Happy Friday – it’s brilliant to have the official ‘day of Venus’ with her majesty so sensationally present in the evening sky at the moment. It’s probably projection but Venus seems extra-golden and glittery at the moment.
Venus Retrograde over the weekend will render romance, art and associated desires more potent, albeit more difficult to decipher. But think about this: tactically, this makes Friday fantastic for pitching outrageous ideas, reaching beyond your normal ambitions setpoint, creative risks and declaring your love or even friendship for someone.
The trick is to do it nonchalantly – with a light heart and some kooky dramatic flair, as opposed to over-wrought or wth a sense of heavy stakes. The cast the desire or ambition from your mind and trust that it will zap back in or develop in September/October.
Venus slips into stealth mode and so do you, at least as far as specific people or goals are concerned.
It’s also a Virgo Moon! Close to Mars for the first 12 hours, this Moon brings out the virago aspect of Virgo – well-deployed analytics and a thundering work ethic may accomplish more than you think possible – especially on Friday and early Saturday, regardless of where you are on the planet.

was sooo productive today and yesterday and then Venus retro problems when I had a bad fight with my husband because I stood my ground on my truth… sucks but I know we will work it out in the coming days and I’m proud of myself for not backing down and abandoning myself.
Also just saw I had Mercury trine Mars amping that hyperproductive session! 💪 🧠 I sooo needed that, earlier this week I broke down thinking I would never have a clear brain and energy every again lolol

Coincidently Virgo Moon had me at Office Works for new pens & diary. It’s all about the quality of paper as my beloved Waterman doesn’t like cheap paper.
For those who like paper have been painting on paper made from Elephant poo patties from India (of course), it gives water colours a mind of their own by changing texture and going outside the lines, magical it’s effect.
No hum at moment but birds calling no yelling at me to feed them!

Hi Bebe I just checked and Mars at 6’37” in Virgo is just past its opposition with Saturn at 6’19” Pisces. Officially the orb is 1 degree, so you could still feel its influence. But it is past its exact square so the influence is waning.
Mars will have moved on to 8 degrees Virgo by late Sunday /early Monday. It also depends on the positions of your own natal planets. If your Moon is at 6 or 7 degrees of the mutable signs, for example, you are ‘in the line of fire’ and might feel it more.
Also Saturn is retrograde and Pisces is a subtle sign, as is Virgo. So the confrontation is not like the heavyweight collisions between Saturn in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus (both fixed signs) of the past years.
