So Anyway…Mars in Aquarius

Filed in Uncategorized

sci-fi

So what’s up peeps?  Mars in Aquarius is ALWAYS weird although, granted, this particular Mars in Aquarius (it just began) feels a whole lot weirder than most.

I have no super pertinent astrological thoughts/theories to add to the intense discussion of the USA election results, apart from my ongoing observation that Pluto in Capricorn was always going to be a trip, especially around geopolitics and the economy, pet themes of Capricorn after all.

It has made me re-think Uranus in Taurus from 2018 and i am definitely going to be updating subscribers with some fresh thoughts on that seven year astral passage.  My earlier thoughts on it were along the lines of an ecological revolution, major tech awesome applied to climate science and so forth. But now, perhaps more radical protectionism and deglobalization. The Zeitgeist has been moving toward anti-establishment leaders – i thought more in the mold of Bernie Sanders.

In terms of the new USA leaders, it is the 2nd Gemini – Mike Pence – who personally freaks me out more. But i shall parse all this with a view to re-framing Uranus in Taurus…You know what though? Blockchain and Robotics – the robolution or whatever we are calling it is – definitely going to be underlying Pluto in Aquarius from 2024.

Phew. But Mars in Aquarius is moving into alignment with Jupiter in Libra – a broadly visionary aspect that supports big thinking, innovators and unconventional, amazing relationships. Regardless of your feelings about the recent political events, you can stay rad, take care of business and continue to evolve your own practice of Awesome in whatever style you are most aligned with.

This Gemini never imagined she’d be so bummed about 2 Geminis in power. 🙁 Of course, Bush was also a Gemini (the elder), so maybe Geminis + politics = bad. But…JFK.

Also, beyond these two polarising figures into the world of cycles, Martin Armstrong predicted a peak in the cycle of government for 2015 and the beginning of civil unrest to follow “A peak in domestic activity should appear in the 2017-2018 time slots but that will not be the end. It appears we will extend into 2020 before seeing any sort of a reversal of fortune… Even the fall of Communism that began with the civil uprising in China in 1989 was right on target. “Mars in Aquarius is ALWAYS weird” Ahahahaha …ahhhhaahahaha. OMG. I was born with Mars in Aqua and it’s right up close to my Midheaven. I’ve always pushed every button of those around me. Mars in Aquarius: when the going get’s tough-the tough meditate. Perhaps this is the end of globalisation and sectioning off into Tribes, self sustaining groups. Individuality by clans. A de-evolution. Disengage by taking particular care of ones-self, staying centred and calm during this erratic weather. And mentioning weather, Leonard Cohen died 7th November. Said two days after his last record release ‘had enough now time to go reaching for hands’ (not an exact quote-a Saggi thing), he wrote to Marianne as she was dying from cancer in another country. Mars in Aquarius pro tip to ppl in the streets protesting Trump’s democratically elected presidency: knock it off. You’re doing exactly what we feared Trumpets would do if Hillary was elected AND you’re giving the future Trump Admin reasons to criminalize our right to dissent. Work smart: organize an end to the electoral college, an end to Citizens United, put pressure on the Dem Party to adopt a truly progressive platform for 2020, stand with journalists who are being kept at arm’s length by Trump, promote diversity safety & tolerance in your hoods, etc. If you really, really need to… Read more »

Mars in Aquarius & main stream news has never been more of a propaganda machine. Saturn literally = wall. Strip interpretation way back to Astrology 101 and any keyword you find related to Saturn will be things like “wall”, “barrier” “blockage”, “protection”, “impediment”, and “obstacle”. Saturn in Sagittarius literally concerns Border Security and addressing the immigration (Sagittarius) “problem” (Saturn). A Saturn transit through the 1st house of a person tends to bring more “definition” (also a Saturn word) to the body – you may be working out, starting to see age lines appear, and generally losing soft curves in favor of leaning out. You become “harder”. Apply that “definition” to a nation and you are… Read more »

How does Saturn in Sagg over ASC suggest the wall, im curious? I’d imagine it would be more of a reflective truth seeking pursuit of the country reinventing itself, maybe cleaning up after the party a bit. Taking care of whats been overlooked (the red states) while still having aspirations for and commitment to social integrity (“truth”).
But Im still a newbie at this astrology work, so interested in your take on it.

I’ll respectfully disagree that “love is stronger than hate” is a pseudo intellectual whitewashed ideology. It is a spiritual realization, albeit one that is not easy to come to without long periods of spiritual contemplation and experience, so I agree with you that it is not usually a go to response for most people. In a 2party system 35% of ppl are ‘rusted-on’ supporters to both sides. The parties fight for the middle 30%.

Yes I think it’s important to consider the (I guess) dystopian opportunities in outer planet changes as much as the ideal stuff. Uranus in Taurus makes me also think of the Borg, bodies connected by technology and centrally controlled. Fixed earth, technology, The People en masse. Also given this will be opposite Jupiter in scorp in a year or two, maybe some kind of boost to more cohesive tech enterprise around mass surveillance and social control. When Jupiter sextiles Pluto in Capricorn and that forms a trine (? Timing ) to uranus/toro could be interesting. Options I guess.

Yeah, that is what I had been thinking as well. As scary as Trump is, his victory does mean that those left behind in recent decades have a voice – and they need their voice heard. My fear of course is that this will embolden fascist demagoguery worldwide, and unleash forces that we can’t contain. But if the rest of us stay as engaged as we all can, and strive to hold the centre, perhaps we can get through this to a better place. At least that’s what I need to do, for my children and my grandchildren, and for… Read more »

There’s a pic circulating of Klansmen in full gear marching thru a North Carolina city the morning after Trump was elected. Yes, the work we still need to do is getting Real Clear! Keep your heads tight, everyone.

This is so true. Even here in Ireland I can see in the last 24 hours people deciding that talk is cheap and we need to act on the things we profess to care about. All because of the fear that the unthinkable happened in US

Great analysis. I think Jup in Libra was Hillary and the buoyant optimism of a female relevant figure (she’s a lawyer too, Libra is the Justice sign too) that crossed path of Uncle Pluto in Cap. But between Uncle Pluto in ruthless Cap and Jup in idealistic Libra, I truly believe that in a square Pluto will always win. We can use both though. The “airy” quality of Jup to lift ourselves up and expand our ideals and the earthly “you are not getting out of this until you have learned to stand for your self the hard way” Saturninan… Read more »

i absolutely agree. i hear a lot of talk in the new age community about being love and ascension, etc. it’s easy to hold that space when things are going your way. the challenge is to continue to hold the space of love and engage in radical proactive change when things are diametrically opposed to your liking. this is a game changer and a real motivator. i see the fire in people’s hearts already. let’s hope it shifts from fear and anger into passion, courage, and action on the physical plane. so we stay rad, soldier on and express gratitude… Read more »

“evolve your own practice of Awesome”
I swear I had a major ideology shift about my own direction and past “beliefs/attitudes” that plagued me all summer. It coincided with the the time Mars went in to Aqua. (opposing my Mars in Leo). Had nnothing to do with the election.
Made a decision that has been brewing but is so unlike my usual “soldier on” ways. I hope it is right for me but it has been in evolution phase for a while.

Re: USA election. Both parties are guilty of trying to keep the establishment in place and their own power bases, pandering to people instead of championing true empowerment of the people. I’m so sick of the rhetoric of career politicians. Some people voted for the Independent candidate to try to get enough votes for federal funding in the next election for the party. They felt that that is where their vote would count most. And, wow, Mystic. Maybe the current situations with the US overthrow following Brexit was not what you predicted but big establishment Busting? , Spot On!

I’m Aqua Sun, so hoping Mars in Aqua boosts my energy levels! ….hope it doesn’t make me more angry than I already am, though! Yeah, more worried about Pence, too. ‘Conversion therapy’…..seriously?!?! SO many steps backward we took yesterday…… : ( So yeah, no one can impeach or assassinate Mr. T, ok? ‘Cause that other guy is definitely worse! I just got a part-time holiday retail job at a cool furniture store. This will be something new, never done this type of work. Will be crazy to be in there over the holidays, but I’m up for it. Ahoy! Yes. I need this mars in Aqua as much as my poor, dry garden needs some rain.
Hmm.. a summertime job in a completely new environment.. sounds absolutely terrific.
I love surreal jobs, have had a few where I feel like I’m acting out some role in another dimension.. a little like our new Trumpster.. Mine were fun and inconsequential where as Mr Orange Is Not The New Black is.. well, fucking mind blowing.

have been loving your daily scopes in regards to mars in aqua. i have the placement in my natal chart, but as a mars square pluto peep i’ve tended to focus on the square and not the signs. i can feel my social justice super powers activating. mars is in my 2nd house and i’ve taken MASSIVE comfort in obsessively googling self-care listicles this week.

Weird swamp sn memories floating in and out of my consciousness. Memories of my badass years and suoer creativity. My past self is speaking to my present self. When restrictiveness ups its head, art and creativity surges…so i expect to see more performance art, films and challenging music forms. Im feeling 80s resurgence..and that was before the election. I’m Aqua rising with pallas conjunct my rising and lillith, juno in close proximity. Pence is the Anithesis of Civil Rights. Archenemy #1. Fruit loops Christian Extremist. Like sharia law but with a bible. His “religion” the law of the land. A daesh wannabe. His state, Indiana? Terrible heroin epidemic, economically wasted, lax gun laws, high incarceration, little to no healthcare for women, & gays not welcome. Believes in conversion therapy. Mike Pence.

Yes. I’ve been having *many* Bush-Cheney era flashbacks since Trump-Pence won. More PTSD herbal remedies stat! I said to a friend, this is just like Bush-Cheney but Worse. I never thought I’d say that…

Time for my medicine! 🙂

I feel the same. I was so disgusted by the Bush/Cheney years, and the war, and all the liberties taken away during that time in the name of ‘homeland security’, etc., that I moved to Europe towards the end of it.

But this, this seems already that it will be even worse…. I think our country is on its way to being dismantled, breaking apart. It’s not sustainable as it is and in the way it’s going..

Me too, Mystic! I woke up and googled “impeachment” but it seems you have to commit crimes when in office – not sure what will happen with his ongoing law suits. He probably will commit new crimes in office, but I hope not because I am more afraid of Pence than Trump.

I had the same conversation with Google, and I “third” your assertion regarding Number 2 (Austin Powers, anyone?). The good news for now? We haven’t made it to inauguration yet. I still have some hope. I don’t know what could happen…but he is not president YET.

I have only taken one look at Pence and that was yesterday during the “Yay we won” speech and the guy creeped me out. There was a scene when he thanked his “lovely wife” looking at her and she just stared blankly elsewhere.

Then, watching the same “Yay” speech by Trump, I can say I do perfectly understand why people voted him. That stuff was so spot on for his target audience. Not only for what he said, but how it was presented.

He’s a great showman I’ll give him that. I strongly suspect Pence is going to stab him in the back and then take the spotlight though. Sleep with one eye open Drumpfy!
