Turbo-Saturn

Filed in Uncategorized

art girl with daisiesWell we have probably all had a gutsful of thinking/hearing/talking about Saturn in Virgo as in, like, we can forget all about it for another 30 years, right?

Yes, but i have a brilliant (?) new Saturn in Virgo theory that may be of use for some peeps.

I have been talking to some peeps over the last few days and everyone seems to have had some serious realizations re just how succinct and purposeful the phase from September 2007 until just recently actually was. Ie; Saturn in Virgo.

Now, this is the key point. Their growth experience is not only in the area you would expect it to be (where Saturn is transitting) but with the natal Saturn. i.e; the Saturn you were born with.

You know the idea. Your natal Saturn is both the source of your crappiest pain (at first) and then you slowly (Saturn is always slow) transmute the thing into your greatest triumph. Well, you can.

So Saturn in Virgo has meant that one’s own Saturn Process – whatever it is – has been turbo-charged for the last three years. Only now can you look back and see how precise and awesome was the targetting of your own actual Saturn.

Is this because Virgo is the sign of work and service? Something to do with Pluto being in the sign of Saturn? Saturn Squaring Pluto right now? Who knows? But look back to Sept/Oct 2007 for something you embarked upon then that hit on all your insecurities, that you may have been a bit scared of and that you have now conquered.

Thoughts?

Saturn in Virgo was transiting my 12th house, which is also the natal placement of both my moon and venus. I had to conquer so many fears that sprung from the Uranus in pisces sixth house transit. That Uranian period wreaked emotional chaos on both my professional and personal life. By honing in on my 12th house fears, I think I was well-prepared for my Saturn Return in Libra (first house). I’m getting over my shyness and preparing the ground for what it is I want to do and who I want to be, though it is still far from… Read more »

Natal Saturn in 12th and Virgo.

My Saturn Return was all about finding peace, understanding my ‘mother crushes’ and learning to express my feelings. It’s been very long and slow process but I can’t believe that I’ve been successful at all. The zap zone finished it off for me with the ‘mother crushes’ thing.

Am a very happy camper 🙂 🙂

pluto was my first trainer now its saturn Mystic this is so true re saturn lessons took some time to read up placements and transit as saturn will be a big feature for some years to come. thats the problem when your chart is like a piece of pie, one transiting planet goes over the entire spectrum so its almost decade themed. feeling a bit deep and reflective today so excuse the rant x 3rd house natal saturn and its still there, heading for the rest of my chart now.. feel I’ve morphed alchemic since 07. Uh huh … Saturn and Pluto have been pivotal throughout my 30s. In the past 9 years I’ve had a Saturn return, Saturn going over my sun, Pluto doing stuff to my moon and venus both of which lasted two years, back to back and were fuqing intense – so much so that I can’t remember the configurations as I’ve blotted it out of my consciousness, Saturn square Asc, Moon and natal Saturn, Saturn currently square Sun and Venus but trine a bunch of other stuff which possibly makes up for it. My 20s were relatively cruisey by comparison (though… Read more »

So I’m over 2007 because I’ve used astro to steer my way through it consciously – I went back 28 years – check that out if you’re old enough – and if you’re not check out the times your parents and relatives had in that epoch – time tells.

O god soz if that sounded wanky – jupiter lurking around the MC has that effect if your chart is already all about expression with words – I’ve been mining that 2007 to now phase for gold ever since it started and I’m done with it – digging deeper over the last few days has been like a time portal opening. Looking at the bigger picture has made me see it’s time to step out of the shadow of the parents and their choices – every time they had a crap saturn cycle it cast a shadow on my life.… Read more »

Aaaaahhhhh! Marriage is weird – don’t do it if you don’t feel like it, it seems redundant in so many ways. You can be in love and faithful without a piece of paper and indifferent and out whoring endlessly with one. I like mine but the paper is totally irrelevant to how I feel. It’s really just a form of ID. Mine is the product of an eclipse – we’d been going along for years blissfully and then suddenly after an eclipse it happened. Pisces sun, Saggo moon. My saturn is in Pisces…in Sept. 2007 I fell head over heels with a boy much much older than me, who proceeded to repeatedly blow me off until June this year, when I cut him out of my life with much difficulty.
I think I’m still partially obsessed with him.
I hate being a Pisces.

2007 Saturn was in the 7th (virgo). I wa dreading it. It seemed as if all my relationship angst occured with increasing regularity and pain during that 2+ years transit. Had released some friends and family from my life and felt lighter as a result. Resumed deeper feelings for someone but bless father time as during that perod I saw the whole person: selfish, impatient, moody, flirtatious and critical. I say bless father time because for the first time in my life and without regret I walked away and not towards the relationship. The lessons were tough and the final… Read more »

Put our home up for sale in September 2007. In late October 2007 my father died. I guess I’ve been winding up things to do with childhood crap since then. My friend just did me a Tarot-cum-medium reading, pinpointed stomach and breathlessness from childhood trauma with advice how to let it go without huge trauma. I’ve also been learning to get grounded (7 air signs) and practical (book-writing) and not scattering my energies. Dear old Saturn, gotta give the old feller a high five, lol.

I could write a book about the last three years. Forced growth puts it mildly. Too much happened to write it all out here but thank God it all happened, even though it almost killed me.

Yes lovely, you’re right. I have natal mars, pluto, jupiter and uranus in virgo – as do most people born in the late 60s. I found in some ways saturn helped bring some of the more maverick energies of those planets on to a more even keel although with the saturn on uranus phase it was like some kind of prison because saturn is serious and uranus is a trickster and it doesn’t like being told what to do. Saturn in the 7th doesn’t necessarily mean “old”. I would say “mature, stable, established, boundaries. All things Saturnine. I’m sure there’s a few peeps here who’ve had the Saturn 7th experience.

I wonder what transit Leonard Cohen was having when he spent spent several years in a Zen Buddhist monastery. Hmm, curious.

Top Work robots. You are doin’ it right. Compared with the opposite ends of the spectrum, I reckon ‘mature, stable, established boundaries’ sounds like a major turn on 🙂

wow so meanwhile in a parallel world, I’m discovering astrology is like the homeopathy of time or something. Intense. Liberating. Transparent.

Natal Saturn in the 12th, I feel so free right now I could just and shout something silly, even though Pluto is transiting my first house and conjunct my moon.
wait, Saturn is transiting my tenth house, no wonder I feel so organized and fearless at work! I should look at my own chart more:)

I have natal Saturn in Virgo & I can’t even begin to describe the changes that began in 07. My motto for my Saturn return (that are now etched in my mind forever)….. ‘small successes + hard work.’
