Sex In A Saturn Climate

Mystic’s link on this thread to Clarissa Pinkola Estes “Red Shoes” fits the Saturnian theme… Yesterday had a mini tarot reading. It had been a year. One of the cards was “death”, so yes, certainly in a transition between lives. The outcome tho was abundance after some struggles. Add to that my dream last night of being in a plane and it turning upside down and me having to hold on, and guess that illustrates how a little frightening things seem at times…. On a fun and healthful note, picked a bunch of grapefruits off the trees here and bought… Read more »

Now I’m craving red grapefuit! 🙂

Bluesky

I crave grapefruit frequently:) Just bought some at the store, and I juice them, too. Yum.

Juiced 64 ounces this a.m.! Good cleanser for the liver (citrus) and bought some Super B-vitamins (was only taking B-6 along with other vitamins) and some Chromium Picolinate. Those are supposed to be good for cravings and cleansing the liver as well. I’m looking forward to the “death” Herbs! Bring on the funeral pyre! Uranus will not hit my Sun degree (11 Aries, 11th) until 2013 and Mercury (5 degrees, 10th) until 2012 but on the way lots of other transits and ZZ central. “Heating the degree” as K. Falconer stated. Surely when something is put in a pressue cooker… Read more »

Hmmm … whatever she’s up to it looks hot!

It’s hot up here in Brisvegas too but don’t think it’s going to get that kind of hot here too … no matter how much I want it to. Can’t do kisses because have the tail end of a head cold. I feel fine but am not allowed to share it with my wife 🙁

So not going as planned here either 🙁

I am living with Saggo Cap rising bf, but being chased by an overseas wealthy ultra-science and save-the-earth-through-nanotechnology Cancer who keeps sending me gifts. If I could combine the two, they would make a perfect man. Met with the Kataka in Europe (it’s all been completely platonic so far) and had zero chemistry. But he keeps popping up and trying to offer me the world, and he has been one of the best friends ever, for months now, the most thoughtful, giving guy I have ever known. My Sagg is a bit… well, he is a multiple Sagg. His Cap… Read more »

I always choose the one that makes me feel the most. It’s not worth faking orgasms over for someone who buys you things. When I was 19 y.o. I tried to stay with a boyfriend who was kind, bought me things, older, and stable but he was someone I did not love. I always thought I would grow to love him but it never happened. And boy did that backfire a few years down the line when I did fall in love! so maybe even dump them both? =^_^= You should probably not listen to me as I am still… Read more »

Been there, done that, and it almost killed me. Foxy, I did have that experience, too. The Sagg has evolved, though. See, we both have Venus in Scorpio. It creates a connection, oh my. I can’t imagine hurting him. The thing is, my cappie sun wants the status, haha, and the princess factor. My rising gem wants passion and adventure, and a little bit of drama to feel alive. Mystic had a link to “The Red Shoes” on one of her January Cap threads. Interstinging in light of the premise of this topic.

http://www.learnoutloud.com/Audio-Books/Self-Development/Spirituality/The-Red-Shoes/16323

Today bought an electric juicer. Have so many sweet grapefruits on the tree out front. Just dying for a fresh glass…good for the liver too..

Just for fun, transiting Asteroids Citron #16068 and Citronella #8965 are conjunct my Nodes at 13 degrees, Point of Fortune 12 and Sun 11!

Citronella 7 Pisces…just two degrees of my MC..

Just knew there had to be something going on for me to be craving it so much.

Oh I love this pic. I just wrote, ‘I live this pic’ before picking up the typo. Freudian slip showing. I am all over myself. Yesterday, my wonderful ex-lover (the very foreign one who lives in the very foreign place I used to live in and who had to go marry his cousin), my now-business-partner for my new business, and I, were discussing payment for his part of the deal (business deal BTW) and he said – I don’t want to be paid, if you are making money and you are happy and looking after your daughter, that’s all my… Read more »

*Applauds!* That’s awesome seabird! I have always wished to maintain those kinds of close friendships with guys after a romance is over. I’m still trying to reconcile how my “would-be” soulmate can insist that he’s my soulmate while still involved with someone else he “loves, but isn’t IN love with”. Twice before we’ve gone years without speaking and then he’ll contact me out of the blue. It’s worked for awhile, this “not being together but still being close friends” thing, but part of me is still too attached emotionally to be satisfied with that. So last time I spoke to… Read more »

Thanks Lauren. This works with him because we stopped the sex when he had to go marry his cousin (he’d already bought her before he met me – don’t go there, parental and societal pressure – poor guy was very upset), but somehow we morphed. The sex was put out of the equation. i wanted him to go and learn to be with his wife, a woman he had to live with and had to make it work with because there was no alternative for none of the three of us. All I have to say is…my sex life is alive and well, lol.

I think Saturn in Libra’s influencing me to be a lot more tolerant of working out the kinks (double entendre?), and the latest Aquarian wave is allowing me to have laid back discourse over the craziest issues..

already have Saturn conjunct Uranus, so I’m well prepared for this mode of living (work hard, and keep an open mind).

whale watching? owl of minerva is symbol of study of philosophy.

Bluesky

I googled and found that, supposedly, the owl can represent Pluto. Is that so?

Also wondered about whale as ushering in new Neptune phase of life. Unearthing old emotions and getting rid of them. Owl as Pluto….would be affecting my 5th house of kids, creativity and lovers. In my life this is kids, kids, and kids. My sun is also conjunct Pluto in 2nd house. Money revolution and wisdom. Values overhaul. Possessions overhaul. Self-esteem overhaul (very true–so much more solid on this lately). Overhaul on how I earn money using Minerva wisdom…

What kind of owl? Each owl species has their own associations.

Bluesky
Bluesky

This owl was a “dream owl” so it was gigantic, white white underbelly and under the wings. It flew over my head, but the funny thing was that it had the equivalent of an owl ID poster guide on its belly, as though the images were a part of the feather design, with headshots of all different owls. The flying owl had a brown head and back—more like an owl with those tufts where the ears would be (are there ears there?).

year of the fox
year of the fox

Your dream sounds fascinating! An owl with a “tattoo” of other owls on it. Owls have ears but not where the tufts are. I know barn owls have ears but one ear is low on one side of its head and the other ear is high up so they can locate prey by hearing.

Anyways, I hear owls are the lunar “partner” of hawks (solar).
Great horned owl = red tailed hawk
screech owl = kestrel
etc….

Bluesky
Bluesky

Great horned!!! That’s the one.

Lauren
Lauren

If the owl was very large then it could also be a symbol of a protective female figure. Female Great Horned Owls are larger than their male counterpoints, so they can look more intimidating while sitting on the nest.

I don’t know in what way you’re drawn to him (physically or emotionally or both), but in my own experience there is no such thing as “sort of” married. You’re either married or you’re not, there’s no grey area inbetween. If you want to be with someone then you should make yourself available to them completely, and not try to be in two relationships at once. If they can’t give you that then it’s better to look for someone who can. Don’t waste a hot frock on someone who isn’t willing to fully appreciate it. 😉

andromeda

Neuro linguistic studies often find that focusing on the positive elements has more success. Perhaps re-phrase? Looking for a self aware, gainfully employed, absolutely single and ethical type of guy etc. might sound a bit more enthusiastic. Best of luck, standards are definitely standards!

year of the fox
year of the fox

At least eharmony accepted you! I actually got a rejection letter from them saying there’s not enough people on their database to match me with. They said they think less than 2% would match. 🙁 They actually said i would have better luck meeting people in person as the type of person I would match doesn’t typically use online dating service. At least they were honest and didn’t steal my money.

Be grateful they didn’t take your money. They took mine, and I now have a (small) trickle of wildly inappropriate gents coming into my inbox, elderly sports fanatics who cite their kids and their mums as things they can’t live without. I am looking for a grown-up who can think for themselves. Also someone who can spell and string a sentence together – at least I can weed them out based on their profile.

And my major peeve is they don’t sort for astro, pet-loving (no thanks), sports fanatics or ethical dealbreakers like pro-choice.

whatevs
whatevs

I’ve never frequented the online dating realms so I don’t know how it works but what you’re saying makes me wonder was there ever a time when all those criteria and boxes to be ticked were satisfied before you even met a person in the pre-virtual dating zone? I mean it seems like now everything has to be sewn up before you even get to talk? Good to weed out the sports fanatics and pro-choicers tho. I see the merit in that.

seriously? well, based on what I’ve seen, it’s probably a big compliment!!! and they do pair me with ridiculously “off” people. I don’t think their system is very well honed. I was going to cancel but the payment went through as an auto renew before I caught it. darn those auto-renews. trying to rid my accounts of anything that would auto-renew… as weird as it must have been to get a letter like that, it might be for the best. there are so many weirdos on there–and not in a good way (or just sad and boring people). I get… Read more »

this last comment was for YOTfox:) My main thought is, you might be flattered!!! You break their stale mold!

Part of me feels flattered and yet part of me feels like a lost striped sock looking for the other striped sock to match it….

Swimming holes and avocados!!! That’s awesome! And kind of sensual sounding? I really don’t get it as I haven’t tried online dating sites but you guys sound so lovely and it makes no sense to deny your money. Boo Foxy, you will find a nicely striped sock one day to fulfil your hearts desire, am sure if it! Can’t believe that 2% bollocks, but anyway, 98% of dudes are probably not any individual’s personal type.

Ah here I come with my 2 cents. I always hear these stories, met on a dating site, got married in a year, happily ever after..which is great for them. For moi? Here’s the rundown: Eharmony: bald, single parent, widowed, 6 kids, needs a mother for themselves and their kids. Or single, never married and it’s obvious why. Or apparently, he is perfection and finally he has deigned to find a serious relationship, thank your stars its your lucky night. Stark raving mad religious fanatic, and expects you to seduce him with Menonite charm. All variations thereof. Names like Good… Read more »

Whoa! There’s a Scorp who doesn’t practice the art of subtlety. o.o

@_@ ZOMG. what an experience…. But yes there seems to be a disturbing number of bald guys with kids on eharmony, not that there’s anything wrong with that. Just not my cuppa.

And yeah match.com is a hookup place. I had heard the same about OKCupid.

I’m utterly shocked about Craigslist after all the weird stories like the Nintendo guy and the CL killer.

But kudos to you for surviving it all! I’m so picky I can barely get to the first date.

Awesome stories FA you write soo well. Another thing doing it of course, but wow!! That Scorp could be featured by MM as a post, OMG.

The Human Centipede !!!! that is the most disgusting, disturbing and pointless movie I have ever seen in my whole life!!!!! I can’t believe anyone financed that piece of shit. I like my Saw movies and horror etc but this is on another level altogether.

FA, lucky you had the good sense to decline seeing that.

Really, I think there’s a book here. And you do a great service when you lay it all out point by point. So glad you’re here to tell us about it!!! The Scorpio…oh my. And yes, the bald, overweight men love me. As do the window washers. And, since I live in the US South, the “rednecks,” or men who just might be missing a few teeth, so their photos are from far away—and grainy. I did concede to try one of those “meet for glass of wine” dates with a bald, overweight guy because his bio just sounded so… Read more »

Yes, there is a book in all that research, and I already have a title for it. It’s “LOL.” Actually, that’s a little dated now, but seemed perfectly appropriate for when I first dangled my line in the online dating waters six or more years ago. It reflects the frequency of the use of the ersatz word and the vapidness of the whole experience. FA’s experiences largely reflect my own. Eharmony for me though has been far worse. Despite living in a hugely populated US city, and being in a professional occupation, I keep getting farmers and ranchers in mountainous… Read more »

Hmm, a service, bluesky? You may have something there. I should write it all out, I know I know.. thanks Andromeda. Ladies, I have war stories, battle scars and the post trauma syndrome to back it all up. Calling it a zoo is actually a compliment, considering the sincerity of animals to their own nature. That we are now in the age of Dating Digitalis is undoubted. But hope springs ever eternal. Bluesky I think there’s a lot to be said for nice guys, who as it turns out are handsomer than their photos. That was my story with the… Read more »

Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh that hideous movie! Seriously (haven’t seen it – just too urggggghh) – that movie made me question whether I want to continue participating as a member of the human race. So sick and tired of sick men getting money from other sick men to perpetuate their sickness in a public forum. I try to be open minded and the like but this just smacks of the severe mental disorder that appears to be overruning this planet – disconnection to the point psychopathology – and calling it entertainment, funny or a comment on society is the most pathetic form of… Read more »
