Me In The Economist

Every year, The Economist‘s special “World In…” edition is like my must read as it has SO much info and nowness in one place.Β  So i am thrilled to have a piece in there this year!

If you are reading the print edition, it is on page 100 or you can see it online here.Β Β  I believe i am the first astrologer to ever be in The Economist!

And, you know, as the key theme of 2016 – the Saturn Neptune square – is exact for the first time next week, it’s like 2016 starts early.

Mystic, when I click on the link to read about you in The Economist (the image features year 2016), it opens to the year 2019. Would you have a PDF of your piece in the magazine from 2016 that we could read? Would love to see it! Thanks.

LOVE THIS!! I couldn’t somehow locate it on my digital copy.. but I was looking at the latest one. So fab you’re in the Economist, it’s one of my faves – along with Bloomberg.

Think it’s high time we recognize there are zero gaps between being an economist and full on PIAB.

Big congrats, Mystic. Your writing is superb, and your worldly intuition spot on. No wonder they chose you. πŸ™‚

The great South Sea Bubble was saturn neptune in opposition wasn’t it? Pluto was also involved when South Sea bubble burst, pluto in virgo seems a bit like pluto in Nanny McPhee mode — granting your worst wishes so you can marinate gently in the consequences for a bit. Not sure, but Cap seems a bit harsher as a straightener?

I’m so intrigued to see what is going to happen over the next year.

Surely the economy is like any other element of the universe. Prowlin above described it like the wave pattern we see at the very foundation of the creative force of the universe. I like to describe it like the breath. Inhale, exhale. The economic myth that there is a need for constant growth basically goes against everything we already know about our existence. Whatever causes the inevitable inhale is probably irrelevant, it’s going to happen, it’s meant to happen and instead of the mad panic that ensues we need to see its necessity for the inevitable exhale around the corner.… Read more »

Ah Mystic, that’s awesome. Congrats. Definitely words well chosen. Xx

awesome! i love the economist. how did you pull this off? no wait, its a neptune square saturn manifestation, somehow.

So cool to see an astrologer being shown respect and being taken seriously. Even cooler that it’s the astrologer I am following and learning from!

In honor of your now acknowledged role in world affairs I feel it is necessary to give a name to this role. Astrologer is so broad, Economist so boring. How does this sound ..may I introduce Mystic Medusa, CEO and Returning Goddess of the School of Ecosmicists. As the founder of this school and advisory body on Earth , Mystic now sits on the Board of Ecosmicists for this galactic quadrant. From her seat in Sydney’s inner west … Etc etc. Anyone interested in coming up with the motto and logo for this new school ? From the head of… Read more »

Congratulations, Mystic! You went straight to the point, talking about Pluto in Capricorn as the Big Idea till 2024, then gave everyone the Saturn-Neptune square as the thing to watch for next year.

The visual accompanying your article is so on point! It shows the planet Saturn slicing into a bubble–but the bubble has a “sea goat” inside! So Saturn pricks the Neptune bubble and reveals the Plutonic Capricorn truth inside it! In fact, the way the sea goat is drawn it looks kind of snaky and Plutonic too. Nice!

I’m laughing because my ex-bf (Cap) is in love with The Economist and considers it the bible. It’s the only publication he believes / reads.
No offence to you Mystic but he hated astrology, so to find out that you are now in his bible is fitting.
Laughing, laughing!

Congrats on a well deserved coup. You are awesome xxx

Congratulations!! I read it also, and agree with the folks who said that it has a perfect Saturn/Neptune tone. πŸ™‚

Wow, & an excellent article to boot! Way to sneakily tell off anyone reading the Economist with a slippery inflationist agenda that Saturnine retribution is nigh πŸ˜‰

Mystic, I am so proud of you and for you. This is the perfect triangular apex of all that you have done that I have been following since – god I dunno, since 2001?????? The base line to the triangle is one side journalism, the other side astrology sitting on a long line of hard work. The pinnacle of this is international recognition on more than just the social media scale. You so deserve this path as a trail blazer. You have the handle on the neptunium vibe door of change in what and who people will be now looking… Read more »
