Leo and dating
Once i got ENGAGED to a Leo. God, where do i start. I don’t even think i can detail the story here. I could not stand the scenes, the blowback, the rocketing straight to a theatrical Defcon 9 at the appropriation of his mojo by mere mention “on your blog that nobody sane reads.”
There was ego, jealous tantrums (over clearly gay male waiters) and an envious snit over more attention being given to the CAT. There was a Redken hair product fetish. Not to mention there was a delusional identification with movie stars. And there was infidelity that was a pre-emptive revenge fuq because Leo thought my interest was wandering. Plus, there was a weird preoccupation with how others – strangers even – perceived him. Names were not dropped so much as bombed.
Other than the name-bombing, non-stop jealous tantrums and bloated ego, he was really, really nice. And good in a crisis when he had not actually caused it. Because it would make him look good to be the hero of that particular scene. The engagement did not progress.

But Charley loves Leos!
‘I LOVE Leo men. And I know they can be totally precious, dramatic and oversensitive but for some reason the Leo brand of drama doesn’t bother me too much, I kind of find myself wanting to indulge it and almost finding it amusing. I generally find I get a lot of warmth, loyalty, physical affection, understanding and care in return which makes it totally worthwhile.’

‘Yes, I too dated a Leo. It happened. Somehow. Very briefly. First, yes, he WAS a sweetheart. Second, yes, he had enough drama that it began to feel like he’d turned his life into an extremely overwritten soap opera.’
‘Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr… don’t start me. I once dated a Leo who was also really really nice when he wasn’t stoned, having a drama, creating a drama, stressed due to someone else’s drama, crying over a drama. You get the picture.’ At least prowlncrab can find the humour in it.
‘As an Aquarius I have a strange love-hate relationship with Leos. I have no planets in Leo, so I’m not sure where the attraction originates other than maybe my South Node placed there or the fact that my dad is a Leo Sun AND Moon? (How does my mother even deal?) Have dated both solar Leos and lunar Leos. Always a certain amount of need for control, possessiveness, and jealousy.’
