The Saturn Direct Times

Filed in ASTROLOGY

Saturn Direct Times Vintage Pulp Sci Fi

In the Daily Mystic for Wednesday, I said that the Saturn Direct times are on the Moon Calendar but they’re not!!!  I am so sorry.

I recall now that I only put the Mercury, Venus and Mars Retrograde/Direct times on there. Why? Because they tend to have the most impact. But this Saturn Retrograde has been such a punish that I think many people are tracking it more avidly than usual.

So I am going to change up the calendar and in the meantime, here are the times!  You should be able to quickly calculate the time for Saturn Direct in your location from these.

Auckland – Wednesday 20.47
Sydney – Wednesday 18.47
Hong Kong – Wednesday 16.47
Dubai – Wednesday 12.47
London – Wednesday 09.47
New York – Wednesday 04.47
Los Angeles – Wednesday 01.47

Why are the Saturn Direct times important? It’s been the most potent Saturn energy in decades. But while Saturn remains in his home sign and near Pluto for several more weeks, it is easier to work with when Direct.

So, what have you learned since late April? How are your Clarity-Hope-Tax-Dental-Serotonin metrics these days? Or do you just wish the old devil would take his gloomy self off for an extended holiday someplace out of your galaxy?

Share here and again, sorry about saying the times were on the Moon Calendar when they’re not!

Y’all I had true nodes on my charts from a while back. So today i had mercury opposite my sun, and read that it was square the nodes. So I’d been waiting for that nodal opposition, I have North node at 12.something cap natally, and though I had a minute. (So I just, switched to mean node…oops,no minute) Im an arcminutes only gal at this phase of aluminium hat wearing, so BOOM the Saturn funfest on the south node was ON my north node square my sun. Thank you mercury for what I ever exactly know but might as well… Read more »

“Don’t look back !”. This is what the SBS CHILL radio channel is singing to me. This morning it is sending me messages that are so personal.

Which direction to take? I wait on the feelings and ideas that pop into my head after a good nights rest. And they are very viscerally Taurus aligned. No left brain to analyse and over rationalise.

I didn’t think it was possible but Saturn neck expanded it’s effects to more of my being yesterday resulting in on helluva physically painful day that had to be endured on the job and in ridiculous traffic. Emerging tentatively today…. but with lots less ouch but a heat pack and some homeopathic arnica for good measure. Ugh!!

Hey x I had excruciating intermittent neck pain some years ago that was triggered by stress, usually at the worst possible time. In my case it turned out to not be a mechanical / muscular / nerve issue. It was blocked lymph nodes at the back of the neck. It was identified by an associate who knew the method to drain them. They used their finger to apply pressure from the top of the gland and ran it down, draining the gland and giving me immediate and permanent relief. Have a look on the web for the technique, you can… Read more »

Hi David. That’s very interesting and something I’d not thought of and I’m definitely going to explore it. TY xx On another fun note I was woken up in the middle of the night with stomach cramps from hell and a dose of what I can only imagine was food poisoning so I’m on a roll. A bit mystifying as I can’t imagine anything I ate yesterday causing it but someone said that their doctor said it doesn’t always react quickly and I did have sushi Friday. I still don’t think that fits with the way I know my body… Read more »

Saturn retro coincided with my move out of the city I’d been living in for the past nine years. It’s been a much more rough transition to a new place than I thought it would be, even though I’m only a one hour drive north of where I was, and have faced a lot of old ‘stuff’ in entirely new circumstances and people. It’s been a real a$$ kicker, during which I’ve felt more alienated and depressed than ever. I’ve been in very dark-side, uncomfortable and crazy-making work, household and neighbor situations/environments since coming here and with no respite, though… Read more »

So, since April? That sounds about right. My town very stupidly and enragingly started this MASSIVE rip-up-every-single-major-artery-and-highway project around then to repave everything (not a priority) but maybe if we’re lucky, widen everything too (HIGH priority) and it has destroyed the city. My commute to and from work has gone from a 30 minute breeze to an hour and fifteen minute white-knuckle high-stress network of patched together shortcuts I’ve been calling “driving parkour.” I am praying that that was all Saturnine in nature and that some of these projects – as the Dept. of Transportation website alludes to as well… Read more »

Oh my goodness, do you live near me because the same thing is happening here! I would take different roads and time myself, and also look on maps to see where certain roads connected to try to find the fastest way home. Just this week one road opened and it’s a game changer. Saturn in the third for me.

I have learned that you barely need to breathe in a smidge of sugar to make your blood sugars dance wildly! An illicit carrot. That no sugar alt sugar drink? It will take you three times higher than normal sugar.. just slooooower.
Now I know Saturn is like the Piper. You have to pay him. You get what you asked for, but you need to pay up using time from the Bank of the Power of Now.
And some people’s Pipers want to be paid in Carbs. All your carbs. Till your shopping list is meat, greens & ingredients for fasting.

Saturn retro in my 7th has meant 2x long term enforced separations from my partner. News of the second came an hour after Saturn turned direct at the same degree as when he left the first time. I am tired of this transit.

I’ve learned that I don’t do things until I have absolutely no other option. It doesn’t matter how much I want something, if there’s an easier way, even if the easier way leads to the opposite thing, I’ll take the easy option every time. Then when I’m broken and it’s that or basically starve, end it once and for all or just give it a try already, I try, realise it’s way harder than it looks, keep trying every day for six months to a year until it either becomes routine or I relinquish the desire because I don’t want… Read more »

I found this place on April 4th and had signed a lease and moved in by the 5th (no deposit and first month free, it’s not like I was in a position to refuse) the women’s shelter was closing and it was beyond urgent the house reminds me a lot of the Tyler’s place in Fight Club and so I’ve associated it more with the decent/ Hades vibe of Pluto transiting my 2nd than I’ve thought of Saturn. Saturn moved into my 1st in June tho and the hag transit has been fairly bog standard. Swimming every morning has helped… Read more »

pluto ic is home but not like just the four walls / roof / paying the rent, but your internalised concept of Home, which can often be intimately / complicatedly interwoven with other core ideations of Mother – Father – the home environment – who you are behind the last set of closed doors – how you feel safe, secure, or not (and the planet can help you understand that mechanism) – who you let in or keep out – what you deeply need to feel At Home… that kind of thing. astro.com has an excellent article about the 4th… Read more »

well, i guess transits to the IC can for sure indicate some pretty clear activity on the ‘home and family’ front, either way..

ICPlutoMM Member

Imo, it’s seldom only one transit or one aspect. If your friend has Moon in Cancer, it’s probably in his 10H, since his IC is in Cap. The Moon rules real estate, and with the transiting North Node in Cancer, it may indicate that he’s ready to leave behind familiar places and structures (South Node in the 4H transit) and (re)build somewhere new.

My natal Saturn is in Scorpio, and depending on which house system you choose, either in the 2nd or 3rd house. (3rd makes more sense to me personally.) So this 5th-house transit action had me looking at how I felt unfulfilled creatively in my job/life, and beginning the early explorations of a career change. Ended up leaving my job to get into freelance work and to begin taking classes; that was in June. I’m still living off savings I’d set aside for this purpose and may need to go back to regular-job-land within a few months, but the insights I’ve… Read more »

I can’t even begin to describe the ways that working with, not against Saturn, has changed my life since April. I feel like a new person (sure that’s Pluto involved too!). I had a literal epiphany, like a boulder being moved in my psyche, on the Virgo new moon at the end of August, and though it has been extremely painful to integrate all of my new understanding (esp of my childhood), it has been so so freeing. Hoping that Saturn direct makes the weight a little less heavy

Somehow, I knew SAturn was retrograde, but the April start didn’t ping! Started a new job in April that is satisfying and less-stress, but takes up a lot of my time!

Well, I couldn’t find the last Merc and Venus Retro/Direct times in the Calendar, but kept going back to realise it is now called a MOON CALENDAR, so like a Piscean i just went ah, ok i am meant to look everything non-Moon up because this calendar is about the Moon, lunar portals etc. Nearly emailed, but didn’t want to create a drama. I have ambiguous feelings about this. Ever since April, I have been on fire. Uranus sextile my Venus, Neptune trine my Mars, Uranus trine my Jupiter and so on. I started dating again via dating apps, I have made progress in my EMDR sessions, taken care of old wounds and made progress at work too. Plus when the Saturn retro started it was trine my natal Moon in Taurus. So no, I haven’t been feeling stuck ever since. There are embarrassing errors, critical oversights, unfinished or fuzzy thinking and things where they don’t belong. – Get up. Early. Often. – Do the work. Wow. I have been gone for a few weeks now. Real life has consumed me. But I felt so significantly today that I delved back into astrology. I read that Saturn turning direct was entering a new phase of one’s life, to let go of all that is necessary. Just learned that I live in a 4 numerology/feng shui home, which is a Saturn home. Lots of natural wood, foundation building, structure and privacy. It sounds accurate and kind of boring bc I want the structures to get there already sigh. Part of the journey is to dismantle the known structures that don’t work for me, and to dream up my own structure (nep conj sat). It was so freeing to learn from human design that I’m best living without strategy or rigid societal structure!

Falling behind with an important deadline on a project that could make or break the following several years of my career (or so I think now). A simultaneously difficult and healing relationship establishing with a very Pluto person – feels more stable and nourishing with every passing week, but still triggers old traumas and brings out ingrained unwholesome patterns of thought and behaviour that I thought I’d ditched years ago. Money, plans for old age, status ambitions and past failures got discussed a lot, suitably for a SATURN BLASTED RETURN WHILE SATURN SITS ON THE BLASTED SOUTH NODE. Tax &… Read more »

Interesting, my periodontist just suggested I consider braces again (at 62) because of a few teeth now crowding..yikes.

LibrariusMM Member

Please try to get a second opinion! I’m not sure how serious or medically necessary braces are in your condition, but if it’s more for aesthetic reasons… let’s say, it’s going to take you way, way longer to fix it than for a person of 22 who gets braces; also, it’s going to cost gazillions; and last but not least, the process of getting used to braces is really unpleasant, and the complicated hygiene procedures for the years while you wear them – really onerous. The problem has to kind of be serious/dangerous enough to be worth all the bother.… Read more »

Libraries how do braces help to hold onto your teeth longer?

LibrariusMM Member

My teeth, especially the bigger ones (sorry don’t know the right English for stuff like types of teeth, haha), are at the wrong angles and don’t exactly join at the right facets. Apparently, teeth have a designated surface for biting and all the remaining surface is more delicate. If you keep biting and grinding them at these wrong angles, they tend to wear down faster, become weaker and are more prone to cavities, cracking and so on. If your bite is correct and the teeth are not too badly compressed together, it also helps heaps with keeping up the good… Read more »

I don’t know, I find braces sexy, LOL. On both, or all, genders – and I thought so even before I knew I’d had to wear them myself. Mine won’t be metal but ceramic – the white barely-there kind of modern thingy. I think Libra Rising me pulls off a lot and can pull off braces, too, haha. Omg, the exact same thing (leaving a community) has happened to me when my Saturn Return started! For a combination of several equally shitty reasons I had to leave an NGO I co-founded and was in the strategic board of. I had volunteered for it several years before starting to officially work there, and lost a lot in the process – self-respect, public profile, friends, a cause I was devoted to, connections, career options etc. I survived and feel now like I would have needed to leave anyway, even if the circumstances wouldn’t have been so naff.
