The Future Virgo Mp3 is here, just in time for, well, the last 17 hours of Virgo. It would have been earlier, but I am under E.N.T.’s orders to rest my voice. So, i got my Leo newsreader friend to narrate it and really, I think he’s better than me at it. He’s fast and yet super-enunciated.
And, yes, I know that Future Leo has not happened yet but it will. Future Virgo is part of a Virgo Gift Bundle. If you missed your Virgo friend or family member’s birthday, you could get them this and blame me. It’s a myth that Virgos are avidly into the truth. They’re not. That’s Sagittarius. Virgos just require plausible deniability and alibis that make sense. You’ll stress them out more with conflicting elements of your storyline than the fact of the actual lie.
So with my voice, it is a journey. I’m doing all these speech exercises to try and restore it – lip trills are good for you, in case you did not know – and it’s such an educational process. I’ve learned that most of us don’t speak with our authentic voices, that chest breathing (instead of via the diaphragm) creates tense shoulders/neck and that oil pulling is amazing.
Virgos Need Alibis That Make Sense
And it’s so Saturn. I’m going to explain, not to jaw on about myself but because it is astrologically illustrative. Last year and this year, I have Pluto square my Mercury in Aries. And, perhaps because my natal Pluto is potent in the 8th, with Mars + my chart ruler Uranus, I loved it. I transformed my thought process and writing style, generating dozens of good ideas that I am fizzing to put into action. Then, Saturn came along, catching up to Pluto and took my voice, or rather; the resonance of it. How, when the Pluto leg of it felt like I was finding my voice, could this occur?
Well, here is how you can parse it and maybe adapt the scenario to one of your current themes. This Saturn Mercury transit is compelling me to align my physical voice with my inner voice or metaphysical awareness. It’s made me get singing lessons and speech pathology that are life-altering. The stressful aspect (much as we appreciate modern medical advances, cameras up your nostrils and down the throat are not pleasant) has been a fast-take on who’s there/not there. People can say what they like; going with you to scary specialist’s appointments is up there in the loyalty stakes.
It’s also meant more silence – so less chattering to people at the dog park and around. That’s weirdly relaxing. When you need to limit your talking, you become more aware of self-expression and the dialogue worth having. And my hypochondriac googling skills have become honed- only it’s empowering as it actually is a condition I can research. I also have more compassion for people I hear in shops and so on who have a hoarse or breathy voice. I used to just assume that they smoked cigarettes 24-7 or were on meth. Now they’re scared I want something from them. My smile and validation are possibly verging on an unctuous charm, like a cult recruiter.
Saturn Square Mercury Is Restructuring My Voice
I’ve learned so much about esoteric acupuncture points, the basal ganglia, throat chakras and the interplay of nerves/muscles around the throat. And, as for me, Saturn is in the 12th house of the subconscious, I am now so aware of what topics/conversations influence my breath. Finally, while nearly every ailment has an obvious culprit (possibly mold, in this case), there is also an underlying component. Every single day I do the exercises assiduously turns into a night of the most profound and poignant dreams I have ever had. And I’m a good dreamer.
It turns out that getting my voice back is not just breath awareness and better use of various muscles; it’s recovered memories and consciousness of power. It’s so Saturn-Pluto. So my new theory of aspects to your Mercury is that they can involve your literal voice. And, I think a lot of people are experiencing or processing old trauma and buried emotions via their skeletal-muscular system with Saturn conjunct Pluto in Capricorn.
That is the most extended rant for something that was meant to be a few explanatory lines after announcing Future Virgo. Still, thoughts?
