January 2022 Monthly Horoscopes

Happy New Year! The January Monthly Horoscopes are up & while I may be biassed, I think they’re super on point this month and I hope you agree. They’re a bit longer than usual but it’s not that. I was trying to be ultra-pertinent and useful.

2022 is the last full year of Pluto in Capricorn – yes, Pluto in Aquarius is imminent!  The phase that started in January 2008 is winding down – I don’t recall the last months of Pluto in Saggo being this fin de siecle and deranged – do you? Maybe it’s a Capricorn thing. (Joke – I do have a more profound take on all this.)

This is also the year of Jupiter in Pisces, Jupiter in Aries, and Jupiter in Pisces again – and for extra hi-jinx, Mars in Gemini for seven months. I know, I know. It will be a fabulous prelude for Pluto in Aquarius.  More soon, including the 2022 sign by sign (or rising sign) Mp3s.

How are feeling on this Dark Moon at the start of 2022? Actually, 2022 really begins with the New Moon on Sunday/Monday.

Brilliant January scopes, thank you Mystic. I am reading them daily, as I have a few fast-moving mutable scenarios and am hoping to harness the magic of Jupe in Pisces to bring luck and benefits (and not just make a massive scene 🤣). I have Lilith on my NN right now and it is taking all my Cap stellium / Sun-Saturn conj energy not to tell a particular corporate paradigm to just fuq off.

Pegasus

Can’t see in the monthly where ‘friends are going to download on you incessantly because you are too polite to tell them to STFU’.
Dislike that ‘The Secret’ stuff but it seems i either have it or my years of zen practise, feeding my head with the good stuff have people thinking i have the all answers. It is simply they are not asking the right questions or any questions.
The simple ‘seek and you shall find’ has been around for ages ’cause it has legs to walk itself through the ages.

5thHouseCap

Seems you need healthy boundaries, dear Pegs. Just get up and leave, or get off the phone feigning an urgent appointment!

MissDee

I hope they are on point – they certainly feel so. The Virgo rising one is amazing.

2022 energy feels optimistic. Like a dark cloud has dissipated and the sun rays are breaking through the gloom & doom (the sun is literally beaming on a NY winters day as I write this!!). I’m absorbing this new moon in Cap for all its earthly grounding delights which is a welcomed change to mania & Chiron’s heavy lessons lol. I’ve been in a state of imposed exile (even before Corona hit) and I’m finally peeking out of the closed blinds ready to rejoin society, with obvious limits. Jupiter trine my Midheaven & opposite Venus is basically pushing me out… Read more »

Happy new year! Question to the lovely community here. Which horoscopes resonate more with you? Your Sun or rising? Or any particular stellium? Personally, I do not even remember what I was doing first half of 2021. Just spent it in a PTSD type of daze, though I did set up my new apartment through it. Then, the execution of long pending pre-filed divorce, failed fertility treatments and the accompanying financial, emotional and physical drain. The career is in shambles, even though the salary rolls in. I need a reinvention. Tried to date again mid-year only to be tangled with… Read more »

Well, writing and publishing a book can feel like childbirth, there are similarities … you’ve been through a lot, may 2022 be kind. I have very late Taurus rising, Scorpio sun and stellium in the 6th, and read both, and I find Taurus often resonates w/regard to house activity while Scorpio, Taurus, and my Cap moon all resonate for behavioral/attitudinal insights.

5thHouseCap

Thank you so much for both sharibg your experience with horoscopes and your wishes. I have a massive 5 planet stellium in Cap. So, Saturn and Pluto have beaten me to chutney level of pulp. 🙂 But I agree. Rising for most things. Sun for esoteric insights and moon/stellium for the feels.

VenusRules

I understand, Saturn/Pluto has taken me on a cold journey to the underworld for the last two years! Here’s to emerging and “living it up on top” (as they sing in Hadestown!)

5thHouseCap

When? When? When?

Wish Upon a Star

I am a Pisces Rising so I look to that reading for magic answers to help me step forward. Gemini Sun for big picture view. And Taurus moon to understand my shitty feelings. Really to validate and say it is ok to have those feelings and own them. It helps me to ameriolate passive aggressive tendencies and eventually let things go.

Wish Upon a Star

Sorry this above reply is for 5th house cap.

5thHouseCap

Thank you. Makes a lot of sense. I am still rather detached from my Aqua Sun (hehe, see what I did there?), but that may be because I use it more for expressing my natal Sun Sq Mars. Otherwise, Rising and Moon/Stellium works for me.

Wish Upon a Star

🌝

Aqualeo

I resonate strongly with my rising sign of Taurus, prob because my Sun is in a stellium of Uranus Jup and Mars at the microscopic end of Cancer and early Leo. Who am I? Default to Taurus, it’s just easier and I do definitely relate to it.

5thHouseCap

Taurus rising with Cancer sun sounds like a neighbour I can lean on. 🙂 Thank you for sharing.

Aqualeo

Definitely a good neighbour for you 5th House Cap as I also have a 5th house Virgo moon ❤️

5thHouseCap

Aww…I used to be married to a Virgo moon. Their love language is well appreciated by my 5th house Cappy moon. Thank you for your service.

Chrysalis

Pluto through your 5th… VenusRules’ comment below is so true – a book is like a kind of birth. It’s certainly a labour, and often transformative. Your insights are profound and I’m guessing there is no way to un-see them? Wishing you all the bounty and fruits from your labours xx Just back into edit as I didn’t answer your question! Both sun and rising resonate with me. I have a Pisces stellium so it’s pretty strong. Yet my Leo rising scope is often completely where I’m at. I read them and reflect and go with the points that seem… Read more »

Thanks Chrys! And wishing the same for you! 🙂 Leo Rising with Pisces stellium sounds like nobility to me. 🙂

Hello dear 5th house Cap. Thank you for sharing your dreams and sending your hugs!
I think you have remarkable writing abilities and skills and you are *incredibly* funny. You are a genius already in my eyes! Im new here, I think your website looks otherwordly beautiful and inspiring and I will purchase a reading soon. XOXO

5thHouseCap

Oh dear! You mean to compliment the resident Chief Sorceress, Lady of the House, and Muse-in-Chief Mystic Medusa, not me.

Aqualeo

And I forgot to mention Pluto will oppose my Mars Jupiter conj once it’s finished with my Sun. Damn those stelliums.

Aqualeo

For the last 6 years I have had Pluto opposing Mercury then Pluto opposing Venus (OMG so difficult). Am now counting the degrees with trepidation for when Pluto moves into Aqua and opposes my Sun Uranus conjunction. Those last two transits altered me from a cellular level up. I am shaking in my boots re the next one although hopefully I have developed some more grit since then. Anyone had the Sun Pluto opp for advice?

VenusRules

all of my lifetime of pluto transits have been conjunctions and squares … but a Sun Uranus conjunction seems powerful. Can Pluto be its ally somehow?

Aqualeo

I will think of it that way Venus. Thank you for the insight. I guess I am used to the Uranus Sun in my life. It hasn’t been easy. I am going to start preparing for this now and think up ways it can be Pluto’s ally.

Wish Upon a Star

I have natal Gemini Sun Sqr Pluto in Virgo.

VenusRules

Both Saturn and now Pluto are in my 10th house for the year. .. no more needle-scratching over my midheaven. I truly felt like I was in my journey through the underworld in 2021, invisible to everyone. If anyone has tips on the 10th house pluto transit, please share! And happy new year, everyone. Many people not far from me lost their homes in the Colorado fire last week — it was a windstorm like nothing I’ve seen. I’m thankful to be safe and wishing good homes and safety for everyone.

gbs

I just came through a throughly Saturnian year, with Saturn squaring my Moon and conjuncting my Midheaven. My mother was diagnosed with Huntington’s disease (a rare neurodegenerative disorder that doesn’t yet have a cure) so I moved back to my hometown to help with her care. I’ve made a big commitment to my own health, since I have a 50-50 chance of inheriting the disease. And I’m starting a new job with a significant raise, building on skills I’ve developed since Saturn’s last big transits over my chart. I’ve got Saturn square Sun and Neptune in 2022 but also the… Read more »

With the change in energy, this Capricorn decided to rebook a cancelled healing for the 31st December. During the healing, I saw myself on a table in the centre of a morgue with a tag on my big right toe with my first name on it. Yesterday on the 1st Jan, a sold sign was sneakily put on the rental I am currently in that is up for sale. (Thank you considerate real estate agent.) As a result, I went to look again at a home I had rejected as I thought it reflected my pattern which is older homes… Read more »

Assuming of course if I get the house, if I apply.

sphinx

This is a hard one. A bit before Christmas we moved in to a new house. We left a house we adored in another state last Christmas. That house was a home. The layout sucked, but we loved it passionately. The new house does everything a house should. People like it. But it isn’t a home, despite all the cosy nooks. If a house feels like a home or sanctuary I am thinking it is for you?! The new house is no work. A pool, a deck and wonderful indoor and outdoor area (my cats are beyond thrilled by that feature,… Read more »

Skarab

They are in the realm of Cancer after all – it’s all about the feels & emotions they invoke.

sphinx

Yes, Virgo rules my 4th House though, so I am practical too! And this house is practical, healthsome (excellent breezes, dry and clean) and the plants surrounding reach over the deck and green the space. Mainly my little Autie Cappy is thrilled with the pool, spending many happy hours churning the depths. It feels secure which is nice given natal Pluto there and also, Uranus, which both create a dissonance/unease in regards to a feeling of “hearth & home”.

Brunnie

It is so true. Houses and land do call to you. Everytime, I look at something modern and low maintenance my head says yes but my heart sinks. Sad to hear your new house does not feel like a home for you.

sphinx

It’s objectively pleasant and relaxing, I shouldn’t complain & am grateful for solid home! With Uranus in the 4th I have lived in many countries, huts to mansions, change is a constant!

Bon

I’ve found that when looking at new houses to live in, I know the minute I walk through the front door if it’s for me or not. No matter if it’s an old or new house, it’s more an energy thing, it’s got to “feel right”. I’ve often wondered about this, and just assumed it was intuition. But yes, they call me. The happiest home I’ve lived in was my grandmothers tiny 1 bedroom cottage with a verandah along the back, lawns, a mint & herb garden & big shade trees. My friends would flock there to visit, lots of… Read more »

5thHouseCap

Same! I know within seconds of walking in the door too. Mostly has nothing whatsoever to do with layout, location or light. Just a feeling. South Node conj Uranus in 4th House. Past life intuitive abilities?

Bon

Interesting and accurate observation 5thHouseCap – thanks for the clarification! Def Uranus 4th house past life intuition, my most reliable source of power.

sphinx

Thank you Bon! Pot plants are on the list! The previous owner left some, I do miss my old collection – huge terracotta, jade and ultramarine pots were given me by the child of a dear mentor who passed, with various wonderful plants including a Japanese Maple. I gave them to my friends and family when I moved. I also have Uranus in the 4th, I end up moving a lot, which I actually like.

Wish Upon a Star

I get a good feeling about this house. It feels poetic!

Brunnie

Yes, your sensing is correct. It is poetic.

Bon

This cedar house with rambling gardens sounds like it’s meant to be yours, even by appearing in your dream! Hope you get it (if you want it).
Sounds wonderful to me, could be great satisfaction in restoring the magical gardens.

Brunnie

Restoring a magical garden would be satisfying and the resultant magical experiences may be more than I bargained for. 😊

5thHouseCap

I often say, houses that make you invest time and energy to make them habitable are the ones we miss the most when its time to move on. Big thumbs up for the rambling house with magical garden in disarray. You will not regret it.

Brunnie

😊

Alex

I think you are amazing and I love your graphics, art and images and have no idea how you seem to make them so perfectly apt. You are a true blessing to me.

Invicta

Comment below notwithstanding I am doing actually pretty good. Yeah, it’s a drag, all the dredging and sludging of detritus from the cap converge but you know there is light. I’m definitely feeling way more myself than I ever have before and I’ve never felt less likely to elope with someone hot but sketchy or you know? Life may indeed be a trifle stodgy but I might actually have outgrown the stability fatigue that’s always haunted my house. I’ve been on the run since I was a little kid and I get it. Being with my self is a lot.… Read more »

Is it wrong that I’m counting the days till Pluto is out of Cap?
I remember the DAY it entered and honestly I… well it’s been a ride.

1) God/Goddess I love your writing/mind.
2) Do I remember the 19th of November? Yes I was side swiped by the moon and a natal Juno transit, wouldn’t have noticed Venus if she had sparklers
3) Now looking forward to 2022

R(Aqua/Tauri)

From Aqua: “You can’t abdicate: you must reign. As much as you may want to relinquish control of ‘boring’ components to someone who ‘knows better,’ super-accountability is your thing now.” Oof. Tears were streaming down my face in the car earlier on the way to say temporary goodbye to my horse while I get surgery. My partner asked what I was feeling and why I was crying and I realized that it wasn’t really about “I’ll miss my horse” (even though I WILL!!!) but more about something I had in childhood and teen years that left for a time and… Read more »

I just read Jackie French “Oracle” Childrens book but easy, interesting and addictive ps it has a horse in it. Pss Good luck and quick and easy recovery XxXx

R(Aqua/Tauri)

I WILL READ ANYTHING WITH A HORSE I AM SOLD ^__^ Actually I love the idea of reading children’s books while I am recovering, slipping into a sort of Neptune dreamy space

Invicta

I’ve just read two books of short stories by George Saunders, Pastoralia and The Tenth of December. Surrealist Americana. Very modern. His latest one, a swim in a pond in the rain breaks down some of the best short stories to come out of Russia and is kind of a masterclass in reading, writing and life. All through the voices of you know Chekhov et all. Interestingly those guys were writing in a time of extreme shall we say cancellation risk? So they had to be pretty astute and opaque with their delivery to avoid being whisked off to the… Read more »
