The Election Day Astro

Filed in ZODIAC FASHION

Eighties Trumps

“I love those Eighties soap operas,” said my Gemini daughter, a keen fan of Dynasty and Falconcrest.

This was not a soap opera i said. It’s Donald Trump with his wife, in the 80s.

But this whole election process has been like a surreal soap opera, increasingly difficult to parody.  I am by no means across the whole thing but one thing is clear – we don’t need a Donald Trump sex tape.   Or do we? It’s a blur of weird.

People who are great at political astrology have been flinging predictions around all over the place but it’s hard – Clinton’s birth time is in doubt and the general astral vibe is super in flux.  Trump has his Sun progressed onto his Leo Ascendant – regardless of the democratic outcome, he is likely to want to keep on a reigning.

Jupiter in Libra (broadly, a sign of ‘women’) in aspect to Saturn and Uranus favors a female taking the most powerful position on the planet. And, FYI, as far as a non-resident of America can be pro a USA candidate, i was favoring Bernie Sanders until  he was out of contention.

But it is SO Uranian and strange – a disrupt vibe is buzzing around the planet.  Trump may be deplorable but he also qualifies as a disrupt dude.  I also find it weird that he referred to “draining the swamp” just as Neptune aligns with the South Node. DOES he have an astrologer?   And aside from the obviously serious geopolitical over tones, there was something So classically Gemini-V.s. Scorpio about those debates, the Scorpio totally prepped and zinging out truth grenades, the Gemini darting about in free association mode.

Election Day itself is a bit bats – the Moon Void in Aquarius and moving toward Neptune/the South Node.  Mars traveling from Capricorn to Aquarius. Jupiter in catalyst mode to Pluto in Capricorn. For mine, it is too weird and too close to call.  Whomever is elected next week, we are living through evolutionary times, with Jupiter square Pluto and opposite Uranus for the next year being a sort of post Zap Zone facilitator.

Woah “Too close to call” was the big phrase through most of this night.

Uranus is throwing in that card?

an an american, i find this entire campaign disturbing on such a deep level i haven’t the words to fully describe it. i have already looked into immigration policies of several countries, and frankly no one really wants us unless we have substantial amounts of money and advanced degrees. people have enough of their own problems without taking on a hot mess of displaced americans. i had an actual conversation yesterday with someone expressing the urgency of getting a passport before the baton is passed in january to ensure passage out of country. i do my best not to live… Read more »

Yes: I too looked into emigration & my hopes were dashed as I’m disabled. Nobody wants the disabled: typically we’re not big money makers, & we want things like shelter & healthcare. Back against the wall story of my life. I’ll go down fighting, tho. Keep my Mars in Scorpio & Chiron in Aries fit.

Feel such sorrow to read this.. I dearly hope things can improve for the better for you in the Americas and for us all dear friends. You walk such vibrant, fertile soil, but many plants of all types take root easily, no? There is power beneath your feet though. Sadly it seems Australian authorities only accept mafia millionaires and their freshly minted money. A cash bubble to support the fabricated land bubble.. Neptune has a lot to answer for. (In the Land of Bubble, the Bubble-eyed are King.) While I have sent healing to places being bombed (the ultimate peace… Read more »

Someone just posted on my FB feed a how-to migrate to Australia with skilled occupations needed list.. http://www.sbs.com.au/yourlanguage/hindi/en/article/2016/05/17/want-migrate-australia-2016-17-skilled-occupations-list-sol-announced Saw another article that immigrating to Canada now only takes three years down from six. Food for thought, but don’t know how truly practical a solution this would be for me or for many people. I moved to England for awhile, and all the visa/immigration stuff was difficult. At the moment I’m just glad I live in California… Anyway, the main thing is that I am absolutely blown away by the election result and it makes me feel like I am naive… Read more »

Third party disrupt is also possible given the weirdness of the USA electoral system. Remember there are two female candidates

Lol Melania in PA today, theme song “Age of Aquarius” Be scared: “In Berwyn on Thursday, Melania Trump walked on stage to cheers and the song “The Age of Aquarius” from the musical Hair. In a speech that lasted about 15 minutes, she talked about her background as a “young entrepreneur” as a model in the fashion industry, and about becoming a U.S. citizen in 2006, which she called “the greatest privilege in the world.””

ugh, honestly , would it be too strong a statement to go to the polls and slash my wrists just to bleed all over the ballot box? They have forced into this delusion of choice, gun to the head or jump off a cliff. Which one is more likely to bring on a rev0lu1i0n? I’ll for for them.

I feel like it all comes down to that: “Jupiter in catalyst mode to Pluto in Capricorn.” Jupiter in Libra, sign of Lady Justice, arm-wrestling Pluto in Saturn’s house. These final days leading up to the election are like I’m driving down a barren highway & up ahead I can see ambulance & police lights: an accident. Have that dreadful feeling that people on the scene are dead. A few more miles & I’ll be there. Hope I don’t recognize any of the cars involved.

Interesting post, Mystic Medusa. Thank you. I agree it’s too close to call – I like the astrologer who predicted that whatever happens we’ll regret it! A bit like post-Brexit fever here in the UK. I didn’t realise that Trump has Sun progressed into his 1st house – wow, that’s powerful! He’s also Jupiter Libra so Jupiter is on his side. Hillary is Scorpio and we’re in Scorpio season but without an accurate birth time it’s tricky to predict accurately. One point I have to disagree on though is that Libra is about women – I know you did say… Read more »

Let’s not ignore the fact that Clinton wore an ear piece during the debates so she could be prompted/informed/fed the facts by her team. I agree on one thing – both candidates are utterly deplorable. It somehow seems rightly ironic that the country that spawned Dynasty, Falconcrest and the rest of that crazy/fascinating genre should see it materialize in its politics. But then truth is stranger than fiction…for real! Thank god I can observe the mess from afar. I keep my fingers crossed than in my country, considered by Americans as a Big Yawn, is so boring that its political… Read more »

Wearing an earpiece is the just the least of her crimes. Stealing the money donated for the Haitians in their time of crisis, letting people die, children crushed go without medical attention..
But people can’t believe someone would do that. So they decide to ‘like’ her anyway.

The limit of people’s ability cope with horror defines their opinions and beliefs. Not the truth.

Jokerman

Stealing money from a disaster wracked poor country!?! That is warped.

I bet she is glad she is up against trumpet features. Like how on earth has he closed the gap on her???
She’d be wiped by most other contenders.

If the GOP had got a woman up against HRC, she’d would be hit for 6.

Just did a piece on the Saturn/Uranus Trine (which is pretty much the dominant astro-feature of 2017) and was actually mulling over some of the geopolitical implications. Setting Trump/Hillary aside for a moment, I think that we’ll see quite a bit of legislative reform going on as a result of this influence; particularly during the months of May & November when this trine is most active. This aspect is generally favorable toward (and by that simply I mean that it would be easier to pass) laws that would emphasize quote-unquote social responsibility (and before you cheer about that, please pause… Read more »

If the DNC debacle isn’t proof enough of how this shit is rigged, the two party system is very broken and needs to be dismantled, and that what we have is only an *illusion* of democracy, I don’t know what will open peoples’ eyes….

Seriously guys, if these two “winners” (Trump/Hillary) are the cream of our political crop, we’re in big fuqing trouble!

I am going to be a bit pragmatic on this. It is unlikely that Trump will win. I went to a press lunch a few days ago with Tom Switzer, who has a politics show on Radio National and the data for Trump is not looking good. It’s more than likely that the Republicans will be in the wilderness for awhile, because Mr T has alienated a large percentage of the vote, which is educated Republican women. Populism has not won the day, a strong candidate it key. On a more astro level, I am looking at Lilith in Scorpio.… Read more »

Fear or love- lots of personal economic downward spirals. Easy to be high minded and liberal clutching your $5 organic coconut latte with a SV 401K. Try finding work as 3rd gen Rustbelt baby.

Is it ok to take money from despots and big oil to do good? That’s the Clinton dilemma. Trump is unabashed in his greed- prejudice, no walking on egg shells. He blurts stuff out Uranus anyone like a greaser teen.

Praying Jupiter in Libra and Saturn in Saggo gives us the bridge over our fears, hate and despair!

Mystic, it has been a small mercy to me at least, that you have avoided wading into the cesspool of this election campaign to any great extent.
Politics and religion should never be discussed in polite company , and you are a classy and clever girl.

Intuitively I’m vibing a Trump presidency. That’s what I feel is coming. But I do not think it will be smooth in either case. No matter who wins, they will likely have only one term and chaos will ensue on multiple levels. There was something I read in Mountain Astrologer a few months back about the astrology for 2020 and things are going to get very… interesting (to put it nicely).

Virgo EllieMM Member

I agree with you Irock. It is going to be very bumpy as usual for a new President. Especially for someone like Trump. It will be a long time to correct the “interesting” response in 2020.

I felt it too but was in denial, trying really HARD to be positive. My friends said I was attracting negative energy but I could feel the hatred and fear in the air. Very troubling times indeed.

I was wondering what the astro was for this. It’s a very strange time all of esp geo political for us in Europe connected to UK as well. Like when you live through something so weird you know the only sense and real accountability will be the people in the future looking back on the past to measure its full impact.

I just want it to be over already. We all have election-fatigue and some level of PTSD from all this. I blocked out day-to-day details about Trump quite awhile back as it was just too toxic. I already know he’s a jackass, I don’t need to be continually reminded with daily examples. And here in California we will also be voting on marijuana legalization, plastic bags, and condoms in porn…….right on cue. There are so many propositions to vote on, and state and city officials, that they sent each registered voter a, literally, 300 page voter ‘guide’. It’s a total… Read more »

Jarring election indeed, but making light of PTSD is disrespectful to those that have it, and especially due to people in their lives who have played out their personality and power using some of the same tactics as Donald Trump.

I do get your sentiment to move to Canada, though, as I already live here. I grew up in a border town (USA/Canada) and I have to admit, this election is hurting us up here too.

Apparently gold is strong right now, this is apparently ‘because Trump’ is causing concern sez the local rag, which if looked at alchemically is quite amusing given his Leo progressed Sun, lol. (If anything seems the deep corruption of the establishment that Hill&Bill represent is destabilising to anything remotely resembling law & justice, two things required for economic stability to be possible).
