Zap Zone Number 6 Exact On Time

Filed in ASTROLOGY

Tatiana Plakhova

It’s kind of weirdly scary when the Zap Zone (Uranus square Pluto) runs so perfectly on time. i am referring to the sad-scary weird schizz still unfolding at the Lindt cafe in Sydney, as I type.  I don’t have anything profound to say on this – my initial reaction was “oh fuq.”

My friend Not-The-Typical-Virgo is in lock down at the public arts building she works in, says military everywhere.  This cafe is a kind of obvious oh-my-god-it’s-hot-but-voila-the-Lindt-cafe-air-con-chocolate-decent-coffee-child-friendly mid-city inner venue. It’s SWISS owned for fuqs sake. It’s just agonizing thinking of the poor people inside and their families.

So this is just a post so people can talk if they want. The astrology of the Zap Zone speaks for itself (volatile as fuq) but i WILL say that the Moon in Libra would totally favor genius negotiation skills, likewise Mars in Aquarius for extra wisdom/courage on the part of the military + police trying to resolve this thing.

Even apart from this situation, the atmosphere feels terse, electric, break-point.  Thoughts?

You know what I don’t get? That people seem to think you can’t be thinking of the poor hostages and their families AND the innocent people in the Muslim community who will be persecuted by bigots because of this.

I think these are both valid beliefs that can co-exist together.

And don’t tell me the attack on the muslim community isn’t happening. It is.

This happened on my train line.

Perhaps what fills me with most dread is how the US & Aust are already using this incident as call to be vigilant so that people support their fuqed up, illegal & immoral war mongering.
Once very sick man does not equate with the full scale invasion of countries that, say in Libya’s case, happened to provide free education, free electricity & most dangerous of all, have no debt.

Anonymous

Well go and live in Libya then!

Blaming the police is not helpful.
I think they did an excellent job under the circumstances!

sphinx

Maybe I would have gone to live in Libya, for all i know it was fab. Don’t really want to go there now with the US creating new Saddam’s there, do I?
You carry on with being as uncritical in your thinking as you like though, it’s your prerogative.

Anonymous

Yes, that’s the problem – the US is creating radical Islamists all over the middle east and africa. Isis to them (US) is a godsend. It needs an enemy with a good name. Read up on how it started and by whom – except you won’t read it in the mainstream media. None of this made any sense – how can that madman who killed his wife, sexually assaulted 40 women and a known islamist with radical beliefs be walking around free? It doesn’t take too much brain power to come to unthinkable conclusions, no? The government has a lot… Read more »

I am not saying that this man is part of a set up, I doubt it though. Indulge me, and let’s say for example, the French speakers of the world had the most massive army in known hisotry and decided to set up puppet govn’t in the English speaking nations, then to invade all the English speaking countries with resources under false pretexts which would be supported in the French press, there would be loads of righteously angry English speaking nations. The English speakers of excellent character would have to put up with the lies & corruption of the world… Read more »

I think that we are wildly agreeing with each other. Just change French for US and English speaking to Arab speaking or Muslim countries.

It’s almost like they are waiting for these crazy rogue radicals to do something like this – to justify changing laws – and doing away with any remaining civil liberties. That guy should have been locked up a long time ago. Why was he free? What a farce.

permit me to nerd out for a moment, sorry to the IR geeks if i have this all wrong I haven’t re-checked my facts for a while I think Libya’s problem was that when its people started demonstrating for a more democratic government, the non-democratic government turned on them violently. From memory the US (mostly the US) was permitted by the international community to take action to protect libyan citizens against the government under UN-sanctioned justification for international action including use of force to defend a no-fly zone (i.e. no govt planes bombing their own people). However the US played… Read more »

It’s about the petrodollar. Gaddafi was named Chairman of the African Union. He immediately proposed the formation of a unified state with a single currency. It was the nature of that proposed currency that got him killed. Gaddafi was interested in selling oil for gold and starting an African central bank under a gold standard. The fact that the world trades in american dollars is how they are still functioning with the huge debt they have. They will kill and destroy everyone threatening their financial system and way of life. “I think Libya’s problem was that when its people started… Read more »

yes. this.

It’s absolutely horrible what has happened. I have been cyring since I found out for the hostages and their families.

The media’s response has been disgusting. The loaded language and fearmongering makes me physically sick.

Add to this that Muslim groups in Australia have reported this guy to the “Authorities” yet they didn’t even put him on a watch list. What the?

davidl
davidl

So sad today. This is a first for Australia and I pray the last. As far as the way authorities handled this we learned that we have no idea how to handle these situations. While I watched the initial footage taken from a nearby tv station I wondered how long would they wait to take this guy out with a sniper shot. The fact they didn’t ? when he was standing around in full view literally mtrs from police snipers shows a total lack of experience and management. Couldn’t agree more. The advice to wait it out and strength in numbers, etc. I suspect that too about ‘friendly fire’. When Scipione said they were on top of it, l thought, yeah right. If they were on top of it it would’ve been done and dusted.
Im currently listening to Abbott wax deliriously about what did not happen. This is now being mythologised. And what dont we get about bail. Sends letters to families of dead soldiers, murders his wife and 40, forty!!!, thats right 40 sexual assault charges. And still out. J Meagher anyone?

I feel for the loved ones.

cal
cal

I also completely agree. What good were the numbers, the scale of it all (except as a show of authority) and the time if they couldn’t take him, alone, out? They faffed about at the edges when they should have had a target, as you say, on his forehead within half an hour.

Two beautiful lives lost. RIP

sphinx
sphinx

I suppose tho they may not have known if the guy was acting alone, if he had bombs in other locations that were responsive to his well being etc. so waiting till they had more info would be understandable. But still, it’s looks a mess from the outside. I also question the actions of those civilians that tried escaping and endangered the group, hindsight is 20/20 of course, but not good, :-/.

Time Out of Mind
Time Out of Mind

Those ppl escaping would’ve agitated him for sure. Hang together, hang tuff. The ones that escaped will have lotza ‘what ifs’ going on in their head. I know l have and l was not there.

This has nothing to do with religion. It’s to do with BAD politics imposed by a few people to benefit the 1% of the population that rule the planet. Religion is being used as a weapon or marker of difference between peoples who would otherwise get on.

It’s about greed and the social psychopaths who rule us. This person holding the hostages in this Sydney café is as much a victim as his hostages are. The real culprits are our politicians and their alliances with other bullying forces – for their own financial gain.

Sphinx
Sphinx

Yes!! Erudite. But personal responsibility for our actions also comes into play here, and while this hostage taker’s history is unknown to me, I would posit that his actions are still his own. Even if we are pawns and victims, there is a level of free will involved.

Anonymous
Anonymous

Sure Sphinx, and I agree with you – I was just too angry to write that at the time.

Seems to me that it’s the victims and downtrodden who have to have a moral fortitude greater than that of the privileged and oppressors – or a greater capacity to forgive for things to move on. I don’t know why I always think that it should be the other way round.

Anonymous
Anonymous

The greater privilege is the opportunity to develop moral fortitude and compassion in the face of violence and trauma, which is infinitely more valuable and fulfilling than any 1%’s money and power.

Anon
Anon

Yeah – tell the displaced people in Irak, Syria, Palestine, or the Congo, or Haiti or any war-torn and poverty stricken country how privileged they are. Lucky sods.

Anonymous
Anonymous

Viktor Frankl is a huge inspiration for this way of interpreting suffering. Yes privilege is a loaded word. The opportunity to have strength in dire situations is a very different kind of opportunity than being born with economic privilege. Horrible things has been happening to people for eons. The glimmer of hope in these situations is the empowerment that comes with developing compassion and moral fortitude against the worst odds (no, the downtrodden are not lucky). And hopefully the perpetrators will learn something from the strength they see in those they harm. The anger is always justified. But how does

…the cycle of violence stop?

Sphinx

I think suffering can be a fantastic teacher and privilege a poor one.. plus one has to be surrounded by compassion to be able to cultivate it within I suppose. I understand the anger tho.

Religion is the social aspect of faith and conditions people. I stand by my stance that it is toxic and unnatural and devoid of any spiritual merit. Note I stated religion, and yes, it applies to each and every one of them. I have lived all over the world and seen the damage that all faiths wreak on people from the personal to the political.
