Pisces Confidential: Good News Re Saturn

Are you a Pisces Sun, Ascendant or Moon? Or are you grimly observing the Pisces-dominant zone of your birth chart? Take off your dank Saturn over-robe, uncrick your neck and get a load of this. I have legit good news for anyone currently shivering under the chilly-platinum rays of Saturn aka Chronos.

BTW, If you haven’t already read Saturn in Pisces for Pisceans, please do! It has more background, data and dates.

The good news re Saturn is that some – perhaps even a significant amount – of the pressure will lift in mid-June. Because a galactic anomaly pulled it off-orbit and into an interstellar void? No, sorry.

However, Jupiter will be in a friendly sextile alignment with Saturn from June 14 to 25, lightening the load considerably. Jupiter acts as a kind of a buffer to the edgier gloomcore side of Saturn. It’s also a good prosperity vibe – all your common-sense Saturn integrations and/or extra grind hours since March will pay off or show some solid dividends.

Additionally,  Saturn turns Retrograde on June 17/18 and will then spend until early November back-tracking all the way to Zero Pisces before turning Direct. So it’s more revisionary than active what-the-fuqery.

The challenge will be to not erase your saturnine lessons and hard-won knowledge as the astral dopamine kicks in.

It’s surreal having Neptune and Saturn in your sign at once – Neptune enhances the already cinematic Pisces imagination which makes it exceptionally risky to indulge any Saturn-prompted fear and paucity scripts. A fleeting ‘fear of failure’ that another sign could fend off with a blast of logic can become an epic Piscean production, complete with special effects, crashing irony and soul-searing montages.

You can be wise and worldly without freaking yourself out or surrending to mundanity.

Saturn in your sign is one influence among many and in less than three weeks, Jupiter will bring good news and reinforcements.

For an easy laugh, picture yourself as a sought after connection for Aries people from 2025 onward – one month of Neptune in Aries and they’ll come sidling around your way for confidential and discreet advice on, you know, strange phenomenons.

I hope this helps!

Mmmm. I just got a call from GreenPeace. I just discovered the companies are planning on Deep Sea Mining for minerals. This will effect pristine seas and habitat.

    I hope GreenPeace stop this.

  2. seawitchmermaid

having neptune on my sun/mercury (6th house), and saturn on my jupiter (5th).

no words for how absolutely STRANGE things are right now. And that’s coming from a pisces lol

updating to add “people are strange” by the doors just played at the cafe i’m sitting at, in an island in the northeast US lol

    1. I kid you not, but i’ve had that bloody brain worm of a song playing in my head continually since I heard it 2 days ago (in a beach shack in northern Spain, fyi). I just can’t shake it. And now i read this!
What’s Jim trying to tell us? Are the universal Doors of perception open & letting us perceive the Stange-ness of it all?
Because i agree with you, it is v strange right now (I was blaming the SN on my Neptune-Asc & Jupiter opposing from the DC)

      1. seawitchmermaid

        omg i LOVE this.

and SN on neptune/asc sounds like a trip. i think the nodes can have quite a bit to do with strangeness, too… and on your neptune with jupiter amplifying, that’s a lot of misty pisces energy!
(I’m in the midst of my nodal return, I’m 0* Taurus NN in the 7th).

        1. Holy moly, and Jupiter amping your nodal return as well! I agree re the nodes. I guess anything Moon & Neptune related is gonna be in the more liminal/strange spectrum of things.

AND… strangely enough, 56yrs ago when Jim wrote the song, the moon’s nodes were in the same place back then as they are now which is prob why we’re having a reactive resonance to it?…. I know, i know it could be the Neptune Rising delusional loony in me grasping at cozmic straws, but still …

  3. Oof I’m Aries rising and am dreading Neptune in Aries. Can you make a post on what to expect from that?!

  4. Saturn’s sitting on my IC right now and it is no fun at all. A year of this shite to go. Jupiter, my chart ruler, come on down!!!!

  5. Thank you Mystic. And I do look forward to being sought after by Aries men (look just one – a good one – would do the trick) in search of a soothing piscean take on things. Maybe that Venus in Leo stage can be just good old fashioned love? No zombies 😎😎😎

  6. ‘… one month of Neptune in Aries and they’ll come sidling around your way for confidential and discreet advice on, you know, strange phenomenons’. This made me laugh out loud, so funny, especially the ‘you know, strange phenomenons’ 😄

  7. Thanks Mystic… 💕
    Are we there, yet?
Seems to be my constant phrase on repeat.
I can relate to many other comments on your post as Saturn makes its way into my 1st, nicely wanting to conjunct my Moon/Asc and Neptune. Always being one that rises to adversity and horrendous phases aka my last year’s managerial role in a toxic environment…. I feel your hope for us fishies as I am resigning from said position and will be concurrently swimming in lots of beautiful blue azure waters with the sun on my back.
Let’s bring on the reprieve and hopefully good fortune 🌟🌟🌺💕🔱💕

Dunno if this is another banal-yet-on-topic contribution on my behalf, but:
    1. Men in Cardigans – First became prominent in Saturn in Pisces in 1990’s (Kurt Cobain). Now sighted on catwalks, red carpets etc (acc to The Guardian), spearheaded by the Mandalorian, Chilean-American (and Aries) Mr Pedro Pascal..? Is the men’s cardigan the outre manifest of Saturn (dependable, sturdy, sensible) in Pisces (comfortable, blending private with public wear, soft woollen structures associated with “care”??)
    2. Gate of Ishtar – now, I know next to nothing about ancient Mesopotamian, Babylonian, Assyrian or Sumerian history. But the BBC Travel guide just did a write up on an ancient road that cuts through the centre of modern Iraq, and cites it as the only way to see where such human accomplishments as the development of cunieform writing, mathematics, and the invention of wheel (among many others) happened. But what really caught my attention was the pic of the Gate of Ishtar (Inanna) (reconstructed remnants of portion of original now not in Iraq, but a German museum), and its beautiful Cobalt blue bricks, and silver and gold reliefs of dragons, bulls, and lions (all dedicated to various deities, but the blue colour symbolising lapis lazuli and lions are dedicated to goddess Ishtar/Inanna.)
The synchronicity hit me personally, as have been gifted various items/had items come undeniably to my attention featuring lions, lapis lazuli, and gateways. Also, I recently planted two camomile plants, the flower of which was also exclusively on the Procession following Ishtar Gate.
Anyway. Saturn (history) in Pisces (spirituality) is showing up for me, and illuminating my upcoming natal Leo-Scorp-Aqua-Taurus (Lion-Dragon?-Bull) grand cross with Pluto.
(Will figure that out by myself – but just wanted to bring up the beauty of the Gate, if you feel the need to find some. Xoo)

    1. Corduroy jeans

(Just realised I have just tried to paint dubious men’s fashion, AND the Gate of Ishtar, all with the same brush. Sorry-not-sorry 🤣)

      #alsodidSmithWaitetarotreferencethisinWorld?

    2. Wish Upon a Star

Women in Cardigans. 😃😊 I used to wear this old cardie that had speckles in it. I rocked it and my bestie thought so too.

Now that I think about it, it did feel like a Saturn shroud with glittery sparkles to lighten it up. Like protection.

      ♑🐟✨💖

      1. Corduroy jeans

Ooh I LOVE this idea, Wishes – what about knitting one from pure wool? This way, you can whisper loving incantations with each stitch! Now THAT is what I call practical magic Xxxx
(Add sprkles with tiny quartz beads? You will be a walking portal to multiverse!!)

        1. Wish Upon a Star

You are so sweet! I am a beginner knitter and am going to start with a hoodie shawl in alpaca wool to cover and keep warm my big hair and head.
But hey I might make a cardie with speckles too.

It sounds like you got your mojo back after that bad cold hey?

          1. Corduroy jeans

Hope I have got my mojo back, dear Wish..!! Funny you say the word ‘mojo’ as I just re-watched the Austin Powers movie where he lost his “mojo, Baby, yeah!!!” over the weekend. Too funny!! XOO
(Ps. I am a beginner knitter, too!! It is where the magic is, I am discovering at 46 – I love being a beginner. I have knitted a very big, long red woollen scarf for myself – pre-pandemic – it was my first proper knit, with all the stitches, but importantly – ALL the mistakes. I wear them with pride..😉🥰❤🤗)

    3. I loved the Innana Gate description. Will look it up after the next call. Also, another prominent “Saturn in Pisces vibe” dependable kind man – Mr Rogers! I totally believe your theory. 🙂

I did a quick check on Mr Rogers. He had his Venus, Mercury, Sun and Moon in Pisces. I tend to associate heavy Pisces energy in men with kindness. 🙂

      1. Corduroy jeans

Oh my Goddess above, 5HC!! I just looked up Mr Fred Rogers – SO Cardigan Personified, and SO Pisces !!!! Perhaps because am in Oz, I had never heard of him – but of course!! You got my befuddled explanation, straight away!😂🥰
Hope you doing okay, Virgo Maiden. Kuan Yin, White Tara and of course, traditional Chinese medicine all good for motherly love. X 😘

        1. Thank you, CJ. I had to pause the IVf today on doctor’s reccomendation. We’ll start again next cycle. 🤧 I am bummed but also maybe its all for the best. Going to pour energy into my plants and parents for the next few weeks.

I never knew Mr Rogers while growing up, snd such a shame it is. He is such a balm for the soul. ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

          1. Corduroy jeans

Hi 5HC, Am so sorry to hear this. My first reply went to a moderator because I think I tried to type an emoji and maybe it thought I was hyper-linking. Anyway. Thinking of you, and hope you are alright. Logging off for a bit to get work done. Luv & light. xoo

    4. I love what you write about cardigans possibly being a manifestation of Saturn in Pisces, CJ! And also very funny, ‘soft woollen structures associated with “care” 😄

      1. Corduroy jeans

Oh, I know – “whatchu talkin about, CJ??” Am very sleep deprived, and a little too obsessed with textile sculpture !🤣💐

    5. Love this and nothing beats a good cardigan, jacket or jumper. Kurt Cobain such a talented artist and Pedro Pascal ❤️

      1. Corduroy jeans

Kurt Cobain was a shooting star, wasn’t he. 💫🙏 Had never heard of Pedro, but my Star Wars obsessed son had, and it was great to see a fellow Chilean do humour well (at least, on Graham Norton!!)💖xx

        1. Are you from Chil, Earthstar? If so, that’s really nice to know (not that I am drawing any big conclusions from it 😉)

          1. Corduroy jeans

Well, my parents are, so I am first generation Aussie, or however it is termed (i was born in Aust but parents only moved from Chile a few years prior.) A benefit was growing up in two cultures/languages (mainly via my Dad), and the wry humour is very South American! (In my experience). Also, not taking anything too seriously – which is also v Australian!😉 Hope you all ok, Calcifer – and hope this upcoming Saggie full moon is a good and nurturing one.🤗🥰

            1. Ah, it’s nice that you are from two cultures, CJ. The people whom I know who are bi-cultural often have interesting perspectives. I see that I wrote ‘Chil’ but I meant ‘Chili’ of course… 😊
Thank you for the full Moon wishes 🌝

              1. Corduroy jeans

You deserve every blessing and more, sweet Calcifer!! Xo
(And yes, love being a bi-cultural outsider. Straddling two different views gives you wings 🕊)🌻

    6. Ahhhhhh, I’ve been on the hunt for my ‘Kurt Cobain’ Cardi or V neck knit from the 90’s. Strange how my affinity for Kurt has never waned.

      1. Corduroy jeans

I so hear you Shazberry re 90’s digs. The one time I really, really purged all my clothes!! (But at least I know how to knit now, soo..) And the affinity between the two Sat in Piscean times is weird, isn’t it??
On the funny side, I heard Pulp’s “Common people” again on car radio while out driving with my daughter, and heard things I didn’t first time around (in 90’s), so… weird.

    7. Penelope Darling

I have spent the last three days with men’s cardigans flashing through my thoughts. I think you are on to something.

      1. Corduroy jeans

Well Pene, I hope the men in those cardigans lived up to their soft yet dependable couture signalling! 😄 (And that you got your thesis in ok. What an effort!🙌💪🌷) x

          1. Corduroy jeans

Pene, you have so got this ! X
Don’t let fear of failure hold you back. Visualise putting the Fear in a heavy canvas bag, and tossing it over the Grand Canyon//from one of the Himalaya. Or, have fun with it – deliberately write an impossibly bad draft section of your thesis e.g. “I think xyz because abc. Deal with it.”🤣 and get out what you want to say, then “smoosh” it into a a better looking and sounding word sculpture..? (Re: Umberto Eco, and what you & the lovely Sam talked about – one of his greatest quotes (to me, and my understanding, anyhow) was about how there was no “innocence” in language anymore, as in, there was no “fresh” way to describe or say anything, it is all cliché and thus, meaningless (prescient in the age of AI, right? But he was referring to even the most intimate of discussions – of love, family, life passion – and not just the writer-reader or academic relationship -which can of course, still be intimate!) And so, I took from that the inherent challenge in writing anything down, is how to make it sound like it has never been said before, even if it has a thousand times. And that is, to say it from the heart
            ..)
            Love.xx

        1. Penelope Darling

Pondering whether to subject my partner to a cardigan, I don’t think he’d like it (Capricorn sun)

          1. Corduroy jeans

My kids are Cappie Sun & Rising. The former dictated his clothing preferences to me from age 5 (😂😂), and the latter wouldn’t let me choose any of her clothes for her from AGE 2. (🤯🤣)
(Give him a cardigan that you would also wear – winner 🏆)

          2. Call it a “Library Jacket” and make sure there’s some hand-craft in the workmanship, or at least Italian made or Italian yarn. It’s getting to sale season and there are some dealzz on the fancy stuff too (cashmere / blends)… or the classics Benetton knitwear is timeless
Check the Lunar preferences (or chart ruler? Venus?) for colour and style 😀
Gift when maybe his 4th? house? is positively aspected or activated.. house of safety and personal comfort zone
ok once again I’ve made this advice-y – good luck / have fun etc 🙂

    8. Pisces is by definition the high and the low, therefore “men in frayed knitwear” and “Gate of Ishtar” are both highly relevant xx and thank you for comment and yes Pascal does rock a cool jumper/ sweater vibe. Also Brad pitt seems to be welcoming back his proper Sadge aura which I appreciate. ALSO fun fact both of those men have Capricorn moons

      1. Corduroy jeans

Hi there my fellow Lilith Cowgirl 🤸‍♀️🌻🤠 I read “frayed men wearing knits” and “Gate of Aurora” because I need glasses, but it all fits. TFW somebody gets you, while we sip sand philosophically and wonder why Love Zombieness isn’t Creative Writing postgraduate degree all by itself !! Thank you darling xxo (also, hello – you have the muse already!!! In title case: You Have It!)
Re dating Aries (apologies in advance for generalising, but as am also Aries, and married to one, I forgive myself 😂):
        a. They love their mates. If you get along with their mates (or can make a good impression of it, if they seem “ok”🤣), for some reason this means everything??
        b. You don’t have to be an athlete but if you have a working understanding and/or blithe off-hand surface knowledge of all the bloodsports (footy all types, debating, politics, law, rock/hip hop, politics, etc) you will never run out of things to talk about
        c. Never be afraid of a good verbal spar, and never, ever concede ground – unless they have, first, obviously.😂
        Bring on Neptune in Aries!!🤯

        1. I appreciate you, the knitted frayed men and Items a through c. (tick.) Existence is a contact sport that is refereed by the players themselves.

      2. Thank you Sam. This explains it, Cap Moon. I found myself imaginary online shopping on the Dangerfield website. Online shopping with no intention of purchasing and if money was of no concern, what would and wouldn’t you buy and why? So much fun, finding clothes I’d worn in the 90’s and then wondering what has happened with various styling options? Then the whole “gothic aesthetic” and how it’s been diluted and then changed and morphed into something else. I’m afraid I’ll always be freaked out by the prices of items….I won’t pay these prices. Was it only me that used to wear clothes from OP shops and then buy a new satin slip or night dress and wear them out? I know that’s what I did, but I always looked into personalising and making adjustments. Pull apart a wedding dress or bridesmaid dress and put touches of paint on it and see what fabric texture I can make and mix together. Then hand stitch it onto my body so it would fit. I’m very tall so it’s always been a real mission to accommodate the height and curve ratio.

  9. Pisces Moon here. On Taurus New Moon (1st house for me), with transiting Saturn exactly conjunct my Moon, I have met a man that rocked my world 🙂 To say it felt like a fated encounter would be an understatement 🙂 Transiting Venus was also conjunct my natal NN 🙂

  10. Penelope Darling

I was just saying to my Pisces bestie that it feels like an absolute aeon since we Fish have had legit good astrological backing!

  11. Sun-Saturn conj in Pisces here and about to have my second Saturn return. I would rather Saturn than Neptune any day of the week.
I’ve been dealing with illnesses for months and am only just coming out of it. Nothing like pain to focus your clarity on what’s important. Consequently am going back to work next week to ask for a severance from the job I’ve been slowly but deliberately “aged” out of by a poisonous viper of a woman. I’ve no idea what comes next but I have some savings and that will have to be enough for now. I can feel my mind expanding with the prospect of not being in that toxic, diminishing environment.

    1. Whatever little I know of you, I know you will thrive. Sun-Saturn people have the will power for aeons. My bet is on you!

    2. Very courageous and wise, your choice to leave your job, Chrysalis. Rooting for you and sending good energy

      1. Thank you hon. It’s such a hard decision to make, the culture is screaming at me that women “my age” are unemployable. But just watch me. xx

        1. Do keep us up to date on your progress, Chrysalis! I am also of a certain age, and it is inspiring to me to see you make a change 🌟

    3. Hello Chrysallis, it’s nice to hear from you. Commiseration on your illnesses and pain but also happy that you are coming out of it. Hope you get your severance & you can start your journey upwards & onwards into the next phase.
I found the whole era between Chiron Return (menopause) & 2nd Saturn Return to be the most tumultuous in terms of health & work upheavals (often v much related, vipers not withstanding). It seemed like one big destabilising churn after another.
But, I just know you will glide into a new creative era once you stabilise & strengthen your body. Also, Sun-Saturn is v resilient. You will prob flourish more than ever once The Churn is over.
As an aside, i was hoping you would check in here seeing that our favourite asteroid is conjunct Mercury. Always good to check in & listen to the wisdom in our chart’s G-spot. 😉 xx

      1. Hello dear Skarab, so lovely to hear from you – I hope all is well in your world 🙂 This is so interesting. I too have had non-stop Churn since Chiron return a while back. In fact, I’d count the past ten years, since my divorce, as being a huge upheaval. Most things have gone well (eventually) but it’s left me burnt out and frankly, career wise, let down. Been doing so much reflecting on how I’m still in an industry that I chose when I was in my 20s based on wonky thinking. I guess it was right at the time but now seems completely ridiculous, given how I have changed (and the industry too). It’s not them, it’s me! 🤣
I just checked up on Gaz! Not only is he conj Mercury, he is fast approaching my MC. No wonder I am battling the urge to tell my workplace to go fuq themselves. xxx

        1. Serendipitous Synchronicity

Thank you Skarab & Chrysalis, for the glee that is a mention of Gary.
A favourite MM quote: ‘Fuq it’ is a Gary affirmation.
          (Natal Gary/Sun Libra 1 in 4th on/straddling IC with Uranus Virgo 29 in 3rd)

          1. OMG MYSTIC
            WE NEED A GARY ORACLE
            SOME ANSWER SUGGESTIONS:
            FUQ IT
            YEAH, NAH
            NAH, YEAH
            WHAT THE FUQ
            TELL THEM TO GET FUQED
            SEND IT
            SHE’LL BE RIGHT
            HAVE A BLOODY GO

(thanks Serendipitous Synchronicity also you have a strangely appropriate name for my thought bubble comment)

            1. Corduroy jeans

Chrysalis, am so late to this but you are in my thoughts anyways..💖A creative queen trying to make it work with the small-hearts is always going to be hemmed in, consciously or no – use your G-force to move to safer, broader fields, sweetheart.🤗😘🤗

            2. YES! The Gary Oracle. Or at the very least, a q in the OG oracle. What would Gary do? Ooh imagine a Gary tarot!!!

      2. Hi Skarab, thank you for this 🙏
I am also currently in the phase between Chiron return and Saturn return (in 2 years). And it’s been VERY turbulent…

    4. I guarantee that any means of self-removal from the orbit of viper-people will improve your sense of wellbeing as you recover your you-ness from the haze. You got this, lady xxx

    5. Hi Chrysalis,
This is incredible news. You’re putting yourself first and seeking a new career opportunity. A work environment that doesn’t foster you, and see that it’s the people in the organisation that need to be supported and developed.
I’ve always felt the “ageism” that exists in the employment arena. So I decided to back myself, as I’d experienced a lot in toxic workplaces.

The more I learn about my natal Saturn placement in Leo, the more I realise I’m on the correct path. Taken me so long to feel this way.
Omg the reference to Gaz 🤣 and the scent guy 😍 May your health continue to improve and your new employment decisions be successful 💗

  12. Wish Upon a Star

I must be weird because I felt good when Saturn entered Pisces. I’m a Pisces Rising.

    Anyhow. Thanks Mystic.

    🙏😊🐟

    1. That’s great! There are always benefits from Saturn but I wanted to provide some oomph for people finding it heavy going at the mo.

          1. Wish Upon a Star

It is conjunct true Lilith within 3 degrees.
Opposite Mars in Libra 8th house. Square mercury in Cancer 5th house and trine Jupiter in Leo 5th house.

              1. Well, I am stumped. Mars-Saturn conjunctions could be termed Saturnian, but I have no experience with Oppositions. Whatever the experience, enjoy it to thr maximum. 🙂
