Numerological

Beyonce "No One Can Define Me"

“Everywhere I look, I see them calling it ‘4.’ I had a whole other name and concept, but I keep seeing that the fans love the name ‘4,’ and I think it would be a really nice thing to let them name the record. We all have special numbers in our lives, and 4 is that for me,” she said. “It’s the day I was born. My mother’s birthday, and a lot of my friends’ birthdays, are on the fourth; April 4 is my wedding date.”

Beyonce…

In Western numerology, Four is sort of like Saturn but in Chinese astro, it’s got a sexy vibe, the Feng Shui star to beware activating lest you suddenly go ape with the promiscuity already. I love how she thinks though.

You know how Beyonce looks, well, sort of amazing and full on? She’s got Moon, Uranus & Lilith all Rising in Scorpio.

Plus she is multiple conjunct Libra: Mercury, Saturn, Venus, Jupiter and Pluto…And then there is her actual Virgo Sun, slightly out-gunned by the multi-Libra pulchritude and mega-Scorp sexual Qi.

Maybe that Sasha Fierce alter-go was the Scorp bits and the more croony her is the Libra aspect? So Venus in Libra versus Moon-Lilith in Scorp?

Do any of you guys have a lucky number and/or belief in numerology?

  1. I am a 33 in numerology. Master teacher number. Always had a thing for 3’s. A year ago moved in with a new bf, house # 939, haha. Has been intense year for learning and evolving, for sure.

  2. I was born on the 8th i have just gone into an8 cycle and i have just read its something to do with Saturn wow what a year i hope its good!

    • imagination & creative abilities – but is that your name or your birthdate ? Birthdate is similar to the natal chart as the overriding harmonic but your name is the one that tells all – the journey you make through life is expressed through the letters of your name – similar to a progressed chart you travel the journey of each letter in your name separately and when you get through the name you start at the beginning again only with the knowledge gained from all the utterances of the letters in the last cycles. Repetition of a letter indicates a strong theme flowing or a blockage/challenge to be worked through. The consonants added without the vowels show what you express to others. Is not just your birthdate is amazing ancient system of harmonics.

      • interesting, you made me go and look. I like numbers in general I am not one of those so into this or that. My birth number is 3 (30)

as for name i am going to figure that one out. thanks doll. xox

        • funny i figured you’d be oozing master numbers. so your first name is all about making ideas become reality – as in you actually have what it takes to make shit happen if you put your mind to it, idealism but can be made concrete – and you have the 3 to back it up with creative ability and networking skills – priceless. I wish I had my notes. I’m guessing the 77 is uber spiritual – and if it’s taken down to the 14 I have a vague memory because it’s the number one of my family lives with that it’s a path of tests and delays – the obstacle course as life. But you’re up for it. You don’t get that path unless you’re up for the challenge.

I’d forgotten how much I loved this – i used to be like rain man sitting round adding shit up when I first learned it all. Am inspired enough to unearth my old notebooks.

  3. Does anyone find that there’s a connection between the numbers they’re drawn to and their astro sign? My life path number is 7, like I said above, and when I reread the description it sounds very Scorpio!

“The Life Path 7 suggests that you entered this plane with a gift for investigation, analysis, and keen observation. You are a thinker of the first order. You evaluate situations very quickly, and with amazing accuracy. As a result, you are thorough and complete in your work, the perfectionist who expects everyone else to meet a high standard of performance, too.

A Life Path 7 person is a peaceful and affectionate soul. But you guard your connection to people carefully. It’s easy for you to detect deception and recognize insincere people, and you avoid them. You aren’t one to have a wide circle of friends, but once you accept someone as a friend, it’s for life. It’s as if you must get to know someone a lot better before you allow the wall surrounding you to be penetrated. Chances are you are a very charming and refined individual with great poise and a quick wit. Nonetheless, there is an exclusiveness about you. You probably aren’t a very social person. Your reserve is often taken to be aloofness, but actually, it’s not that at all. It is merely a cover up for your basic feeling of insecurity. There’s no rush, It takes time for you to warm up to new friends. Clubs and organizations hold little interest for you; you are not a joiner.

You actually like being alone and away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. In many ways, you would have fit in better in much earlier times when the pace of life was less hectic. You need a good deal of quiet time to be with your own inner thoughts and dreams. You dislike crowds, noise, distractions, and confusion.

The overwhelming strength of the number 7 is reflected in the depth of thinking that is shown; you will garner knowledge from practically every source that you find. Intellectual, scientific, and studious, you don’t accept a premise until you have dissected the subject and arrived at your own independent conclusion.

This is a very spiritual number and it often denotes a sort of spiritual wisdom that becomes apparent at a fairly early age. A built in inner guide providing a strong sense of intuition may set you up as being a law unto yourself. Whatever spiritual position you take, whether traditional or bizarre, you will cling to it with fervor. Once you have decided an issue, it is almost impossible to get you to revisit the question. Adaptability is not your style, and change for you is a rarity.

You rely heavily on your experiences and your intuition, rather than accepting advice from someone. Your hunches usually prove to be very accurate, and knowing this, you follow the directions they seem to guide.

In the most negative use of the 7 energies, you can become very pessimistic, lackadaisical, quarrelsome, and secretive. A Life Path 7 individual who is not living life fully and gaining through experiences, is a hard person to live with because of a serious lack of consideration for others. There is such a negative attitude. Indeed, operating on the negative side of the 7 can produce a very selfish and spoiled individual and living with one can be a challenge. This may be why some 7s actually prefer living alone. If you have any of the negative traits they are very difficult to get rid of because you tend to feel that the world really does owe you a living or that in some way you are not being fairly treated.

Fortunately, the negative 7 is not the typical 7, at least not without some mitigating positive traits. This number is one that seems to have some major shifts from highs to lows. Stability in feelings may be elusive for you.”

  4. 😯

I was only thinking about numbers and patterns yesterday morning but didn’t get time to post a comment…

I was born on Friday the 13th so naturally I like the number. I also like the no. 1 from when you add up your date, month and year of birth. But what I find really is interesting is the pattern of numbers in my family…

    Mum’s b’day: 31st
    Dad’s b’day: 22nd
Mum & Dad were married on the 13th
    Sister’s b’day: 13th
    Brother’s b’day: 14th – just missed out on being 13th by minutes
    My b’day: 13th
    Dad passed on the: 31st
    Mum passed on the 23rd

    I see lots of 1’s, 3’s, 4’s and a few 5’s… 😯 And they all add up to 13!

I generally like 3’s as I am multiple conjunct Gemini in 3rd house. I like 4’s also and that is my 4th house with Mercury, 5th house is where my true node and the 1st house is Pisces rising and my dad was a Pisces. I have always lived in houses those same numbers too.

  5. Its number plates and master numbers for me. I have had a heavy couple of weeks and yesterday I saw at least 10 number plates with 999 (conclusions/endings/full circle etc). I see 888 every day but the rest change, sometimes a week of 555 (fav) sometimes 333 222 etc you get the gist. Lots of 111 starting to appear and that certainly reflects the new beginning and flow I am currently undertaking.

I am still unsure what 666 represents to me, some say goddess energy, some say “what are you NOT seeing energy”.

  6. Currently going through a master numbers phase as well …

5 seems to be a strong number for me – the father of my son is born on the 5/05, I am the 10/05 and our son is 15/09 … unknowingly, we named him a very strong reference to the number 5 as well. Beyond that I don’t know much.

    • I read 5 is a soul path number, but also it’s the only number connected to all other numbers.

Draw a tic tac toe grid and pop the numbers L to R from the top left square, you’ll see it.

  7. 555 = change. They are my numbers. Midway between the spiritual & the physical.
Read just yesterday the number for Gaia is 55.
Master numbers 11/22/33 cannot be reduced. Powerful & lucky if it is house
number, a lot to live up to.
Best luck has been in 3 houses or numbers that reduce to 3 = Uniting.

    • I posted a link above somewhere to Massive Attack’s song “Three”.

The lyrics feel like i’m singing this song, but it’s not my voice.

“but i wish i knew that number
that even little children seem to see”

      • Yes, I’ve just listened to it. I LOVE Massive Attack. Have you heard Heligoland? Paradise Circus was the theme music for Luther, if you ever saw it. The psychopath Alice is one of the best villains/heroines I’ve seen in a long time. Looking forward to the next series of Luther.

        • Mmmhmm…Heligoland…Luther. Very interested. Going to check these out. Thanks for the recommendation, Libraquarius! I’ve been into Tricky’s Mixed Race of late.

Now what’s not to love about a psychopath named Alice? My mind is racing with images of twisted wonderland, my very brain is GRINNING yah!

  8. the numbers 11 and 22 seem to pop up everywhere i go. and for some reason those numbers just make me superduper happy. they’re my favorites! but i have no idea what they represent (sniff, sniff)… anyone?… anyone?…

    • I went through a period of about six months one time where that was happening to me all the time. I saw the number 11 EVERYWHERE. I finally just did some internet research on it – you can find a lot there, but the info was all over the board; nothing ever really resonated with me that would explain the phenomenon. Maybe they just make you super-duper happy. Try making a wish every time it happens.

    • They’re master numbers! Highly charged, strong vibratory numbers that hold a lot of transformative potential for those possess them. Wonder if they pop up in your numerology..

I’m a domesticated 6, potentially a rare 33 (significant Masonic number?) but don’t think I’m vibrating at that level just yet! (Mystic’s son the same) Also, it depends how I add it up, can work out as 24 too. Soul Path 7.

Recall Linda Goodman interpreted the double digits in her Secrets Codes of the Universe book.

  9. “24 – It counsels and comforts others. It likes music, particularly rhythm. It represents domestic struggles and divorce.” 24 is my favorite and incidently the number of the flat i grew up in, where my parents beat the shit out of each other and finally divorced.

  10. haha, seems like a lot of people are into the number 7! i do like numerology, and i’m actually a 7 life path. from what i have read about 7’s, i think that the number definitely reflects who I am and my behavior. It’s interesting though, because 7 is also my challenge number. I love my pinnacle number 9, which I also find very accurate.

  11. 3 has always been my lucky number. Then when I got into numerology I found out my birthdate number is 3. Then I found out my astrological rising sign(virgo) is at 3’3″. Crazy.
I have 3 children. I also like 7 and duplicate numbers like 11, 44, 77, etc. I prefer odd numbers.

  12. 7, because its prominent in my birthdate….which actually adds up to 4 in numerology but oh well. I like 7 alot more.

  13. Growing up I loved the number 8, and I was born in August so maybe that’s why. I also like the #2– which features prominently in my personal numerology.

But lately, I’ve been massively drawn to master numbers. Every day when I look up at the clock I see 111, 222, 333, 444, & 555.

I’m also moving away from the numbers 2 & 8, and I’m gravitating towards 3 (For those of you who watched “Schoolhouse Rock” know three is a magic number! LOL

  14. Birth date: 27/7/71
    Life path no: 7
    Current unit/street number: 2/71
Last four digits of mobile no: 2707
Last four digits of direct phone no at new job: 7207

All random.. Clearly it’s all about 2 & 7 for me this time around!

  15. My life path number is 4 – but it seems to have negative connotations – like a life of discipline and hard work 🙁

    • Yeah me too…seems like hard work..

Was told by a Polish psychic that the life path number 4 attracts a lot of jeaoulsy, because it seems that material things come quite easy to us.

  16. Three and nine are my favourite numbers, they’re the only ones in my numerology chart. I think three is a stand-out, though, I love it. And the 3 homes I’ve lived in have been the best for spiritual development. Interestingly, when we lived in an 8 home, the money poured in. We moved into a 1 home and the money promptly poured out 🙁

    • what happens when you live in a flat do you add that to your house number? that would make me 7 which is my birth number and my lusty’s number . it signifies to “believe” .Totally resonate with that completely e.g got told by a friend that i wasn’t having a relationship as he is a lusty not bf. pfff I said I believe in what we have and in lots of other things to that keep me real and sane. Now I m off to play with the pixies in the bottom of my pantry Ciao

  17. 13!! I have always had a deep connection to this number, but it was cemented when our son survived an emergency-C section on the 13th! Four years later, our daughter was born on August 5th (8+5=13) and that’s when I realized my husband’s birthdate, April 9, also equalled 13!! Who said the number 13 was unlucky… au contraire!!!

  18. Always been into numerology, but I don’t use it much.

I love the number seven because I see it as green, my favourite colour.
I have mild synesthesia and all numbers are coloured.

Four is red for me. Four, fire, fourth dimensional links, over structured and heavy. Like a Taurus with Aries rising. Baking pots.

      • One is white, two is blue, three is yellow, four is red, five is light brown, six is black, seven is green, eight is indigo, nine is umber and 10 is white/translucent.

I always feel like it should be self-evident or that everyone can see it!

Vaguely remember as a kid wondering when we were going to talk about colours and numbers and how we never got to that in class.

        • I love blue. My favourite soothing peaceful colour.
          White, blerk.
Black and red are the other ones.
That is me then, 2, 4 and 6, blue, red, black
          I don’t understand numerology.

          • That’s interesting! Most people can come up with some colours if asked and they are usually really different. Nice!

            • When I was young, numbers were not only colors, but had personalities as well. one was kingly, but in a staid manner; two was an airhead; three was infantile; four was a know-it-all; five was a Gemini (playful); six was butch; seven was (of course) “out there”; eight was intellectual; nine was adventurous . . . I once admitted this to a group of attorneys I worked with and the stares I drew made me vow never to reveal this again. Hope I’m safe here though. All the letters in the alphabet have personalities too . . . .

              • 😀 Hooray for synaesthesia! My numbers and letters have distinct personalities too! I amuse myself with it when I lie awake at 3am. What a revelation when I learned that not everyone experiences the world as I do; suddenly so many things made sense.

                • Totally get your personal response to numbers! I never went that far as to intellectualise it, but I see it too. So funny. One is like a grumpy little sprout, two is a cheeky star, three is a sleek cat, four is bad tempered table, five is cave, six is shiny black tourmaline, seven is .. my avatar! eight is the top of a jelly fish, nine is painted colour of umber on canvas!! How bizarre, thank you for helping me take myself on this crazy little dream. Hahahah!

                  • Oh, Andromeda, your number-personalities are so multi-dimensional, I love it!

        • I used to think of numbers in colours as a kid! One was yellow, two was blue (like you), three was orange, four was green, five was red, six was purple, seven was yellow aswell, eight was orangey-red and can’t recall nine.

Have you heard of synesthesia? People who taste texture, hear colour, etc. Kandinsky perhaps? His painting are a melody!

            • Fascinating isn’t it?! First heard of the “condition” from a make-up artist actually! You’re way kind, but am defs no genius. I work for one though 🙂

Maybe our brains filter everything so much that we can ONLY see colours rather than hear, smell and taste them, etc. That’s what came to my mind anyway.. Would assume it would be bit overwhelming otherwise — sensory oveload (eg. Autism).

  19. This is somewhat irrelevant to the numerology thing, perhaps more appropriate on the Leo surreal thing but hell iPhone wine etc.
I’m a 22 BTW which reduces to one or something and means I am suppers to be lost ever searching for the other 2 or something? U don’t know about these things.

Funny thing I do know, unfortunately, which is like a downfall I think, blaming the goddamn Pisces moon. All that north node venus Jupiter merc stuff also aspecting my venus sq the mars of the Aries I wanted to beg to have back in my life the other day. (when the moon was around 23 Leo …) so anyway, knew I’d run into him tonight, sometimes I just do. And he’d be on my mind for days, in a factual (rather than longing or hopeful way, if that makes sense) In fact I forgot, but was somewhere I knew I didn’t want to leave, and thenremembered why when they turned up. Once our conversation slipped back into the manner it always operated I said, socan we be friend again, and he said, well you are the one who bailed, and I said some stuff about why (busy pub) and the said, as he left to go back to whom he was with, the ball is in your court. And that was the end if the conversation. BUT, he’s in therevwith some chick he’s clearly in the process of picking up, which whatever, but the real thing I wonder about is why do I know he will be there and why am I so certain that he is important to my life, (Saturns bitch don’t fall for people often), yet get such mixed evidence at the same time?
It’s bloody annoying to be honest. Like if some hot bloke had come and tried to pick me up afterwards, then cool, but no. Just him turning up with his ambivalence.
    Silly.
And what kind of future is that?
    Weird iPhone typos sorry

    • I read this three times and I still don’t understand it, but I really like the vibe of it – go girl! If you have any wine there, take a shlook for me, xx.

      • Ha, no the wine is done. Camomile tea now.
        I don’t understand it either.
Tell me when I can come be a first client/ guinea pig or whatever

        • Oh well. He doesn’t sound the guy I want to read you are with anyway. Pisces moon is mystical, don’t diss the moon. And cool as cucumber on ice.
Still getting stuff together, let’s check in in a few weeks if you are up for it? That would be freaky!

          • And that rants not really about wondering about some boy. It’s really about how intuition and supposedly karmic connections can come presented in very complicated packages.
Enough so that it may make it all too hard to believe in it?

            • Like Lexi said in the post about dear Blue Lib’s passing, I believe our thoughts are powerful beyond our wildest dreams…

                • Too hard to believe that what I intuitively know (imagine) to be true IS true, because the physical (surface) evidence suggests otherwise.
But then again my intuition can be vague about roles.

                  • o shell, so funny, I was having this EXACT same debate: intuition vs fear of deludin myself vs fear – and it was all in relation to a leo too – how odd – hey perhaps it were you who asked if our dance was one of fear????

anyway, the plot recently, beautifully, thickened but my breath is held – nah, my body is paused but i breathe slow

                  • Ah yes, was me. I was making that suggestion from experience yes.
Glad to hear there is progress.

                • best for your own dance Shell and thank you for your observation back then – i can only suggest sitting with that intuition, no questioning it, sit tight and observe – the dances that require resolving seemingly keep drifting back into one’s space anyway : )

… am passing on my lunar mother’s own advice to me when I was (and am sure i will do it again) doubting my own … as for progress, we dance in millimetre increments 😛

                  • Yes I think that you are right on that. I was just thinking this morning that if I walk away with that lesson firmly planted in my rational brain then that is probably enough.

    • Pisces moon? You can meld your emotional self around the situation. You absorb his emotion and weave your own into and around it. Including your own desires.

“The ball is in your court” means you are the one who can do the changing to suit me.

Two hurt people cannot reconnect in a busy pub.

      • Oh I know exactly what I meant when I said the ball is in your court to him, and yes, as what you said. Silly thing is I was presented the opportunity to say that whilst he was in the middle of a date. (which I didn’t realise till after our encounter). Some crazy sense of humour up there? Mercury being Puck?
I’m not sure he’s that hurt. Confused maybe. Who knows. Not over obviously.

      • Now that I’m sober, and read this again, I’d love you to say what you mean about being able to meld oneself around situation. In proactive language, if that makes sense?

        • “Pisces is the twelfth and last sign of the zodiac, and thus carries with it a little of each sign of the zodiac. As a result, they see themselves reflected in the behavior of others, giving them seemingly boundless compassion. Since the Moon represents our instinctive nature, Moon in Pisces seems to know how things feel without actual experience.

…This ability to empathize even in the absence of experience gives them an open mind and heart.”

          from cafeastrology.

He may have many ideas and feelings about you. But he may not put all those into action or choice. Yet you may be sensitive to the imprints of his unchosen, unactivated feelings. You might accept them more strongly than he does himself, thus seeing him as your lost #2, because that’s what you desire emotionally.

Sorry feeling a bit vague. My illness is sweeping me a little at the mo!

          • My Pisces moon is sq Neptune, I’m constantly bloody absorbing/projecting/imagining emotions.
Lots of fodder for Saturn in the 12th to nit pick at.
Difficult to work out how to make it work for me.
Thanks love, sorry you’re feeling poorly. I hope you can spend the day in bed or something.

            • Thanks for your good wishes, shell. I think you’re doing well at it, putting the things unconscious out there to hold in your hand, look at carefully, and get other views on. That’s immense work.

    • In western as opposed to the chinese school of numerology 22 is a master number shell – you have the ability to have bold dreams and have them take form in the real world. It made sense to see that number is yours. It’s all about devising systems to enable people to make things happen. Assisting in the growth of things.

        • After reading your bit below to Ms I went and worked out the numbers proper (22 is the day I was born)
Birthday number is 5 and name number is 9
5 reads to me very much like a Gemini, and 9 like some cross btw pisces and Scorpio, a Pisces until pissed off maybe.
Of course we read into this stuff what we want. But my 8th house Pisces moon is trine my Scorp NN (which is in the 3rd house)
Funny how the symmetry actually works.

          • YES! the symmetry of the numbers and the astro is uncanny – if you use the chaldean system you notice all kinds of weird synchronicities between the numbers and the chart – the number of my name is ruled by the planet that rules my astro etc. I’m thinking the chaldean system + the fixed stars would be an interesting astro voyage one day when there’s nothing else to do.

          • 9 and 5 is interesting shell – 9 being the completion of the cycle – the pisces vibe you pick up on makes sense and also that 9 is like the “holy” number is spiritual and then the 5 is super freedom oriented – 5’s are quirky. And totally, yes you can read into what you want but is uncanny that you do have the number that seems to relate to your chosen vocation. My whole intense family are master numbers and the one who has the same number as you did similar work to yours for years and now works with charities. It’s a vibration of service to others.

            • Yes the planet number rulers make sense in my case too. I was just going off good old cafe Astro. Started to read about Chaldean things just then, but my brain refused, needs to go build something rational instead. Or eat.
Maybe one day when there’s nothing to do hey.
Hope things are all going okay in your world dear.

  20. 2. My birthday.

Also, I resonate with the 2’s in Tarot. I think its having such a complete divide between my sun in Sag, and everything else in scorp, cept my rising sign, Virgo … (stops me from being MAD according to Mystic. I agree)

I am in 2 minds about everything – but in great detail :)))

I think Numerology is basically horsecr8p, but then I thought that about Homeopathy, and boy, was I wrong about that. Miasms anyone ?!

    • Well on this blog i am a number. Specifically, 1001.

(Note to polyglot Virgos: i missed the ‘e’ on purpose because i didn’t like the look of ‘millee’ when it’s all joined together.)

      • (I’m not a Virgo. I noticed the missing e when I bothered to translate it and figured you’d done it for aesthetic reasons and that actually very few people would bother to translate and notice so id just let it slide and no one else would bring it up either cause everyone has weird names here…) it’s kinda a cute Pisces defensive Virgo thing?

  21. My gorgeous son was born 24/4/94 in ward 4 so the no. 4 resonates with me. I’v heard that a number 4 house is unlucky in feng shui though – any thoughts??

    • Lauren says she loves number 4. The numerological premise is that each number has a particular vibration. Therefore I imagine that different people resonate to different numbers, according to this system.

Also, there are varying numerological systems. The Romans equated numbers to the Roman alphabet, hence a number for your name in numerology. The Bible refers to numbers (check out Apocalypse! But not just in that book). Also the Sepher Yetzirah which has a correspondence of numbers, directions, body parts and symbols to each of the Hebrew letters. Then there is the pattern of numbers in Tarot and other cards, even playing cards. And of course, the Chinese Feng Shui.

You have the power to choose your “lucky” and “unlucky” numbers, belladonna! The love for your son may well make this your number of significance.

    • Yes, we lived in a 4 house once, never again. We neither of us got a shred of creativity going when we were there, and it was really restrictive house, one where we felt confined and difficult to get out at all. When we’ve looked at buying houses since, we check out the number and if it’s a ‘4’, we don’t even consider it.

    • belladonna,
      I’m sure you’re right.
I KNOW that the Number 4 is a very unlucky number in Chinese culture.
It’s pronunciation is like the word ‘death’. So yes, very unpopular.
I don’t know anything about feng shui, but I would assume that 4 would be unlucky within that system too.

  22. hell yeah, numbers are the base of everything , even the planets resonate to a specific number I doubt it’s chance!
I notice that I draw 8 , in numbers/events/birthdays/friendships/ bus. is number 8 and my home is 8!
Must be Sun/Saturn conj. Saturn is associated with 8!

  23. I always had a thing for liking even numbers over odd ones when I was younger. Even was good, odd was bad for some strange reason. 4 was a favorite of mine and still is, though after finding out that my numerology number is 7 and reading an article about number 7 personalities, I really felt a connection to 7 as well. 5 for whatever reason I really dislike. 5 is just wrong. I don’t know why.

    • In the system I was taught 5 is the number associated with obssessive tendances like drugs and alcohol – maybe you just have good instincts? 5 is all about freedom but it has to have come from a good 4 foundation or it doesn’t work. 7 is faith in all its forms be it devotion to spirit or fundamentalism. 4 is about stability and security or the fight to achieve it.

      • Ooh, interesting. What system was that? I’m not sure why I think of 5 as a bad number. I’ve always been terrible at math, but 5 is one of the easiest numbers to work with, so that can’t be it. Left is also bad, versus right. Again, not sure why. In my brain, or at least my brain as a child, good things are aligned with peaceful, tranquil colors, blues, greens, purples, white. All even numbers are those colors to me, while odd numbers are red, orange, brown, yellow. Maybe I have synethesia, like Andromeda mentioned below. Although, I don’t physically see numbers as certain colors, it’s just in my mind that’s how they’re represented. Numbers in kid’s programming and books always seem to identify with a certain color or personality, so maybe the first ones I saw got stuck in my memory.

      • Oh! Just read what you said below about the name versus the birthdate number. 7 is my birthdate added up and reduced, but I’ve always been confused about the name bit. Do you use your first name, your whole name (first, middle and last), or just first and last? What if you have a shortened form that you go by or that other people call you? If I use my whole name my number is 2, but my “soul urge” number is 9 (there are 9 vowels and 9 consonants). My “inner dream” number is 11, though I don’t know where that one comes from. I agree with you on the nature of the vowels and consonants. I have a book that talks all about the connection between words that use the same combination of consonants and that people with names that combine those consonants exhibit certain personality traits. I find that it’s true in most of the people that I know!

        • yeah lots of e’s in a name = heightened emotions I don’t know what system I was taught but I think it might be based on chaldean system I remember there was something wacky about the letter y. It’s usual in the one I learned to use the name people know you as – the one you use day-to-day not necessarily the given name at birth. An interesting book that isn’t the same system I learned but I found to be uncannily accurate is the life you were born to lead by dan millman – he also wrote the way of the peaceful warrior. He manages to convey things in a really low-key way nice easy rainy day with a blanket and warm drink style of writing.
