Yes, yes – there is a deeper & darker aspect to these gods. They were said to induce a sort of horny, drunken mania within their worshippers. Though maybe the bit about the female followers tearing the men to pieces in a frenzied bender was just Christian propaganda, you know?
As explored in Ladies Who Wear Leopardskin, the followers of these deities traditionally wore leopardskin. Or tiger, as we see above.
Kate Moss is an excellent example: she has Dionysus square Bacchus.

I have Dionysus conjunct my Sun…in Pisces, lol. Oh and Bacchus trine Jupiter BUT in Capricorn. That’s probably what saves me.
Right now, Dionysus & Bacchus are caught up in a t-square with Venus: massive bacchanalia & decadence vibe for peeps born at the end of Pisces, Saggo & Gemini…Hmmm.
