Do Cancerians Have Really Messy Bedwombs?

Debbie Harry black and white 80s

There is a rumor going around that Cancerians  – especially the ladies – have really messy bedrooms. Or bedwombs. I know, because i started it.

But is this astro-cliche fair?  Is it just that prominent Crab chicks such as Debbie & Courtney let themselves be photographed as such for artistic reasons?

In the interests of astro-research, Cancerians fess up please. Is your bedwomb a melange of mouldy maiden hair ferns, dirty laundry and stream of consciousness scrawlings? Or an sleek sanctuary where you rejuvenate and find peace?  Or is the first option what Crab People DO find relaxing?

Also, whilst we are at it – is it not unfair that the adjectives around the Moon pertain to madness?  Lunatic. Loonie. Just as the word “hysteria” means “madness of the womb.”  Once upon a time it was thought that the Full Moon sent women bats and that their womb actually wandered around the body, making them crazy.

PLUS: If anyone is guilting themselves for not cleaning their house or whatever, don’t worry about it lol. Mars is about to be in Virgo. Soon it will be like a fetish, some of us will be lying awake at night, gleaming with zeal as we contemplate a disinfection of the skirting boards.

Thoughts?  And if anyone wants to submit a pic of their Cancerian bedwomb for analysis, I’m game. Yes?

Image: Debbie Harry but can’t find the photographer!

Cancer sun, Capricorn moon, aqua rising…..tidy bedroom. Simple. Soft bedding, sunlight, warm and cosy ( look at the moon more through my window) I still have one drawer full of odds and ends though. Postcards, books, a plastic elephant, old love letters.

I am definitely a bit of a loonie though.

No no no no no! Cancer Sun, Aries Rising, Capricorn Moon. Clean, tidy, clutter free bedroom always. Drawers & wardrobe space are organised. New bedlinen cover each season. The best quality linen I can afford. Bed is made every day – complete with comfy, decorate pillow for propping myself up to read in bed, and throw to match linens. Items on my tallboy and side table include framed photo of my son, candles (to match bedlinens), always a pile of books, crystal perfume bottles, mirrored jewellery boxes (nothing left out to gather dust) and fresh flowers in crystal vase. Fluffy… Read more »

although a virgo sun/venus, my bedroom is really messy …( cancer mars! ) but i dont think that only the sun points at it. for example my brother is a cancer sun, nothing in virgo, but loves order and the lists (for almost everything ) the only thing that i love to be somewhat organised is my bookshelf now i am thinking of it, not only the cancer mars but , the combo with the uranus IC and the gypsy jupiter (leo).. wherever i am the entropy of the space, increases significantly a virgo who loves chaos and the very… Read more »

Virgo Moon has kept my bedwomb, fairly clutter free.. I like shelves where I can’t see them and storage though.. storage, storage lots of storage.

Even still I used to not clean the bedroom when my cat was sleeping.. can’t disturb the cat! Nor the books not on the shelves.. a cup by the bed side..just not the worst for clutter.. you want to talk clutter lets talk about my kitchen!

On Non-Messy Cancerian Bedwombs: Could this also correlate to the evolution of emo processing in said Katakan? Just wondering..as I realize that with my Moon in Aqua, I NEED the order not for the order’s sake but for the space it allows me to let all my emotions float above the bed as I lay on it.. this is a visual-imaginary-yet-real thing for me. I call them the Nightly Flowers. That is to say, in bed at night or in day, I retreat to the bedwomb to unvault all those closely held feelings. Needless to say, in regular life I… Read more »

hmmm. I have nothing in Cancer except Lilith – but she does oppose my Cap Mars so I guess she packs a punch. For me the bed trumps the couch – and I’m Toro Moon & Rising. I almost live on my bed when I’m not working – I retreat there. I love it. Currently my wi-fi isn’t extending to my bedroom and I’m bereft. I have to sit on the couch. I never NEVER make my bed. Why? I mean why do that daily when you’re getting back into it daily. I do like good quality sheets though, and… Read more »

As a sun moon mars Jupiter in crab 4th and 5th house I feel qualified to speak on this one. My bedroom goes in phases like the moon. Currently it’s rather tidy with kit in drawers and bed made in the morning. But I do go through times of being scattered. Unkempt and dirty. As a kid it was a pit an utter pit. Actually makes me cringe to think back on it. I do hold onto things until I’ve made my peace with what ever it is and can let it go, so it’s full of odd things. And… Read more »

I have found in my eleven year old son’s bed dirty clothes, bottle caps, pieces of fabric for his stuffed animals, all of his stuffed animals, headphones, his Kindle Fire, nine hard cover books, pencils, cotton balls, candy wrappers, game cartridges, one of our old iPads, chewed up straws and Legos, yellow blocks that look like SpongeBob, etc. I have to clean it out every Saturday like clockwork.

So, I am a Cancer, moon in gem, aqua rising.
I am clean and things have their place but clutter does happen especially around the desk or wardrobe area.

I’ve noticed that my room tends to become more messy when I don’t feel at home somewhere/not established in my house/home. If I feel happy and at home in a place I take great pride in arranging, organising and cleaning my room.
I feel deep peace at this time.
I’m also quite self-conscious about what my bedwomb says about me to people who see it (Sun in fifth house).

Triple Cancer, Sun moon and mercury all in the first 2 degrees of Cancer.

No. but that’s no in the last five years. I’m also Virgo rising and my Rising sun has won out but it was a tough battle.

My room used to be like the picture, I think my messiness peaked in my twenties and it gradually started getting better, these days my room is usually pretty good.

I’ll happily send a pic in too Mystic, Just got to find some time, i’m working ridiculous hours at the moment.

My cancer love has a terrifyingly tidy bedroom. I blame his Virgo moon. My sun and rising are progressed into crab, but I believe my love affair with extreme mess began long before. Gem daughter with kataka stellium (merc,MC, mars, moon, Saturn) is equally tornado-ish. It’s the moon! Speaking of, I quite like the word lunatic. Reclamation!

Empty Katakan house in my chart. Mars exact cusp of Capricornian 2nd house of Stuff. Lilith in Virgo 10th House. And the hypersensitivity of Uranus in Libra/Venus in Aquarius. Certainly, i have trained myself out of being Domme Estos, who whipped the houseboys into shape, the ones who admired my home and then decided to move in. Tell me about it! He narks off at me for not rinsing the dishes before washing them, or putting dirty clothes in the laundry basket when its purpose (apparently!! who knew?) was only to transport clean clothes from the washing machine to the clothes line.

Man. All these rules!!! 😉

And then he leaves little piles of things about the place … there’s a pile on the sideboard, there’s a pile near the phone, there’s a pile on the kitchen table. He’s always scribbling in a notebook. Which I find tres quaint and old skool.

milleunanotte
milleunanotte

Ah yes, Prowln, let me help with Basic Facts of Laundry Life. To transport and carry dirty linen, one needs a Bag or Hamper which can also be washed. Now, a Basket cannot be washed so it must never be allowed to be soiled by carrying dirty linen. The Basket is a woven symbol of Domestic Goodness which somehow blesses the Clean Laundry. You see? ;D

I admit to also being guilty of the Little Piles of Projects in Progress.

May i make a belated point. I operate at some dysfunctional point on the Slob Spectrum at the moment, it’s related to my mental state of late. Not even high-functioning. Anyway, I specifically avoid those wicker basket things for transporting / storing clothes – wayyy too much risk of snagging a delicate fabric on a splinter. Unless I guess if the basket is lined with a nice strong (and washable) fabric. So, yes. temporary slob, but still thingy about wrecking stuff. Maybe Jupiter transiting my 1st is, er, ah…uh, ‘enhancing’ my emo-sloth tendencies?

Living happily, if not indulgently, with your own ‘mess’ is a kind of pride, so i think in this same vein there is a personal pride in one’s ‘prowess’. It is really about subjective judgment more than realistic assessment of how one actually is as a sex partner.

Crab sun & rising and while my instinct was to say, “No, crab bedrooms aren’t that bad!” – I looked round my own, and yeah… pile of clothes waiting for sorting, desk vanishing under piles of papers, STUFF on every flat surface…! But I have to say, I know where everything is in this chaos and it doesn’t feel chaotic. And I change the sheets regularly.

On the flip side, Crab sun bf practically doesn’t own any furniture, let alone clutter. Not sure about rising sign, though.

Virgo with cancer rising here. Growing up I always had a messy room. One of the reasons I never felt like a virgo. So your theory would explain it – it was my cancer rising taking over.

What about cars? My multi-Cancer friend had literally several strata of clothes, shoes, empty cans, papers, and who knows what else in her car. She was in a wreck one time and it took more than an hour to clean the stuff out before the tow truck could take it away.

YES to the cars. I am currently looking after a (male) Kataka friend’s house and dogs while he’s away. I went to use his car and WHOA what a shit show. Never seen so much stuff. crammed into such a small space. It was so bad I just walked to the shops instead!
