Saturn in Capricorn 2019 Prep

Saturn in Capricorn 2019 (and for most of 2020) is going to be more potent than ever. Saturn rules self-mastery and things you can only learn with time. In just a few months, Saturn returns (as the Time God always does) to his home-constellation of Capricorn.

This renders him automatically more powerful and accessible. Saturn holds sway over self-mastery, stoicism, wisdom and the sort of things that you can only learn over the years, not in a single Uranian eureka flash. Saturn is ‘practice makes perfect’ – a thousand plies or Jiu Jitsu drills to make it all look easy. It is the long-way-around that you don’t even realize is a decent strategy until you finally have a vantage point high enough to see what happened to the people who took the short cut.

Saturn is diet discipline, not pills, day in day out exercises not fads, saving not credit. Saturn is your mentor when you have a plan. Along with the New Earth Era, Saturn in Capricorn 2019 is going to be a swing back to values that our grand or great grandparents would have recognized; local food, bunkering down, saving for the rainy season, cooking chez us and taking the time to build quality everything.

Saturn in Capricorn 2019 Is Good For Grown-Ups

In some cases, it will feel like we will have to be the grown-ups because the governments sure as hell aren’t acting like they’ve got a basic common sense/the ability to balance a budget without doing something nuts. Culturally, think a la a higher profile for “cool elders.”  The Maye Musks and Lauren Hutton’s of the fashion world. Or, a more nuanced approach to aging in general. Saturn in his home constellation is good for people woke people who are beyond their Chiron Return or second Saturn Return.

People will be craving time-honored wisdom over info quickly grabbed off social media. Saturn is the Time God and in Capricorn, he strengthens the style of perspective that you can only get with time.

Are you feeling it? Ready to align with the coming Saturnine Vibe? It’s going to augment the Capricorn area of your chart and make your natal Saturn energy more potent. The time to muse upon this is now. What is your Saturn plan?

I usually look at the placement of Saturn in a chart as the part of the chart where a person feels either fearful or weak. There is great hesitancy and even anxiety in the area of life where Saturn sits – by sign, house and aspects. So Saturn in Aries or the first house can manifest as shyness or a lack of boldness or risk taking. They can crippled by social anxiety etc. With Saturn placed there, it takes real effort and much work on oneself to overcome the fear and to come into one’s own, so to speak. Saturn… Read more »

I have Saturn, Uranus, & Neptune in Cap in my 7th- and with Jupiter moving into Scorpio, where I keep my Sun, Venus, Mercury, Pluto, and a few asteroids- I’m prepping for a whole new era of career and relational transformation, like the dawn after a long, long night. But that’s just my conjecture! Idk.

Saturn in Cancer. I’m a saggitarius, so I’m really looking forward to Saturn going into Capricorn! Prepping my lifestyle, finances, work and leisure habits so that the transition will be smooth. And, getting rid of the last of the Qi Vampires and habits I have.

I”m really grateful for the time I’ve been spending having Saturn in my sign. It has been difficult, but the lessons I’ve learned have been fabulous and I can see how my life is better for them.

Somehow, I feel like this, and Uranus in Taurus, will be really good. Even though….. Saturn will be soon transiting my Venus in early Cap and then going on to transit my 7th house and eventually join Pluto already transiting there. …………Hahahahahahaha! Should be pretty sobering for relationships! I haven’t had a relationship or even a lover in so long, this could just bring more of the same..? I’m not apprehensive. It couldn’t get any worse, right? Or maybe this could finally manifest a relationship, albeit one that is not too exciting, maybe just secure in some way? Or, maybe… Read more »

Thanks! Interesting….I have been going to a lot of psychotherapy, hypnotherapy and doing a lot of self development work and self care the past few years so I think if I did draw in a partner it would definitely be a healthier and more conscious relationship than I’ve ever had in my entire life. I’ve broken through a few of my deep patterns and it would be interesting to try out and practice the new me in relationship to another person.

I am so fuqn sick of Pluto going thru my 6th and 7th. I got the bitch from hell when my friend entered Cap. Yeah there is a lot to say for the shit that is pluto + Saturn in full force on a zone of chart…that sounds like an awful experience. It’s like Pluto strips you of fuqing everything and taunts you to survive on pure mettle, question everything to the bone and Saturn is like here is the bare stoic minimum to operate, practice the basics until you go insane. Saturn into Cap keeps it in my 9th for a bit longer but it’s tracking it’s way up to my MC, which I guess is when I start to really work. Looking forward to its conjunction with Pluto in 2019 as it will be with 1 degree of my Lilith in Cap, dead set trining my Mars in Taurus. When Saturn was going through my 3rd house (Virgo), I joined a public speaking club. It was a fun, daggy little safe space with a mixed bag of members , to just get a grip on the basics – and, yes, we learnt how to structure our speaking… Which – thank you Saturn – gave me something to work with and frame my speaking around, and that helped to manage the nerves

We could choose the topic. Depending on the task or whatever that week sometimes there was another job too e.g. open the meeting, or whatever. It was ages ago – choosing was difficult too – part of the learning process was to work out the audience level, a suitable subject, what would be interesting or how to make it interesting (probably a lot like teaching haha)

With Pluto having transformed my sense of self and spirituality and now my whole inner sense of being, I’m looking forward to Saturn coming along and helping me organize and really put these new insights to work. *crosses fingers tightly*

23 degrees Capricorn; 22Cap46’34” if you want precision right down to the exact arcsecond. It’s in January 2020 for that extra high-fiber Capri-corny crunch. 😛 No, really though – Grain Goddess Ceres is gonna be all up in that too, as well as the Sun & Mercury. Thankfully, by my calculations this should be a One Hit Wonder (though it’s sure to be a monster) – Saturn makes only a single pass over Pluto rather than retrograding over the offending spot repeatedly.

This is my biggest aim at the moment but I don’t have any love prospect to be all saturnine with.
