Jupiter in Gemini!

“Reading, conversation, environment, culture, heroes, mentors, nature – all are lottery tickets for creativity. Scratch away at them and you’ll find out how big a prize you’ve won.”

Twyla Tharp – natal Jupiter conjunct Lilith in Gemini

Sensing a new buzz in the background? Maybe it’s an anomaly in the grid, maybe it’s Geminis arcing up for Jupiter in their sign from this weekend.

Consciously or not, they’re getting ready to optimus-maximus their way into a cooler life. But Jupiter in the sign of the Twins is not just for them – it also benefits mercurial people, double agents, new media, currency traders, writers, the pace of commerce and hybrid ventures or careers.

And, if you started something cool and ingenious with April’s Jupiter-Uranus conjunction in Taurus, this is when you can talk about it more freely and get good help or the exact data you need to expand it.

You see, Jupiter in Gemini is the frontrunner to Uranus in Gemini from next year.

Recent improvisations – even your most hardscrabble workarounds and 3:AM realizations become innovative strategies. By the time Uranus crosses the Zero degrees point of Gemini in July 2025, they could be legit foresight, evidence of your ahead-of-timely acumen.

Jupiter last graced Gemini during the early Zap Zone (Uranus square Pluto) era: from June 11 2012 until June 26 2013. You may recall it as the year the Ancient Mayans suddenly went mainstream and people with miniscule interest in esoterica opined about the Mayan astrological cycle.

The world didn’t end, thus proving my theory that someone got sick of hand-chiselling ephemeride tablets millennia into the future. CERN, however did discover their sought-after ‘God particle’ a few weeks into Jupiter in Gemini.

Twelve years and a few trillion dollars later, it does not seem to have translated into a use case and this take on it seems to imply that more money would be required to build a fancier particle collider. The MIT Technology Review is more frank about the impasse.

But if particle physics was to enjoy a morale boosting quantum discovery, it would be in mid-June, the Jupiter Return of the sensational 2012 discovery.

If you were likewise busy sparking awesome inventions and attractions in 2012 but for whatever reason the thing failed to ignite, this round of Jupiter in Gemini could bring joyous breakthroughs.

Jupiter and Pluto in Aquarius are in beneficial trine aspect from May 30 till June 7, part of an excellent Sun-Venus alignment that I detail in the Daily Mystic for Fri 24 – Sun 26.

We have plenty of time to acclimatize to Jupiter in Gemini but if you’re seeking an immediate stance on it, look no further than this advice from the sci-fi author Bruce Sterling – born with Jupiter in Gemini trine Neptune.

Forget trying to pass for normal. Follow your geekdom. Embrace nerditude…Get weird. Get way weird. Get dangerously weird. Get sophisticatedly, thoroughly weird, and don’t do it halfway. Put every ounce of horsepower you have behind it. Don’t become a well-rounded person. Well-rounded people are smooth and dull. Become a thoroughly spiky person.”

  1. from memory, the last Jupiter in Gemini was a very different time for me – it’s mostly my 12th house, and I was in the throes of a v real personal situation. it was the first time possibly as a fully fledged adult that I needed stacks of alone time, but it felt full, like enough, there just wasn’t enough bandwidth for external inputs. it was also a very creative time for me.

since then, hermiting has become more of a feature regardless, but maybe I am more adept at it too, so at least this time I know not to judge and fight myself during a nice big 12th house transit. and the opposite of 12th house is 6th house, which in this case I translate as “sweeping the temple” . for better communion with the gods, and fellow visitors, and such.

  2. It feels like I’m approaching a hard-won mountain peak. Feels big, IS big! Sun/Venus in Gem, and I was very skin-of-the-teeth lucky in 2012-13; Jupiter in Gemini saved my bacon back then, apparently (thanks for the extra oomph!). But I’m older and (slightly) wiser now. LET’S GO AGAIN! #suningem #venusingem #jupiteringem #thegreatnessisuponus ✨

  3. Gemini is most of my first house except for the first two degrees, and lord of my second house, yet I have been so burned by (yes, very attractive!) Gemini lovers, friends, relatives. For myself I can see it in that first house domain – my home is full to the brim with books, I read everything, I want all the information, I love conversation (especially one-on-one) yet somehow the emotional nature of Gemini is elusive. But let’s call this a lovely opportunity to appreciate it more!

    1. Well at least they were attractive lol! 😂 Hhhm with Gemini’s the nature of the twins symbolically can be viewed as the Sun & the Moon. I’ve definitely found this true with twins in my own family!
I wonder if the Sun being in your first house of ‘self’ may mean the moon side of yourself being your emotional side is still in shadow?
Time to do some deep psyche excavations! There’s treasures in there 🎁

Bahaha this is so on point all I want to say is: LET’S FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOO 🥳🥳🥳🥳
