The novelist George Sand was a classic Uranus woman. Or, as I call strongly Uranus influenced people: A Uranian. She was Sun square Uranus and the rad planet was also Trine her North Node. This is her Astral DNA birth chart report here.
She was a cross-dressing, bisexual divorcee and self-supported female creative in an era when that was outrageous. Sand was way ahead of her society’s Zeitgeist.
From the Astral DNA:
Whenever the Sun-Uranus square person tries to be too normal, it is as if rad planet Uranus stages an intervention. Life morphs, often with a surreal or absurd twist. They’re born cosmically hot-wired, electric and allergic to any energy that feels too muffled or dull. Wiki-Leaks creator Julian Assange is a Sun-Uranus person. So was the travel writer and adventurer Freya Stark, who was way ahead of her time: “You have left your props behind you, all the furniture of your life, the barricade of things and people erected by yourself and your forebears against the attacks of circumstance; and circumstance is now all about you.”
George Sand, the author, proto-feminist, runaway baroness and (scandalously for her time) cross-dressing divorcee was also a Sun-square-Uranus person. They can move erratically, make sudden bolts to get out of situations that they’ve just realized are constricting and make jarring, out-of-context comments. They need a grounding diet and physical regime to stop the Uranus Vibe zapping their serenity.
You Can See Their Hair On End When They’re Encountering Saurian Values
And, re Uranus Trine The North Node.
Uranus Vibe channeled through an easy, smooth-flowing ‘trine’ alignment to the North Node Beacon of the Future works really well. These people ‘get away’ with liberation stunts that others don’t. They learn early how to rewire scenarios to suit themselves and they’re often fervent advocates for freedom in other people and creatures. Their contempt for outdated paradigms or laws is tangible: it’s like you can see their hair on end when they’re encountering saurian values.
It was not just her private life that scandalized. She wrote that married women and prostitutes were equals. That is, they were equally enslaved to the desires of men and without financial freedom. A true Uranian.
“The world will know and understand me someday. But if that day does not arrive, it does not greatly matter. I shall have opened the way for other women.”
And she did!
