Mars Retrograde In Virgo – Your Brain On Mars

Filed in Mars

red wraith walking past graveyard abstract art

Mars Retrograde In Virgo is a trip.

You know those features with lit-up pics of “Your Brain On Ecstasy” and so on?

I want to see a diagram of someone’s brain on Mars.  Retro Mars in Virgo to be precise.  I reckon it would be all lit up with neurotransmitters no scientist even knows about yet.

This transit has made me insanely observant, for example. I grok everyone in the street or at the gym and notice within nanoseconds their hair, their gait, their body fat distribution and if it’s flabby or firm, whether or not their heels are exfoliated, their choice of clothes etc. None of this is judgmental or pervy – it just is.  Is it just me?

Then there is the hypochondria and sudden digestion consciousness. Fervent self-pep-talks followed by despairing freakouts, peaks of pride at accomplishments and (yes) the desire to stick to an eating excellence scheme beyond all that has gone before.

Dieting is easy with Mars Retrograde in Virgo. You can’t help but be hyper-aware of all that goes in your mouth.

Thoughts?

Ok i finally figured it out…DUH. I have mars retro my leo ruled 10th house that is mostly full of virgo. and i’ve been thinking lately about manifesting things into the world and why it keeps getting blocked with me. ITS MY BACK. i started realizing that everytime i get into something i stop because my back starts weirding. the upper LEO back. i’ve been completely obsessed with doing something about this, sure it is going to fire me far into the future if i get it to stop hurting once and for all. CRAZY. and stop with the juice… Read more »

YOGA works a treat. Fixed mine wonky back after years & years of Chiro & Physio. You must do the 5 stretching exercises every day for prevention. It doesn’t get better without professional intervention. Listen to Mamma here
about this.
O and Pilates for core strength to prevent future spasming
in conjunction with gentle yoga. Go for 3 sessions with The Best you can search-find.

Have put a bit of weight over the last year or two and I am now finally losing it.

I can’t say that I’m strictly following any diet or eating well consistently but at least 50% of the time I am consciously choosing no wine with dinner and protein and salads over baked potatoes and lasagne.

Also finding using the stairs at work a great way to get a workout. I can walk for hours and not feel it, but five flights of stairs and I know it’s making a difference.

It is all reminding me of when I go to the Eye Doctor and he is flipping those lens and asking me if A or B is clearer then 1 or 2 clearer. All of a sudden everything and everyone is CLEARER. Crystal clear. Bit unnerving but I’m enjoying the clarity.

The only thing saving me from having a face-lift

Mars being stalled is starting to annoy me as the job is quiet at this time. Regarding observation, it’s the energy of a person i suss, the body reveals much in posture & walk. When everything starts to pixilate then you KNOW the mathmatical mystery that permeates all. Wow!The Sagg Adonis just doorknocked and me unshowered-unmade up in dressing gown as i spend from 7-up til 9.30am at mac, then get beautiful. Returning a book that had forgotten i lent him. My heart hammered in the shower as i thought i would never see him again, to be just a… Read more »

Hmmm……Not feeling that side of it specifically. I’m natal Mars in Virgo conjunct Pluto & Jupiter and Moon – though not in any strong aspect. My life has revolved around health and food. From complex nutritional supplementation to macrobiotics – vegetarian (briefly ). I am a meat eater – but because I have huge problems with the industry now grow the majority of my own food – other than cereals and dairy ( which I avoid). I take it from the soil to the stars – you need good nutritionally balanced soil to produce good nutritionally balanced food – right… Read more »

LOL, I have Mars Rising in Virgo nataly and pretty sure tis retro too… So this observation-freak description makes me feel far less sociopathic than I could be interped as… Phew.
Though as my mars squares Neptune, juice fasting is more commonly replaced with beer fasting in my diet…

🙂 It was kinda sublimely ridiculous. Everyone in the VIP area all dressed up with not a scrap of cover in sight. We all ended up in those plastic poncho things, which I believe my Mars in Virgo once swore he’d never ever wear, like there would never be a reason to stoop so low, just get wet it’s sexier etc… But there we were, wind-whipped and dripping in giant body condoms. Well, nobody no nobody’s gonna rain on my… And the show must go… Etc. I am sick now because of it, but did need to take some time… Read more »

I am glad I am not the only person who not on the juice fasting train. I also spent Monday doing my first ever front aerial flips (HUZZAH!) in circus, but it means that my usual gym routine is out the window (I literally can’t sit down. That’s when I have ot pause and take stock)

Scorpalicious

I’m not juice fasting either! I’d much rather eat my veges than drink them. Apart from coffee, tea, water and social alcoholic beverages, I’m not really into liquids. I wonder if it’s because Neptune is conjunct my Sun…

Saturnian, I get where you’re coming from, but sometimes you have to get the appearance just so in order to fight the power. i find a lot of my social justice activism involves getting my corporate drag on. I have been exercising like crazy too – all very low impact, but it’s made HUGE changes to my body shape. No difference on the scales at all, but I put on a lot of weight last year due to the combo of a medical condition plus workplace stess. Yes to the bouncer @ the front of your mouth — but I took it from the perspective of watching what comes out (i.e. what I say) vs. what I eat! But now that I think about it, yes to both. So maybe Mars retro in Virgo fuquery isn’t all bad.

Anon

No, it has nothing to do with diets, but I had an ace Mars retro in Virgo moment recently when I had the revelation that every Aries man I was with last year was all flash but no substance. So I have just “exfoliated” all Aries men from my contacts.

This is so funny – as Aries Rising, my chart ruler is Mars so this transit is hitting me, but in a really good way!
I’ve narrowed down an easy diet to follow that is cheap and fast and healthy over the past month, started stretching when I wake up in the morning, drinking less…
And it has all been surprisingly easy to implement! But full disclosure: I definitely have a sweet tooth (more than half my planets are in Libra, incl. sun) and reducing my sugar intake is slow going… haha..

It is not about diet but I see clutter every where.. even when it may not exist. Another inch and I will start demolishing the house. Mars retro in solar 4th house. And Merc retro in Aries in 1st house slapped me on the face already – whatever I try to say/write comes off like a snark. I don’t think Jupiter in Toro is allowing me to diet in its true sense, but I have been exercising for 2 months now (3 days a week) and when I looked at the scale the other day I wanted to cry. Yeah, I’ve been taking in WAY more raw veggies/fruits, juicing, taking my vitamins, etc. and just got my first sinus cold in about a year.
I blame the “healthy” organic granola bars the BF’s mom’s been giving us. I’m not used to eating so well, so I tell myself it’s ok to have one, even though I’ve read the label and one of the first ingredients is evaporated cane juice.
