Strange Invisible Sagittarius Review + Competition

Filed in SAGITTARIUS

Helmut Newton copy

A la my review of Strange Invisible Perfumes Scorpio scent, here is my take on their Sagittarius juice.

As i type this, i am wearing the fragrance, swallowing a proverbial s-load of vitamins with a swamp juice type smoothie and thinking about how Saturn in Sagittarius really is going to feel FRESH AND NEW.  If Saturn in Scorpio was like the psychic colonic, this is the full-on vitamin & super-nutrients infusion.

Anyway, the scent is epic-green – neroli, cypress, bay leaf, honey comb and lime.  Like the love child of Eau Dynamisante and Vent Verte.

It IS kind of Sagg in that it’s summery, out-doorsy & smells like the breeze coming off a sun-lit meadow. But it’s also like a teenagery fragrance – not in the Lynx/Justin Bieber body spray/watermelon flavored lip gloss/mall smell BUT like the vibe when your animal spirits are high, someone’s having a pool party, your jeans fit just right, fresh hair & you’re in-the-moment.

Add to that the slightly medicinal/sports lockery sub-note and voila Essence Du Sagg.

SO I have a bottle right here to give away as a prize to the commenter who can come with the best Feeling Sagg moment. You don’t even have to be a Sun Sign Sagittarius to have one of these…The winner will be announced with the New (thank fuq) Moon in approx 24 hours.

What was everyone’s consensus on the best fragrance in this line? What about the best for a man?

PICK ME!!
Best feeling Sagg moment is clearly WINNING.

Anything, effortlessly, breezing in, right place, right time, with that special brand of Jupiter-Luck.

… and FINALLY getting your license, and just: ” FUQ THIS: ROADTRIP!”

Tunes, like Loreen, and Lana Del Rey, sunset breeze, and future and adventure awaiting…

Riding to Sydney Mardi Gras to meet my Taiwanese Gay Boyfriend with a minibus filled with Drag Kings dressed as Elvis. They wanted me to join their march down Oxford St to the (fabulous) after party…didn’t feel right as not gay so cheered from the footpath with everyone else. Only time I have ever been swigging vodka at 9am in a club (Arc)

Looking back, I have a favorite Sag moment that has come to make a ton of sense. I was set to move from Colorado to California. A buddy of mine was leaving Southwest /Colorado about the same time, his plan to hit SoCal and travel North, I was to hitch a ride on his trip and bail out in the Bay area, my new home. The night before we were leaving, I went to hang out with a girl and guy whom I had been working with at a nearby resort. She had a keg of beer, lived wayyyyy out… Read more »

I’m a saggy moon, and the moon being the main influence on my sun sign, being cancer, well lets just say it’s steamy. And with Cap rising, well, there’s just no two ways about it. Steamy. My best sagg moment is about to happen thursday as I attend a cross dressing gender bender xmas party in Alice Springs (that’s in the middle of Australia in the desert). Amongst the perils of no job and house sitting with a used by date, slightly thwarted relationship and little savings, I decided to go shopping. All I can say is I have THE… Read more »

Well what luck and timely sustenance! Not only am I extending into a fresh new moon and Saternaliaic reset but I have also been searching high and low, this way and that for a fresh new scent to go with it! So far, no luck. Perhaps this will be the one? To my best feeling Sag moment (yes I’m sun in Sag). I was 3 days out from traveling from NZ to Europe to sing, via San Francisco for 3 days. Young American Sagittarius. Goes to France with her English Virgo Boyfriend, to mend a broken relationship. Sets off on the Eurostar across the English Channel, for a weekend. Hooks up with French friends, boyfriend gets jealous. They break it off (obviously) – and instead she spends her time in Paris with a French dude getting frenched and making out in front of the Louvre. To be young and Sagi. <3

I’ve realised the best Saggo moments are always YET TO COME….look to the future, not the past and all that. I have a Sagg moon, which I’ve always felt repressed by various circumstances (though that may be typical–do all Saggs feel constrained and constantly needing to break out of perceived barriers??)….anyway I felt my first big connection with Saggo energy on the back of a motorbike, speeding along the coastline….looking at the huge waves breaking on the white sand, the norfolk island pines….it was a moment of pure freedom and exhilaration and I loved every second of it. Fourth of July 2009. Was farming in Vermont for the summer with idyllic group…we were super isolated and had taken to speaking in english accents to each other; we even got our bosses to do it and visitors to the farm thought we were english although it really sounded like a horrible australian/english mix. No parties to be had all summer but the one gentleman that worked on the farm had a college friend with a lakehouse. Best sag stellium moment? So many..I’ll name two: dancing to house at an undergroung new York city basement bar, electric bears, hypnotic lights..woke up to a hot Canary Island surfer who didn’t speak a lick of English but managed to communicate just fine 🙂 another, in an African Village with no electricity or bathrooms and working alongside a crew of friends and artist creating a documentary film to promote an orphanage model there. travel, feeling free, educating, loving, and trying to be the inspiration by example 🙂 that’s just my sag side…

I love adventure as much as the next, but my Sagg moon is in the second house so I mostly experience it close to home. I snagged a cute house on two acres with a 222 acre preserve surrounding us. I am a double saggitarius (saggitarius and saggitarius ascendant) yet only lately have I begun to reconnect to my natural saggitarius tendencies (after an adolescence overshadowed with family troubles that dampened my spirit and made me chronically uncertain of myself and timid toward the world). Perhaps the moment when I felt it coming back strongest was last year when I was living in Paris and drove a vespa for the first time, without any instruction or experience, through the streets of the 4th arrondissement at dawn… it was scary as hell but exhilarating as anything I’ve ever tried. OMGoddess-Artemis! This is so PERFECT! My birthday was Dec 4. I just turned 48. The week of my birthday I made a serious re-commitment to the gym and my total health/diet/fitness lifestyle, (I spent the last 6 months recovering from a terrible left distal radius fracture where they had to install a metal plate and pin to secure all the fragment and I now have a 5.5 inch scar from the surgery on the inside of my left wrist). Sex as a teen with my Saggo then-girlfriend, outside, down by the river, under the pines. A raccoon crept up and stole her bra, and to this day, I have no idea why.

If You Could Read my Mind
If You Could Read my Mind

Following possible reasons:
1. The raccoon was named Benny Hill. Onlookers said it was accompanied by silly sounding bar piano.
2. The raccoon was helping with the feminist movement. Germaine Greer distanced herself indicating that feminism had become splintered.
3. His mates egged him on whilst he was drunk. Interviewd later, he said, “it seemed like a good idea at the time”
4. It had a fetish and is now living as the self-styled “Braccoon”
If you, or anyone you know, has the same tendency; keep doing it.

One of my most memorable Sagg moments was sitting 4,200 meters up on the Tibetan Plateau by the shores of Lake of the Moon, a crescent shaped lake, the colour of lapis lazuli. I was asked out by new flatmate to see a band. The band was great and we decided to walk home through a parkland which had an incredibly landscaped pool.
Our chemistry was thrilling. He stripped off and jumped in the water. I followed feeling so free I was on the edge of fear.
So much fun to be naked, wet and flirting!
What ensued was a Summer fling. I fell in love.

Claustrophobia strikes quickly in the heart of the sadge. The only cabin fever that saggitarius is relatively unfazed by is a fever..in a ship’s cabin. And while I was in America I drove around mostly but caught some flights. I spent most of my time in California, Tennessee, Oregon and Chicago – with a few other… Read more »

My 9th year was a huge Saggo moment… I was scruffy little thing clad in band t-shirts, whose Dad gave her rides to school on his motorcycle and whose Mum had her attending hindu ashrams every Sunday. I turned in an autobiographical essay at school titled “The Traveler”- an attempt at embellishing my moves from Florida to California to New York- and the very same week gave myself two tattoos (using a screw and blue ballpoint pen ink). All my best feline friends over the years have been Sagg. They can’t handle my love of jasmine/gardenia/tuberose/cumin/leather/pepper oriental style scents so I would love this fragrance so my hospitable Taurean ass can make them more feel like home 🙂

P.S. Does anyone else feel like they woke up in new skin? Dreams are literal psychic midnight walks in the subconscious depths? HUGE emotional and psychic purges OR those subconscious mumblings are exactly that and are no longer embodied? Bring on the new era!!! <3

Not quite new skin but definitely aware of a profound shedding process that instead of feeling uncomfortable feels pretty damn good!

Might be Saturn getting ready to stop opposing my Asc as it gets ready to hit my Sun..
