Random Astrological Musings

I have a tonne of notes and rando observations that are unlikely to become posts in their own right but which I can’t bring myself to delete. So I’m putting some of them here (unpolished) as an FYI – they’re totally unconnected from one another, but who knows? Maybe there IS a connecting thread?

*Biodynamic gardening druids say that in the 48 hours leading up the Full Moon there is a distinct and measurable increase in the Earth’s mosture content.

*J.D. Vance has asteroid Gary exactly conjunct his Mars in Scorpio.

*Is Saturn calcium and Jupiter magnesium? Saturn = rigid, fortifying but calcifying/age etc. Bone strengthener. Antagonist to magnesium, which is muscle relaxant, expansive etc – name evokes ‘magnanimous’ – Lodestone, universal attractant.

*A phone company created an “A.I. Granny” named Daisy to ‘waste scammers time & tie up their resources’ by asking daffy questions, being technologically inept and talking about her cat. It’s laudable, it’s innovative and I’m excited to see the follow-up characters: Insidiata who wastes scammers times by talking about Etruscan sleep spells and uploading sentient sigil things to their server and Edwin – the one-time love interest of Daisy the granny, he is now so consumed by rage at well, everything – that he ties up the scammers resources by demanding a ten hour explanation of what a browser cache is, impassioned monologues about the government and talking about his bad back or the poor job some young whippersnapper of a tradie did on his shower tiles.

*Caroline Calloway, one-time influencer and author of Scammer is a quintuple Sagittarius: Sun, Ascendant, Moon, Mars and –  I need to add her to the list from the other day – Mercury Retrograde in Saggo!

Her advice:

“Listen, if you’ve never had any scandals, my advice would be to continue to have none. But if you’ve had one, have as many more as you can. It’s the Kardashian, Trumpian information overload fatigue. There’s a point where people can’t retain enough information to remember every little scandal. Whereas if you have one scandal, people remember, and it defines you.”

*When Aquarian writer Virginia Woolf met the Gemini poet W.B. Yeats, she wrote in her diary: ‘He believes entirely in horoscopes. Will never do business with anyone without having their horoscopes.’

*Quadruple Aquarian Vitalik Buterin – the founder of cryptocoin Eretheum – responding to an interviewer asking he preferred white or dark chocolate:

“Dark chocolate. I usually prefer 90% but I have this long-term dream of eventually trying every integer from 80 to 100 and so far I’ve had, let’s see if I remember it. I’ve had 80, 83, I think 85, 86, 88, 90, 92, 95, 99, and 100. I believe those are the ones that I’ve tried. So there are still about 10 integers that I need to go through at some point.”

*From Rudolf Steiner, the Piscean’s Piscean:

Riddles untold in the widths of space,
Riddles untold in the rounds of time!
Only the wakened spirit can solve them,
Holding its own,
Beyond the confines of Space, beyond the flow of time.

*Javier Milei, the Argentinian President whose brutal budget austerity (his Mars in Virgo) has evidently drastically reduced inflation, is a Libran with Gemini Rising, a Leo Moon and Venus conjunct Neptune in Scorpio. He’s in a new relationship with Yuyito Gonzalez, a Piscean television presenter & Eighties glamor model.

I love what she said when asked about the age-gap between them (she’s 11 years his senior) in the early days of their romance: “I am older, which is part of the extravagance of what this relationship could become if it materializes…

Melei, who describes himself as “an anarcho-capitalist” famously refused to move into the presidential palace. Instead, “he moved into the suburbs of Buenos Aires with five mastiffs that were genetically engineered to be clones of one of his deceased dogs…

Having a chuckle about Vance and “Gary”, nice find!
Scary that Vance is only one step from the top job, and with Trump wobbly and running on adrenalin, it’ll be sooner than later.

  2. I hope Trump & Elon (DOGE) can do what Milei did. We drastically need to cut bloated programs & inflation over here in the US 🙁

  3. I love these and am totally seeing links – Saturn/Jupiter + Calcium/Magnesium, Saturn’s containment of scammers harnessing Jupiter’s expansiveness with the Daisy bot & dark chocolate is a rich source of magnesium.

    1. Watch out 50%? of all chocolate contains heavy metals. Cacao industry bodies are aware of this they are supposedly trying to address the issue

      1. thanks for the heads up, I don’t eat enough of it for it to be an issue but organic as well? And how does it even get in there?

  4. Gary on mars in Scorpio. annoyingly I’d probably find him attractive but the fact that he’s a Leo might reduce that (Leo men aren’t really my thing that’s all). I read hillbilly elegy back when it came out and found it interesting so I’m really quite annoyed that he’s come out of the closet as a bit of a twat now
usha Vance is a cap. 06-01-86. she’s somehow parked her, you know, educated progressive woman thing to marry this guy, from the 16.8 seconds I spent googling, I’m baffled about this but hey. maybe she’s a moderating influence or maybe she thinks she’s immune to or above the culture shift that that political party is working hard to entrench

  5. calcium / cap / Saturn: accretes slowly to build shells, bones. … then after millenia these too become giant blocks of stone… that we make buildings, bridges and cement out of. that really is quite meta of you Saturn

calcium the metal is so soft you can cut it with a knife but it reacts instantly with oxygen. like, basically it can’t be alone with itself lol unless in special conditions

magnesium burns hot fast and bright, also a soft metal but not quite as reactive as calcium. I like the Leo magnesium theory
they’re neighbours on the periodic table

love cosmic-riddle mentality… where physics and the great nothing meet. I like that it gives people who aren’t quantum astrophysicists a way in to comprehending the universe & its operations

    1. I think you would love “Lessons in Chemistry” by Bonnie Garmus (fab fiction funny feminist yarn). Just finished reading it. Looooved it.

    2. oh wait also re limestone – caves. the OG housing (in geologically applicable regions). natural stone caves as hearth place , occurs to me as being core cappy- Cancerian duality

  6. Love, love, love this and agree would love to read your kindred jottings anytime. Also, etruscan sleep spells? Please post anything you have on this fragmentary as you like – and sending all <3 + appreciation <3

    1. Along with sextiling bony arsed Saturn, Venus is currently in the decan of Capricorn that rules the knees!!! Arnica & comfrey are some of Saturn’s most helpful plants for the aches and pains (not medical advice). I spent some time yesterday pondering bees and the knees as I watched them foraging the profusion of comfrey in the garden.

      1. Tree of Life places Saturn at Binah atop of Will, Intellect on the ‘pillar’ of severity. Atop the pillar of mercy is Neptune on Hokmah, beneath which is Jupiter on Chesed.

In our bodies, we cannot absorb calcium without the aid of a balanced amount of magnesium in our food intake. Equally it is difficult to have a life of all severity or all mercy without missing vital lessons, trials and opportunities for growth and reflection.

          1. moving on from the sky sauce, which I am fascinated by, I mean how do you harvest that? are you talking about the sefirot? if yes, when did neptune get a seat on the pillar?

  7. Read the linked article about Caroline Calloway – fascinating! Will try and track down the book. Also triple Sagg makes sense there. At what point does overt optimism, drive, and careful curation of manifesting become deceitful… is it all more is more? Curious to see how Jupiter in Gemini opposes all of that in her chart.

  8. Hahaha 😂. How hysterical about AI Granny and Grandad. I had to make sure I didn’t spill my coffee everywhere upon reading this. This Luddite or as close to one as you can be these days has for the first time read something that would make her give a thumbs up to AI. Thank you for the ramblings Mystic. You have made my day!

  9. Interesting that Vance is Scorpio Mars. That’s a whole vibe. Two of the most important men in my long life have Scorp Mars (interacting with my Scorp stellium), and both are brilliant and charismatic and extremely talented and alluring – and hard, hard relationships that have taught me a lot. One is a shapeshifter like Vance, and both want the spotlight and fame. It’s a placement that demands a ton of integrity to manage. Vance doesn’t have that and he completely repels me for exploiting his gifted intelligence to serve himself and only himself.

    1. Agreed. Mars in Scorpio men either have the core ethics to manage their c**ks or they do not. Sex and the convoluted emotions that grow up around it is pretty much the primary driver of their ethos and worldview. Vance’s education was paid for by my taxes, via benevolent government programs – the same programs his policies wish to eliminate. Such hypocrisy. He’s greasy and grotesque in ways I can’t describe with words. I find him deeply repulsive.
