Honey, He’s A Libra

Filed in Libra

“Just ignore him, honey, he;s a Libra,”

In the context of a 90s movie about a possessed board game, this is an interesting bit of advice.  Ignore the Libra because he has clearly let rip with one of the most infuriating “tools” in the Libra man’s collection; passive aggression while swiftly evacuating so that the other person cannot respond.

Or is it “ignore the Libra” because everyone knows that if there is a possessed board game to be found in the basement and played – thus opening a portal into another dimension – it would not be a Libra male leading the proceedings. It would be a Gemini, Pisces or Sagittarius.

Thoughts?

Yes, Yes & YES! My Dad & my guy are ‘Charming’ Librans, who play this game on a regular basis! Ignore & don’t bite 😉 I’m a Virgo…

Ignore him, he’s a Libra. Meaning you can not make him happy or satisfy him. Ever. Your every action is wrong and met with a passive aggressive whiplash. Okay, I sound very pass agg towards Libra men myself. Yes, it’s probably impossible to meet the standards of a Libra male in the terms of beauty, style and overall half-goddessness. We’re you the hot girlfriend, the celebrity best friend or the supermodel they’re cheating with, they always seem to be looking for more. Something cooler, something more interesting, a better party altogether. But on the other hand, they have the best… Read more »

Interesting this has been identified as a thing. The whole of my twenties I was with one libra I loved so much. He made me believe we were meant to be together and we would be together forever.. Terribly romantic.. I’d never been so happy as I was at that point in my life. We got engaged. But after eight years.. it became slowly torturous, where he basically couldn’t make up his mind if he wanted to be with me. He was obviously being tempted by other woman (he was in a successful band) and would break up with me… Read more »

Unfortunately all of my experiences with Libra dudes have been: married/taken and trying to cheat with me. I’m sure there are amazing libra men somewhere out there, but this has been my experience – consistently.

That was my only Libran male experience (Aries here, so have trouble with Libra to begin with)
-and on top of it all, he waited until AFTER the first date/kiss to inform me of his status. Boy was I mad
So I basically used him for a summer until I was tired of him, then dumped him by text
and was not the least sorry.

A Libran friend of mine (in the music industry) has been pursuing me for over a decade. Lucky I’m not attracted to him otherwise it would have been a disaster. During Jupiter in Libra he was dating two women at the same time. One young enough to be his daughter. He eventually settled on the older one. But i couldn’t believe while he was dating them he was STILL trying it on with me. I said “are you insane!!!!!” No thanks!!! As if i would find a cheater appealing in any way. Ugh. Yes to pisces and other dimensions. My daughter once visited my flat, which was full of all kinds of shit at the time, and exclaimed “OMG it looks like Jumanji in here”.

Ah. Yes. Libra ex-hubby. Still charming and can make me laugh. The lack of ability to discuss ANYTHING may have been our poison. Seriously . He could not broach conflict. Deflect. Tell me what he thought needed to hear to go away. Not make real effort to communicate. I want things out so we can deal and just move on. I much and prefer the Aries fire vibe and smile at their bravado and tantrums. Don’t get me wrong, Libras are very charming and like to look good. My boyfriend is a Libra, I’m a Pisces. I have had to step up my decision-making because he has a ton of Libra planets and it’s so so hard for him (and I’m Cap rising so I can do the leadership thing if I have to). He really sees all decisions and angles. We have a moon-mercury double whammy so we get each other, not sure we’d be happy together otherwise. Hmmm libra males…I have been surrounded by lots of libra females both hi and low versions, but the males are a different story. I had to draw a do not contact again energy barrier with one last year which was best for both of us. It was a friends not friends melodrama of epic and annoying proportion. Another one went fleeing as in the first meme after let’s just call it a Scorpionic experience gone wrong lol. I do not think they bring out my best self but I’m open to being wrong on this

Oh wow. Those signs (Gemini, Pisces or Sagittarius) make sense!! I was recently ghosted for the first time EVER by someone I was intimate with – Pisces sun / Cancer moon / Saggo rising, mars (retro) in Libra. It’s cowardly, cruel and rude to not dignify someone with a response or some kind of closure; an acknowledgment that you existed. I don’t even need a reason. A simple ” it’s been nice knowing you, all the best” will suffice. ANYTHING but silence!!! Sure, sometimes my Saggo moon likes to disappear but i ALWAYS speak my mind before I leave. •… Read more »

Ugh, sorry to hear you were ghosted! It’s such a crappy feeling….really painful sometimes. 🙁 It’s so rude, yet so normalized now. Not ok! I still have a grudge against a Mars (retro) in Libra guy….Mars in Libra, bad enough, right? But retrograde?! I read that can make a person really deceptive and not able to be faithful. Anyway, this guy didn’t ghost me, but sort of did in a weird way. He would have if I didn’t (stupidly) keep in touch with him. Ugh……sounds awful and so aggravating! What you’ve described seems to be the format for a lot of dating ‘relationships’ these days, especially with people you meet online. Cricket seems lime an air sign kind of sport. Iron fist in the velvet glove. Librans can operate well in shark-infested cut-throat waters, take the wins and losses as they come, glide while seeming like they are too circumspect to act, then – RUSSSHHHH – illuminated sword of fairness in their hands, cut through the cut-throat strategies and bullshit, while never losing grace or quiet righteousness, or seeming ease. Yeh Chappelli was just before my time but I watched a lot of cricket there in the late 70s through to the late 80s. Definitely qualified as a tragic! The wicket back then was absolutely screaming but in later years gave more to the seamers than the quicks.

In the video release for “Jokerman” he only opens his eyes, defiantly, at the end of the clip.

This dripping with irony. Just about all of those musos assembled, and many not there, would esteem him as the biggezt influence on modern music. And a large majority as a personal influence.

And here he is being a curmudgeonly reticent.

He originated ‘farm-aid’ from this event and then paenned the Boss in “Tweeter and Monkeyman”, which along with “Jokerman”, “Every Grain of Sand” & “Brownsville Girl” stand as his 4 best songs from the 80s. His weakest decade.

Yet most musos would give an arm and a leg to have a decade as ‘good’ as that.

milleunanotte
milleunanotte

The problem with showing greatness is that you will always be judged against the great moments, and everything less will pale.

Yet he created that music.

I feel like that is part of what you see in his face, a response to that.

Jokerman
Jokerman

Yet he produced albums like “Time Out of Mind” (1997), “Love and Theft” (2001), “Modern Times” (2006) & “Tempest” (2011). All critically acclaimed works of art. One of them, l think “Tempest”, made him the oldest person to have world-wide #1 album.

He has always disdained the limelight. Checkout his interview with the “Time” (or “Newsweek”) journo. Famously told in “The Ballad of a Thin Man”.
And his reticence with the hapless (Aussie) “60 Minutes” reporter.

Plus his total absence from the Hippy period. They treated him like some deity. His response? He Mutabled them.

My heart aches listening to Time Out of Mind. He made that album at the same stage of life as l am in now. In between the 3rd NN return the coming 5th of Jup and the 2nd of Saturn.

Dylan is in mbti terms an infp. And we infps crave authenticity. And i didnt know until i got older that band aid was sort of “crap” and ineffective. a show put on for the audience that was feel-good on the outside but didnt deliver as much as it wanted to. I suspect Dylan might have gotten himself roped into this and just ended up grumpy-catting this because it was against his value system in some way.

More so than Fixed or Mutable.

What about the Sun, Moon or Asc being conjunct the SN? That’d be an energy to deal with.
