I prefer writing to reading (mercury in aries = know-it-all, we learn by osmosis) but when ever i DO happen upon a description of the 12th House, it’s usually really annoying.
It’s often described as the “house of self-undoing” like some sort of dreadful shit-hole where we metaphorically crawl off to be completely hopeless and get wasted sort of thing. It’s the same way Neptune & Pisces get some really crap publicity.
I get at least three emails a week from people (usually teenagers) freaking re some awful description of Neptune/12th House/Pisces planets.
And btw, Neptune IS in Pisces now. So what is there to hate? Us? The Now? Okay, admittedly nearly everyone i know is either hitting the Blue Devil Hoochie Juice or other Neptunian substances hard OR they’re on a bee pollen & tantric meditation myo-fascial sort of a high. But still out of it half the time.
So i think we will start by re-habbing the 12th House.
I am obviously biassed because PLUTO is about to go into mine. So no way is there going to be any sort of a Pluto-hyped self-undoing situation. What could i do? Date Hades? Start a really bent cult?
No-no-no. The 12th House is good.
So take a look at the sign on the cusp of your 12th House and forgetting everything you have ever been told or thought re the 12th House, let’s just say it is the sector of magical and amazing resources, that you may take a little while to remember how to use. Lets ramp it up and say it’s like your karmic gifts from a past life.
Yes, even though it’s true that 12th house signs/planets are often things we shun at first.
Mine is Capricorn – no planets – so clearly i have a Composed & Capricorn within me, somewhere. Like the New Queen, returning to reclaim her throne. You are allowed to be mythological and Jungian in seeking to understand your 12th!
