The Stone Age Tarot

The Tarot Of The Origins

Sergio Toppi, an Italian Libra, created The Tarot of the Origins. It is uniquely themed around the Neolithic or “Stone Age” era that bought us Stonehenge. His Jupiter-Neptune conjunction (visionary artistic concepts, unique ideas) energy flows through the Tarot of the Origins.

Beliefs from this time are fascinating, but we know little about them because these people did not usually keep records. Their cave drawings and stone circles reveal knowledge of astronomy and star lore that technically, they should not have had.

Their lives were shorter than ours, and their society valued brute strength and fertility above other aspects. Yet, as The Tarot of the Origins depicts, they observed omens and tried to live in tune with the cycles of nature. Stonehenge, for example, was built on a super-hub of ley lines. Indigenous Australians call them songlines and other cultures, dragon lines. They’re measurable by druids and engineers alike.

Sadly, Stonehenge is left “un-tuned.”  A council of historians has apparently demanded that rocks pushed over by Christians remain toppled. To honor the historical narrative or to keep this magical vortex un-charged?

The Tarot hack is GENIUS! Love the 12 card spread for New Moons, but as a tarot novice this has made love spreads so much clearer and freakishly accurate.

Was just wondering, could the same be done for other types of questions? eg. Career would be 2nd, 6th and 10th?

Surprised why the ***11th*** should be read for a relationship. Would think the 8th and/or 10th would be more relevant?

After having lost interest in Tarot (I Ching preferred nowadays) THIS Tarot of Origins looks like my kind. LOve the art work and shall delve deeper around this book and pack as it excites me. A rare feat in this blisteringly cold winter. Read somewhere that one enjoys the season one is born in. I just wither in winter and start to regenerate when the Jasmine blooms. The i fill every available vase with it in celebration of Spring. August 2 is called Candlemas -Return of the Light when i have an outdoor fire pit to finish off the last… Read more »

When kataka and I first met we started drawing our own card set. Not to match the tarot, we decided on the no. of cards and the names and meanings would become evident as we drew them. We started nearly 20 years ago and then stopped, got busy doing stuff. Last week I say to kataka .. Hey, you wouldn’t know where those drawings are, our card set ? Now I would have lost them years ago but she knew where they were exactly. She goes to one of her totally out of control storage cupboards and magically pulls them… Read more »

“also find that readings make more resonance when done during the Moon-Neptune conjunction”

My birthday is tomorrow–solar return technically today though–and moon neptune is currently conjunct–just did site tarot and got the Chariot in the 1st house–aka relative to Kataka–WHICH IS MY RISING–seriously

Beautiful! My new favorite deck is “the Wild Unknown” tarot–also expecting “The Ghetto Tarot” soon.

Beautiful images. Love the tarot! Tarot is personal and images help trigger the subtle perception of interpreting the meaning. This looks like a lovely set.

Between the Oracle and Tarot the coaching hacks have been immensely helpful in navigating during a huge transition. I’m noting the patterns. I especially appreciate the loving practical advise and occasional bitch slaps of “wake up calls” these little readings offer…

Lovely illustrations~!

The site tarot has been SO SCARILY BANG ON and BEAUTIFUL I can’t even deal. I keep getting THE SAME CARDS.

It nearly moves me to tears of joy.

Same! they have been so accurate recently, even though their messages contradicted my (faulty) “intuition”…it’s been really spooky/energising/mind blowing…. 😀

Agreed! I can’t believe there would be such resonance with on online click-and-read spread, but it is truly always pertinent and dead-on.

I love this Toppi deck, though I remember not feeling it “tarot enough” years ago. My smaller mind.

Me too. For two years same cards, lol. Guess I’m on the right path to success but damn, talk about taking the scenic route… 😛

This deck reminds me of the Alan Watts quote that we do not come into the world, we come out of it. Beautiful.

That’s the third Alan Watts reference I’ve heard this week. I probably should re read The Joyous Cosmology, it’s staring at me from the bookshelf. I think one of the positive things that’s happening right now is the more open discussion about drugs. Feels like ‘the war on drugs’ is being slowly debunked by the serious scientific work going on in labs around the world, and the incredible results they are having on curing chronic physical and mental disorders. Turns out Ketamine can cure chronic depression with one dose. MDMA is speeding up the recovery of Post Traumatic stress patients.… Read more »

YES. An Orange Sunshine would certainly clean out the accumulated cobwebs and some erroneous thinking i’ve absorbed over the last 5 years.

Appreciate the tarot hack info. I often get a ‘call to action’ of some sort in a house – e.g. 4th – that doesn’t seem to directly relate to my Q (in a way I can understand from within the situ) so will have a think about these things…

Thanx for the head’s up Pi on my lost mojo. x
