Something Hatching?

Filed in Uncategorized

Guy Bourdin

Yes, yes something IS hatching.

A little something “conceived” late 2014, when Saturn was at this point and Venus + Mars began the cycles quickening – Venus with Saturn and Mars with Pluto. It’s a remarkably lucid Dark Moon & it will be an extra fecund New Moon.

More in the Daily Horoscopes.

I have Mars at 22 degree Cancer in the second squaring Pluto in fifth, trining Uranus. In the second house. I am expecting some big shit. I bought a fricken lotto ticket. I just booked a flight to go and see our money man. I am going to write a job application and smoke the house. Epic!!!

Ugh, just had a friend Qi vamp me over the phone.. Just a reminder that I’m maybe feeling more sensitive on this dark moon than I realize… I have Kataka ascendant…
Need to get in touch with my guy about this weekend too, now thinking I should wait until tomorrow seeing as how weird it went communicating with just a friend today…

I was actually having a good day before talking to her, and was feeling ‘even’, emotionally. Let’s see if I can get back to that feeling for the rest of the day…

Hmmm…This post just doesn’t resonate with me. I don’t get what is supposed to be hatching. πŸ™ This post makes me feel like I’ve done something wrong. The only things that happened to me at the end of 2014 was more trouble with my family, fighting off annoying stalkers who keep wanting to get close to me, and love interest still not accessible. I am going back to school though so maybe it has to do with that, but feels a far cry from fertility or hatching. Feels more like a race or battle that must be won.

Hatching…not sure. End of 2014 I was moving, and hanging out with Weatherbeaten Virgo, the cracks beginning to show. It was a crazy time leading up to Xmas. I suppose it was the end of one phase of life and the start of another. If there’s any unfinished biz left from that era it can’t be with my ex-hub, that sitch is deader than dead. The Virgo? That’s pretty dead too. I was putting away a LOT of hooch back then, and I’ve (mostly) stopped that now. Typically I never really ‘get’ these patterns until long after the fact. Saturn… Read more »

Definitely hatching. As soon as I saw this headline I said to myself, Yes. (great photo, Mystic!) Two weeks ago, (I think it was the full moon) I walked out of my manager’s office and realized, it’s him, it’s always been him, and I only just saw this now. Floored. When I started there over two years ago, I had a mad crush on him, but also kind of wanted to slap him (we have a Mars-Mercury double-whammy trine in our synastry; verbal sparring from the beginning- HOT). Yes- what I liked about the Fincher/Mara Lisbeth is that you got to see her vulnerability.

Jokerman

I liked the Swedish one. It was more Plutonic. Lisbeth’s character portrayed a driven character. I have Sun Sq my Scorp Nep and suffered manifold abuse, as a kid, so l really related to Noomi’s performance. The male lead was also more believable he was a real man conflicted by his human shortcomings. The USA version wad more Libran in its retelling.
My opinion FWIW.

InvictaMM Member
Invicta

Maybe I should give the Swedish one another day in court. I agree that the American one was more Libran. Daniel Craig strikes me as a very Libran male lead. I wouldn’t have picked him but it works for me.
I also had um, lets say an interesting youth.
Abusive is probably more accurate. That’s why I love her.
She’s so driven.
I find the idea of her being a ward of the state and “mentally incompetent” quite laughable.
She’s definitely damaged but mentally incompetent?
Hmmm

Ok I’m going to be honest.
It’s the scene where she’s in the pink undies in her hotel room at the end of the film smoking and working on her laptop but she still keeps the black napa gloves on.
I don’t know if that was a plot thing, like, no finger prints- because immediately I think, what about hairs in the bed- hello forensics?
But maybe it was just a visual ploy to seduce us..Fincher is great at that.

But ok, you got me with the Neil Young line..

Something conceived late 2014 and something hatching now… Well, I had my fibroid surgery in December, so there’s that! Last night had the worst sleep of the year. And been haunted all week in my dreams by a culled Gemini frenemy. It’s like a dream marathon starring her as a protagonist.

So I sat here thinking, “Late 2014 was a house of horrors…what could possibly have been seeded?” Got dumped by my lover…spent November and December fighting with him….had a horrible Christmas wherein I though it’d be smart to bring my ex and his new heinous girlfriend to my hometown and all they did was fight. Horrid. Then I figured it out, I think. You see, just now, in late June, during the Uranus/Jupiter/Venus excitement, during my road trip, I fell in love with an old friend, “M”. Despite all resistance. Despite how odd it seemed. Despite still thinking of each… Read more »

Virgo Ellie

Hmmm.. November 2014 was technically the time I started a new job. It was a great feeling, new project, I felt productive, new people, lots of money and it seemed to work. It ended in January because I was moved from the original person who interviewed me to a person who didn’t really know me. He took me because the department head, who also interviewed me, said I should be under him. Nope.. I knew immediately when the switch occurred in December that things were going sour. As such he cut my contract 3 weeks later. Nice… but maybe with… Read more »

Well, now that I reread the post, it said “late 2014″… so, yes, still the new contract job started in late October 2014 and was changed technically on December 1, 2014. I was also incubating my own business thoughts. I remember reorganizing my 2nd bedroom when I came home from the contract position for a w/e. I bought a bookshelf and had that up before I flew back. It was still a mess but my thoughts were on my own business. I also ended a connection with the Pisces dude and started energetically thinking of the Toro/Gem. They are both… Read more »

Hmm is a bit…. At times I feel almost guided then I feel a bit scared, the changes have been epic in my working life for this Virg/Virg since laid off in Nov 2014 – which made a nice matching set to my lay off on diff ZZ zap in April 2015 Flying into Melbs for first trade show and doing it by the skin of our pants with everything in 2 suitcases. Twin Virg/Virg, we have pretty much overthought over everything but are now just excited. It’s apparently freezing. Well Australian style “Arctic Votex” aka Winter freezing. I really… Read more »

Wow! So mid-December 2014 I did the letter magic thing. I was hoping it would lead The One I Am Seriously Into to tell me how he felt. Unknown to me at the time, about a week after said spell, my all-but-ex husband inexplicably informed the one I am seriously into (henceforth to be known as (TOIASI, or maybe Tosi for short) that I was seriously into him. All I knew was that Tosi seemed to suddenly drop off the radar (there is a point to all this I promise). That was over Christmas/NY and we were both busy with… Read more »

Oh you’ll enjoy Tim Ferris. The interview with Whitney Cummings about How to Turn Pain Into Creativity is outrageously funny and actually quite moving probably because it doesn’t try to be. Gets real serious at times but Whitney is an amazing writer and a great comedienne. She’s also super evolved as a human being and isn’t afraid to discuss her own process both therapeutically and as a writer. She confronts things in a refreshingly real way. I really enjoy the 5 by 5 shows like Back To Work with Dan Benjamin and Merlin Mann but they are a bit more… Read more »

well yes Pi, I was expecting to feel that way too and despite buying the 4 hour body and the 4 hour work week during a fit of shortcut laziness one not so fine day a few years ago have studiously avoided reading either one. Tim Ferris is into polyphasic sleep and I was advised to check out his blog in relation to this since I may be poly-alotta-things. He’s a lot funnier and more self depreciating than I expected and the Whitney Cummings episode is worth listening to just for Whitney alone. I am hooked. She’s incredible and one… Read more »

Well that’s good news! Great picture.
Late 2014 I can’t remember conceiving, impregnating or fertilising anything.
But good times, let’s pray for more of that.
(By the by that word *fecund* it makes me feel a bit nauseous).

PiMM Member

i don’t mind it. fecundity to me sounds luscious, ceres-goddessy, venus of willendorf-ish. not sure why as other similar words have the same effect as this does on you – borderline ew

PiMM Member

i mean, it;’s odd because other words that mean the same thing, have the same effect on me as this word does for you.

I’m with Sphinx on fecund. I get that it’s a great word. I just don’t have to use it. LOL
As a kid I had the same feeling about the word “leg”
go figure.
I got over it
Can use it in a sentence now.

skarabMM Member

Lol! Well i think that fecund should be promoted more as a word. Maybe even introduce it as a name. I mean, if Chastity is a name why not Fecundity?
Which one is more life-affirming do ya think?

Legs in plural I can handle. Actually I can handle the word “leg” in singular form too. I just remember it distinctly as being the first word I read as a child where when I read it out loud, it kind of jarred me. I was like, “mmm I really don’t like how that sounds. Is that correct, leg? leg? leg? is am I saying it right?” It rarely happens to me anymore except when someone lets say is trying to impress me with their vocabulary and uses a ridiculous word that they’d never use in conversation. Even if it’s… Read more »

And Fecund isn’t one of those words.
I just understood Sphinx’s reaction to the way it sounds. sometimes it’s the guttural tones in the English language that when we say them out loud just feel strange. Fecund as a concept is great. I just know that feeling of reading a word and being like “ewe”..lol
It’s nothing to do with the post. Probably a dark moon thing.
