Hecate knows there is a total, extreme Eclipse EDGE out there at the moment. And relationships seem to be copping a lot of it. The weekend seemed to feature whole series of w.t.f anecdotes and crap going down.
So anyway, in the spirit of positivity and us not going totally bats this Eclipse, here is a beautiful little piece by my friend Marcella Kroll, an L.A. based psychic and intuitive witch, on the Bhavana. It’s kind of like a spell, also for clarity. She wrote about Letter Magic in December.
Bhavana for Romantic Partnership
Bh?van? (Pali; Sanskrit, also bh?vana) literally means “development” or “cultivating” or “producing” in the sense of “calling into existence.” (courtesy of wikipedia.org)
These days it really is important to be clear about what you are wanting to draw into your life. You hear the word “manifest” a lot. We are encouraged to make Vision Boards for the lives we so desire to manifest/live. Vision Boards are in a sense a visual Bhavana. Just like mantras are sacred, so are our lists of goals and intentions that we create to get the ball rolling in manifesting what we want. We can build our dreams and desires just like our daily to do lists by giving them life, making them sacred objects, and treating them as such.
So what on earth exactly is a Bhavana? Well to keep things simple, let’s call it an Intentions List magnified x’s 10. I was given this lovely guideline by Yoga Teacher and Golden Sol Yoga and Wellness Center Co-Founder, Amy Patrice Golden. It is a practice and teaching that she has taught in workshops and has successfully seen the powerful results of her practice over the years. To connect with Amy directly do visit www.goldensol.org or email firstname.lastname@example.org to reach her.
I love setting intentions. Whether you call it your wish list, Soul Mate guide, or Bhavana. I believe that by listing what we want, with clarity and intention, we can hyper focus on what we want, and magnetize it to us. By getting clear on the details of what you would like to see more of in your life. So let’s start with Amy’s Brilliant Bhavana technique for calling in your perfect for you Romantic Partner. See the pic for layout and directions below. If you want to get really Witchy with it, I would recommend doing this on the New or Full Moon. As the Moon is a powerful witness and energy holder for making your intentions come true and fast.
You are going to need a piece of paper, letter size or larger. Position the paper in landscape position, longways, and put your name at the top. Next divide the paper into 4 columns. I will list below with some examples…
1st – He/She says
“I support you”, “You are the funniest person I know”, “I adore you”, etc. etc.
2nd – He/She does
Show Up, Follow through, Respects themselves, Has a spiritual practice, etc.
3rd – We do
Share similar values, have great communication, travel well together, etc.
4th – He/She has/is
Motivated, successful career, good manners, affectionate, etc. etc.
Once complete, meditate with your Bhavana, or keep it by your bedside for an evening or two. Then protect this sacred document. Put it somewhere you respect. Then let go of thinking about it, knowing, and trusting that you sent your special telegram out into the Cosmos. All will be as it should. So mote it be.
