The Transition – Chiron + Uranus Upshifting The Vibe

Chiron and Uranus Changing Signs is a big deal. This upshift of vibe is The Everything of the next nine weeks. It is such massive morph that i am calling it The Transition. It is going to be THE underlying theme of all the Horoscopes and frequently addressed in the Daily Mystic emails. Even if I do not say “Chiron”, “Uranus” or “The Transition” in an actual Horoscope or recommendation, getting us all aligned with this new Zeitgeist is my prime concern du jour. Future-Ready, Grounded and Armed With Pertinent Info.

Resetting Back To Core Psyche Values

The backdrop and energy of the last seven years – eight if you count the prelude months of mid 2010 – have become SO familiar to us.  So there is inevitably some tension around this planetary morph. Depending on your sign or rising sign, you could be infused with vigour and ambition one moment, struck by nostalgia, fear or ennui the next. The persona and assumptions that you spun up to deal with the last big transition – in 2011- have no currency in the new era incoming. So you’re resetting back to Core Psyche Values, even as you face the challenge of devising the fresh approach and restructuring.

OMg after several weeks away from mystic it’s so good to come back and find this gem. I have a lot of terror about something big in my life and needing to find new ways to work with it. This makes so much sense

Have to say the past 7 years have totally and completely changed my life. Same job, same house but such a completely different life.

I might finally be seeing light on this. I’ve been re-reading Christiane Northrup’s book about menopause and it’s resonating. A couple of years since I had a period but still I am having symptoms and feeling generally ‘washed up’. It is helping me to put words to feelings, such a relief.
I’m making a few small changes, sixth house stuff mainly, some systems that will better support the way my life is now.

I’m not sure where to write this but the transition post seems the most relevant, it’s about my natal saturn in Leo challenges and my triple libra friend with (I think) moon in Leo. Even if I am wrong about his moon, just thinking that it’s there and considering my little relational crisis as a function of that is a helpful exercise. anyway i was looking up moon-saturn synastry as part of my flight of fancy, and the notes for that aspect are bloody awful. as the Saturn person, i wouldn’t wish to impose that crap on anyone’s lovely Leo… Read more »

I hope things start looking up. Chiron has packed a whallop on me, moving over my Pisces stellium on the descendant/7th house. The last three years in particular were terrible and emerging i’m on the other side almost completely alone. It has been brutal, I tried to check out early (but failed at that too). With a Saturn/moon square, my life has become very small, very barren and at an utter standstill. I would appreciate some fresh air. The bitterweetness though, knowing the relationships and connections I always dreamed of having aren’t available or I’m simply not capable of attaining… Read more »

Gosh, Uranus in Aries has been amazing. Sitting on my rising and squaring my Capricorn midheaven (with uncle Pluto), I completely retrained and reinvented myself and my career. Yep it kicked my butt, but in the best possible way. And now, with Uranus on the eve of moving into Taurus, home of my sun, venus, jupiter and three Goddess asteroids, I get a massively unexpected job offer, in the field that I’m training in. way above my pay grade. I do have a question about Chiron in Aries – I have that placement natally, and I’m wondering what kind of… Read more »

So Uranus in Taurus (8th) means it will square my natal Venus in Leo (11th)? That doesnt sound too good 🙁

Also any thoughts on Chiron entering Aries (7th). Very scared.

MissDeeMM Member

Uranus in 8h squaring Venus in 11th does not necessarily means sentimental break up.
Dunno your sentimental status.
But I would certainly prepare in advance regarding the joint money area, debts with friends (11th house) and also power struggles with friends.

Uranus in Aries certainly did a number on me regarding the exact nature of the 4th house! NOte to self: pay more attention to the stars. It was a gruelling 7 years of introspection, insights, journeying through all of my childhood, upbringing and ancestors. The Demented VIrgo Neighbour with Mars in Scorpio, is now as sweet as apple pie after 7 years of disruption and noise. He must have stopped drinking blood. I think the thing with all the aspects that are happening in my chart (that Chrysalis pinpointed exactly) are all the things that have (ever since I was little) have loved to stand around at me in a circle and hiss, you are not special. Whether it’s having an open-cut coal mine (pluto) where the foundations of my sense of security should be (IC), or a jeering crowd or some kind of Ugly Stepsister complex (saturn in Leo) or my Ian McEwan moon, ok yes i get that this is all very theatrical, but fuq it’s a real vortex sometimes… Read more »

I was thinking about Ovid and the ‘I believe’ three times. If it works for that phrase then it could work for anything. ‘I am brave’ or whatever (which is what I’ve been thinking about for myself).

Get out no way Wtf I can’t read his books. Just the plot / back cover makes me feel like I am falling into an abyss of despair and pointlessness. WOW Maybe the idea is to exorcise this artistically by giving it more of a voice. A few nights after my Chiron meltdown a few posts ago I went to go to sleep and So Many words and ideas on the theme (and the Ovid/ believe concept) were just pouring into my brain I had to sit up every few mins and write more stuff down. Ok as we are talking Ian McEwan, I ran his chart. Smarter people please chime in here – but – Intense. Quadruple thingy conj across Gem and Cancer: Sun-Uranus conj in Gem, Merc-Venus exact conj Kataka. Moon-Jupe exact conj in Sagg and opp sun. Mars in Virgo (writer signature). Merc square Neptune – I would love to get drunk w him. Mars sq moon. For me the point is so many oppositions/squares in his chart. I love his books – all so different and new. Read ‘On Chesil Beach’. Every single word of this resonates….wow! I can’t even describe it, but I guess I’m tuned in to the course of things…. thanks for this reflection! These Chiron and Uranus transits have played out in my 10th house but I’m feeling the effects and the impending change in all areas of my life, perhaps driven by 10th house stuff. Regarding core psyche values, I’ve been feeling the draw to go back to my roots, go back to my woods, for awhile now. Uranus hovering in opposition to my Sun & Neptune, plus a gaggle of other planets in Libra….. it’s been an interesting few months lol.

Thank goddess I’ve been Doing The Work – diving into the deep alchemy of transformation despite the possibility of scary monsters lurking in the depths.

Uranus has been hovering exact on my Sun- Venus for the last little while on its way out of Aries, in my 7th. I find it hard to describe in words, but it feels like a golden bubble around my home, particularly around my new studio where I have been spending every spare moment unfolding a multitude of creative projects that have been stashed in small cupboards around the house for literally years, (bordering on Hoarding). And sitting on a chair with an art book on my lap watching the fairy wrens dart around the garden. In the meantime, I… Read more »

I’ve already been moving between ambition one moment and fear/ennui the next. I’m in a big life and identity morph. Healing from stress that rendered me ill. Working for myself now. Scary but good. Spent some time last week pondering going back to the same swampy type work scenario then realized my fear-based thinking (going back to the toxic but familiar) would only hold me back. Wow this sounds a lot like a situation that I have been steeped in for the last couple of years – a toxic work situation that led to a breakdown and long recovery, gently working for myself and recently back out there with the humans again. For me the puppetmaster was Pluto sitting opposite my ascendant and Saturn in Sag (which I am), as well as that Chiron return / opposite natal Pluto & Uranus thing that many of us enjoyed. At least I think that’s where a lot of it came from. Anyway, I wanted to reach out and… Read more »

Uranus is about to leave my 2nd house, and Chiron is entering it. I’m burnt out on my high-stress, high-income job. I get interviews for new, similar jobs, but then I get declined. With each one I get a little more relieved. I think I’ll be making a major career transition. I’m deeply pondering starting or acquiring some unsexy but moderately profitable business (that doesn’t require a computer at all, lol)

I, too, am excited. When I think about Uranus in Pisces it was allll drugs and zombie romance. Obviously that’s the low Vibe and Uranus hit Aries I realized I had no idea who I was and that stuff wasn’t so fun anymore. The first part ofUranus in Aries was super painful because I was feeling it but not collaborating, and long story short I basically got forced into a rehab-like situation that ultimately led me into a journey of personal development and figuring out who is babysinclair exactly? Yes, the Transition is coming – I can feel it in my bones. The other night my Guides decided to up-armor me by sending both Turtle and Nautilus Medicine in the same dream. While this certainly did merit pause for contemplation, if I had any question at all about the intention behind that it was clarified last night when I had a dream about being stranded on an island in the middle of the Atlantic with a Cat. 5 hurricane rapidly approaching; me knowing I had to weather whatever was to come. :-/ That’s basically like my Guides straight-up saying… Read more »

“This is the gift and the curse of Pluto – life makes it physically impossible for you to stagnate…. I feel similarly; like there’s nothing I can’t handle as long as my internal world is all squared away. All the same, being good in a crisis isn’t exactly something I’d prefer to list on my resume, LOL! Though friends and family sure do appreciate it.

I still have a really clear memory of the one tornado dream I ever had. I was a young girl . Several years ago I thought more about the dream’s composition, and its timing (I was age 9 or 10), and came to think that it was a kind of notification of upheaval in home life, in other words, my parents splitting up. As a 9 year old that interpretation wasn’t available to me of course.

thanks for being a resident Pluto person on the site. I appreciate the POV and insights.

up close eagle fly-by would be AMAZING.

LiberatingVenusMM Member

Yes, there are many things we learn with age that we wish our younger selves had access to; myself included. I had no clue about dream symbolism back then either, but do remember it was a common refrain. As to being “a resident Pluto person”, LOL IDK whether to be flattered or concerned by that. But after living through what has probably been the longest chain of Pluto transits on god’s green earth, you figure it’s gotta leave some kind of mark one way or the other.

Me too! It was so flippin’ conspicuous; when do you EVER see an eagle flying that low?!? And they’re not all that common around here – some major reassurance there; especially given the vague, foreboding sense of unease the dream had left in its wake. Eagle is also a Plutonic totem – pretty apropos given what I was writing as I spotted him 🙂

Here’s hoping the transition energy will help my job application to a good position in my dream location (a location that originally crossed my radar in *drum roll* 2011). I thought it looked neat then, I visited it in 2012, and I’ve been looking for ways to relocate ever since. It’s in an area that suits my climatic preferences, it’s tremendously fertile and has loads of fresh water, it has some higher ed, wineries, and a local music scene. It’s much closer to family members than my current home, without putting me in their back pockets. I sent the application… Read more »

First of all: keeping fingers crossed for the application.

Not entirely. But let say 2011 wasn’t even as bad as 2013!
But then after that, though I had to work my ass off, I have slowly distanced my self from those bad years and also from the person that I was back then (that had in some cases put herself in some of those situations). Thanks xxx

Ok ok ok. Lots still to process here. Lots still to let go of. This has been a 4th house sweep for me and Chiron is hot on Uranus’ heels. Will Chiron act as the clean up crew after Uranus blows everything to smithereens? Been feeling that way for years now. Wish Chiron did a better job of cleaning up (where is Ceres when you need her?).

MissDeeMM Member

The past 7 years have been really tough. In various moments there have been up phases (like Jupiter in my Sun sign Gemini) but the overall vibe was like being in prison. Seriously. And it felt very lonely too. I guess the “me me me” vibe of Uranus in Aries was really forcing the personal goal + strong individuation typical of the Aries vibe. And Chiron showed no mercy in its cycle in my 7h house. One could also heal by finding true love and instead it was one painful relationship after the other and then it all stopped. Now… Read more »

We have some similar astro. I’m only now starting to see how the last 7 years form a distinct era, which I think I’m ready to move on from, but even just looking at my diary I can see I’m in a holding pattern till at least May. And it’s been a looooong winter (I think you’re in Europe too?).

I can see I am booked where I am at least until May too but that’s fine. It’s Mercury Retro season, you don’t want to rush into anything.
Plus Uranus will be sextile to my Venus as it enters Taurus so I guess I’ll know it’s on.
Seeing the past 7 years as a cycle gives a meaning and I am thankful to now know that.
Yes a very long winter indeed (writing from Italy here).
