The Daily Horoscopes Are Back – Details

I haven’t had the chance to catch up on the comments yet but I did glimpse someone kindly trying to mollify those of you who were annoyed by mentioning my Mars in Virgo. Thank you! And yes this was a total Mars in Virgo trip.

So without wanting to sound onanistic, the update required deep focus and I couldn’t both do all the Daily Horoscopes updates and the new material as in time-wise. So I needed to take the Daily Horoscopes offline.

Now my original and far more sensible, intention was to copy over the Jupiter and Saturn material from the Year Ahead Report but while a couple of the interps are from there, I decided they needed to be totally new. The way that the Year Ahead reports are written is as if someone is reading for an event in the future, it’s my take on something that is happening later, not now.

But when you read the Daily Horoscopes, it’s immediate. I’m also able to connect an interpretation for a transit to the other things happening now to hopefully enrich the delineation. Essentially I became obsessed with improving every single bit of writing on there.

A few days in, however, I began to wonder why on earth it was taking so long. I’d barely left the house or slept, my study looked like a vortex of creative chaos and yet still I wasn’t done. Then I did a word count and realized I’d written over 60,000 words with 100, 000 more to go – like writing a novel in a week.

And yes, Saturn is currently opposing Mars in Virgo and I really wish it would move on lol. But the obsession didn’t end there — I then spent 72 hours straight checking historic daylight savings data for practically every single place on the planet.

You may think it’s straightforward but there were years when some places used it and others decided not to and regional variations re when it started. My developer said I could just fix it when someone said they thought it was wrong.

But I’d already taken the scopes offline for days longer than I thought I would need to while I wrote my book-length of updates, I didn’t want even a single person to be upset because their birth data yielded the wrong timezone – it throws out the ascendant degree and  thus the transit times.

My developer also pointed out that I could have just purchased A.I. written interps and have been done with the whole thing in a couple of hours. I am not bagging out anyone who does use it and there are a lot of apps + sites with artificial content now but I can’t. It’s partly ego – I think I write better than A.I.

But it’s also because A.I. can put together an interp of a planet being conjunct your natal Moon or something but it can’t also connect that to an upcoming Jupiter or Uranus transit and the current Moon situation. I am trying to create a unique offering and unfortunately I needed to take the scopes offline for these days to do it.

Geo, my lovely assistant, has also been away on unscheduled leave as she injured her wrist and ankle so if you’ve emailed but not gotten a response I am so sorry. I know it is annoying to have things not up when they should be but please know that if something is late – eg: the Daily Mystic – it is because it’s all me and I am passionate about trying to find the right words and imagery, putting all the astro in context & being as helpful a “guide” I can be in these strange times.
