Inside Every Ram Is A Lamb?

Filed in Aries

Surreal Art Girl with LambLori Earley

Some say that inside every Ram is a sweet little baby Lamb.

So the Ram – like many an Aries – is renowned for foul temper, habit of butting up hard against crap in its way – no nuance – and fleeting devotions to many an Ewe, ram-bam, thank you m’aam though the ‘thank you’ might be a bit much for some Aries peeps.

But the LAMB, wow. The lamb is a creature so famous for sweet innocence and fragrant goodness that the Bible goes on about it. Rams pick fights where-ever they go, lambs – left to their own devices – gambol about in daisy-filled fields.

IS there a Lamb inside every Ram/Aries?  And all we need to is keep on with the profuse flattery a.k.a. Respect to unlock the Inner Lamb?

Or are there some lamb-type Arieans?

Whilst we are metaphoring the astro-symbols, are some Aries peeps just sheep, perfectly content to follow the herd so long as they’ve got a steady source of sex, loud speakers in their car and income to maintain status equilibrium?

Thoughts, please.

Im an Aries sun with libra moon and sag rising. When I was younger I was definitely more on the ram side but these days I’m feeling more like a lamb. I get confused because the libra seems to put out my fire.

yes if you think of it in being pure in one way or another there are lil lambs at times..l know my venus&mars are…pure childlike lambs!

I’m an Aries Sun

“perfectly content to follow the herd so long as they’ve got a steady source of sex, loud speakers in their car and income to maintain status equilibrium?”

EXACTLY! That is all I need to get by. Also Redbull/Coffee, Laptop, and Smokes and roof over my head.
Merc may still be rx but your posts are spot on mystic.

But I can’t stay in the same place toooo long…that is literally depressing. And if I am stuck somewhere too long I will rebel or shake things up, whether it’s a wise choice or not.

Love the Aries lambs, I know them, springing around being cheeky. Aries rising here might be a little biased but I love the truth an Aries brings, uncomplicated, blunt but never offensive or cruel. Just blurt it out and spring off. Favourites!

I also forgot to mention: mine is also a union worker, part-time for an airline currently, and abhors injustice. The angry and well-chosen words in a spew of honesty streams from his mouth just like the poetry he later writes after a visit to the garden. Rather adorable.

Content is not a word I associate with Aries.

They need challenge, like they need to breathe or they get depressed and tired.

They do insane things in life , regardless of the status quo because they get bored so easily. They are otherwise , quite peaceful unless something gets in their way. Money offers choice. Status is an end result not a means to an end.

Damn right.

Money offers choice. Fuq status.

ArienScorp

I agree. I think boredom has driven me more than anything. It’s like a death, sitting there with the mind blank and no mental, physical or material challenge in front of me. I like being older because the challenges are more intense. So many things people say you can’t do waiting to be swept away and done.

My bestie (Ram Sun, Rising, Mercury and Venus) is almost comically Aries but definitely a lamb at heart – short-tempered, tactless and impulsive, yet blissfully uncomplicated, fluffy animal-loving, and almost childlike so she (mostly) gets away with it!

This might be a given but i think it also has a lot to do with the other dominant signs in your chart. E.G i’m an Aries Sun to the absolute max. Completely reckless, confrontational, eager go getter go go go ME ME ME go go go way to restless but am also incredibly kind hearted and sickly positive to everyone I meet and I put it down to my pisces rising and Venus in Pisces…… But weirdly enough, i have a lot of Capricorn in my chart, Moon, Neptune, Saturn and Uranus……… Lamb = capricorn. A lamb most of the time, except when playing blood sports. Legal ones like suburban rugby are superb arenas of aggression, controlled and uncontrolled. 80 minutes of full on ripping, tearing, high impact bone crushing, ahhhh, I miss it dearly.

it may be specific to aries born in 83 (the year of the pig), and it must also be kept in mind that my sun is conjunct Pisces mercury, but most would say i am i am definitely a lamb. i express aries not through a violent disposition but an experience of acute self conciousness. my mars is in aries, too, and I have been known to stubbornly argue in defense of a cause, many of which my kataka moon deems worthy. Aggressively caring perhaps at times. I have been a surprisingly decent political fundraiser. despite my concerns and interests… Read more »

Ha haa. Compliments. My good Aries buddy doesn’t need them as she always manages to compliment herself! One day, i thought, oh maybe she does that because she’d like one from someone else. So i gave her a specific and sincere compliment and she basically said, “Yeah I know” 😆

Pisces part of me whistles: “Where the flip does she get such a healthy ego from?”

By the way, bit of Aries love because I love the heck out of this girlfriend. I can be me as me, straight and unsmiling as f* and speak quick hot and sharp, just how i like sometimes, and she can take it and love me for it. How cool is that? And Aries grandmother… holy sh* she’s gone now but the legend lives on! A tiny little irish ball of fire, who married a french scorpio. Brave woman. Funny Millie, I have a Piscean Grandmother who was continually stretching my imagination with ”make-believe” scenerios. Also spookily psychic, knew when i was in trouble. I once walked past her in the kitchen with my gemini cousin and she accidently broke wind (Goddess forbid she do THAT in front of anyone) , she was shocked when she saw us and said she just stood on a frog, i believed her and kept walking, my gemmie cousin however insisted she lift her foot and come clean ! ( i would have been 6 and him 7). xx

milleunanotte

Yes, mine was also definitely psychically AWARE, and would have dreams. She knew before our ma when sis went missing. Phoned to say check the cot. She has passed, but for a month before we had some bad news of fam in trouble, ma could smell her perfume and kept dreaming of her trying to say something.

yes! these attributes are 100+% within the lamb-ram … my husband is a Libra-Asc, Scorpio Mars, Aries Desc, Sun & Moon, so it is rather intense, rather charming, and rather lamb-y.

brazen leo rising

Wow, Asc opposite Sun AND Asc opp Moon is interesting. That sure gives a new meaning to ‘Libra whim of steel’, as MM described in previous posts – Libra is like an Aries underneath only they just look fluffy. Literally, your hubby would wear the Libby charm mask of Asc and underneath is a hot lille bolt of Aries exalted Sun. I’d guess you are a fire sign also based on your hubby having Aries Dsc – he’s attracted to fire signs…

lady j

SO TRUE! interestingly not i am not a fire sign – i’m a gemini (sun, venus, mercury & moon, although moon cusps with cancer it’s rather interesting) and an aquarius asc. mars in pisces, jupiter in aries. his midheaven is in gemini, mine is in sag (which is opposite my gem conglomerate of phenomenal planets, and also houses uranus, neptune & chiron). we both work in psychology and in the arts, he in music and writing and i in community muralism and fine arts. when we met, i found out his band was named after an esoteric visual phenomenon i… Read more »

Nice to hear some sweet stuff about Aries Men. I just referred (on another post) to what my mother called Aries dad…

a mean, miserable, rotten son of a bitch…

but don’t let that stop you….

I am totally kidding and yes, it is nice to hear some nice things. I’ve worked with a couple of Aries men and they were totally fun (and cute) as hell.

Me and dad are close by the way. We take turns calling once a month. He lives in Montana…he is 78 bless him and still flys his airplane. Oh no, ain’t noone gonna keep him down..

ABSOLUTELY. Haha to remote in the mouth! For me, I adore the bulldozer of honesty, so his ego is nice and stroked when I need for him to tell it like it is. yes, i agree also. aries boy (virgo rising) in highschool was total lamb-type, softie, sweetheart, sensitive (so much, used to get beat-up, a backlash after got recording contract), was even concerned when first playing in his band at school and in front of his mum that it may be too full-on for her (cover-wise).
as sweetpea noted, sun is exalted in aries.

the virgo librarian here, changed id to my rising which uranus is now trining, and natally trines my moon on mc, and sextiles my sun.

love the pic MM.

what a wonderful gem eclipse, by the way. was on my lilith!

Aries 1st house Sun Mercury and Jupiter on the Aries point. I’m a lamb who wants everyone to get a fair shake & to have a good time, and who does not want/like/need compliments. Do not blow smoke up my butt because it is unwanted. What I need is loyalty, honesty (just don’t lash me with it!), true partnership, a bit of acknowledgement/credit for my efforts and reciprocation. I also want to be enjoyed. Not adored but simply enjoyed. Treat me badly or corner me and the ram wants to charge but is only sparingly allowed to.

Yes they do have lammy-kin powers underneath the wool. I think it takes a special someone to unlock it. Aries is the 1st zodiac sign so i think they have more in common with hatchlings/babies/new beginnings and what not.

Lambikins Ramikins? I went for years surrounded by people who would not allow a single show of weakness or vulnerability out of me. Hell no, I had to keep the world safe and have all the answers. I was strong and they were there to lean..

Being pissed off enough about never being allowed to be a screw up, whiny, needy, imperfect and all the things real people are led me to a lifestyle revolution.

But sweet and innocent and cuddly, soft and warm? Always, for the right people.

Jeepzus Mystic…just when I was going to go to bed. No, I don’t relish butting against anyone…just my own inner Cappy Moon/Saturn square Aries stuff walls.

My best friend is an Aries. When I first met her I thought she was really brash and aggressive; talking really loudly, swearing all the time and being all spur of the moment. That was my only first impression though. After I got to know her she proved to be the sweetest person with definite lamby tendencies. She’s got a big heart especially when it comes to kids, puppies, and helping others. And when I visited her last summer one of the first places she took me to was an enormous rose garden. Lamb, not ram, that’s me! I’m channelling positive, cute and playful these days and possess heaps of energy for all that gamboling about plus I know how to work the vulnerability/gullibility thing to full effect. I have learned from the painful lessons of my headstrong youth to only do stuff from the heart now. Ramzilla just alienated a lot of people before I found the wisdom to tone myself down. Definitely we have lambie pie tendancies….

Flattery is not the secret tho…..!… It’s undestanding our moods…..yes we may shout and get all rammed up- but two seconds later… gamboling!

Frolickin and gamboling is usually just a hairsbreadth underneath the tough behavior… Most peeps don’t stand up strong enough in pointing out how much more love and cuddles we’ll get if we stop stomping and tickle out bellies long enough for us to show our lambie side…..!

Currently dating an Aries guy, and he is a TOTAL sheep/lamb. He’s cuddly, easy-going, cheery, affectionate.. actually, the image of a lamb frolicking in a field seems rather fitting.

He does have quite the appetite for sex (and cuddles), but also enjoys loud, angry music, and does occasionally get very angry at small things. But he’s definitely happy-go-lucky, not terribly competitive or adventurous.. he’s quite content to spend the weekend with me playing video games, cuddling, and eating my cooking 😛
