Okay, by “taken” i mean married or similar, not possessed lol.
The Moon in Aquarius (now!) is fantastic for divination as it is (a) nearing Neptune and (b) a time when peeps are more likely to be able to detach and actually read the cards (or I-Ching, Runes, Horary chart, whatever) without infusing wishful thinking into the mix.
So anyway, i.m.o. the cards are always right – if you’re asking an original question and doing it in an if not sacred, at least uncluttered space with respect. It’s our interp that can get messed up.
And one weird thing i’ve noticed is how often the Justice card comes up in love readings. Like w.t.f.? We’re going to be going to court together? He has to pay his tax bill before he can call me?
But i’ve figured something out; when i was doing the mini Tarot consults and with my friends and I, the Justice card appears in a reading about a potential lover-suitor-character of interest when in fact the person is married. Or intending to be married. Or living in a situation with so many joint ties/shared $$$ etc that they may as well be married.
I found this SO much the rule that when Justice popped up when someone was enquiring about their Ex/cute guy at gym/person who seems interested but is acting weird I would confidently email back that she/he was married. And then sit back to wait for (a) the response that that was crap and then (b) the “o.m.f.g how did you know?” response.
If you’re just curious about whether someone attractive is available a not, do a quick five card reading (past-present-major influence, the ‘advice’ card and outcome – real easy) and see if Justice appears.
If person is actually married but would prefer that this not be known, look for the Seven Of Swords and while i am banging on about this, if you get the Devil card in a romance reading, you might want to slow things down a bit and/or do some sleuthing. Seriously.
Example: I did reading for this woman about whether or not X was going to commit to her and i get ALL THREE of these cards. I’m like not wanting to give her such crap tidings so i maniacally shuffle, do it all again – same cards. So i email her this unpleasant news, she gets back to me with “no, no he’s just really busy with complicated business dealings at the moment, import-export and his mood disorder, right…?” Three weeks later she emails again to say that Mr Devil-Seven-Swords-Justice was not only married but on coke and embezzling his biz partner/wife.
FYI: the astrology of infidelity is here.
Speaking of Divination, i am revamping the Oracle this week – it won’t be up till the redevi but is going to be fabulous!
