Saturn-Venusian Transits & Venus-Neptune/Pisces/12th House

cover_3Having Saturn transitting one’s Venus is like being stalked by a scary life coach. If your Venus is between 18 and 26 degrees of a Mutable sign, you’re having a Saturn-Venus transit. Or 18 to 26 of anything but especially the Mutable. It’s very similar if Saturn is aspecting your Ascendent  or Descendent.  Or transitting (I so nearly typed transhitting) your 5th or 7th House.

So my Venus – this is just to illustrate- is at 22 Pisces and trine Neptune in Scorpio. Venus in Pisces peeps are already prone to romanticise – having it trine Neptune is just the icing. So the other day I’m walking out of the gym and my mind meanders to the stupid Uranian & his devastating combo of black hair/blue eyes & how charming he can be when not off his face. Venus-Neptune v.quickly took me to a point where I was thinking how my Saturn his on his North Node and that maybe it is my destiny to sort his life out or something like that.

Suddenly I swear I practically heard the voice of Saturn; ‘get a fuqing grip, don’t date men who are beneath you.’  Now Venus in Pisces is about universal compassion and she certainly doesn’t think people are beneath you. But Saturn is all about setting standards and having the self-control to stick to them. Venus in Pisces never lets go of an ex. She drops them – yes- and usually for someone else but then Venus in Pisces doubles-back & re-idealizes the Ex, just for kicks. It gets Venus in Pisces peeps (Venus-Neptune is similar) a bad reputation but they don’t mean to be manipulative.

Venus in Pisces/12th House/aspecting Neptune has another core competency – apart from compassion and forgiveness; the ability to imbue anyone she considers hot with enormous spiritual qualities & a sense of fate being at play. This is apt for men with the Venus set up as well – i say she as we are talking about Venus here. Men with Venus in Pisces/12th house/aspecting Neptune are usually v.aware of the Madonna-Ho complex. They live there, lol.

So if you’ve got Saturn on your case – right now the Taskmaster is at 20 degrees of Virgo – remember that he is just doing his job & that the sooner you set up some boundaries and enforce them + work about ten times harder than would seem appropriate, the Saturnine stress dissipates & cop the rewards: Health, Wealth & Wisdom.

If you have not read Wuthering Heights, here is the ’study notes’ version lol!  But this question works best if you HAVE read the wretched thing. I read it once as a teenager & adored it. When I re-read it a few years ago, i freaked at what an a-hole Heathcliff was. So, what was your most Wuthering Heightsie relationship & with WHAT sign??? I am thinking tortured, requited but never quite happening, Goth-toned and possibly adulterous with shitloads of  yearning and banked up sexual desires. With or without the ghosts and wandering the Moors at night…

Also, while we are on this, Wuthering Heights is MEGA Venus-Pluto & what signs are Cathy & Heathcliff???  How BAD is he?  And is  it just me or is the spookiest bit of the book right at the start, where she comes back as a CHILD ghost???  Soz for the spoiler but the book HAS been out for centuries…

And how unreal is Kate Bush doing it as a song???  She is Leo, of course – hair, red dress, lit references, love of art/performance.She has the same birthday as Emily Bronte, the author of Wuthering Heights.  She also has Venus in Cancer sextile Pluto and trine Neptune…She should do a whole series of Gothic fairy tale love style songs & epic poetry…Venus aspecting Neptune does NOT like the mutual obligation, counsellory end of love. They live for Great Love, soul stirrings and Poignant Moments. Sometimes they prefer things to be left undeveloped, unrequited…anything to avoid the non-poignant Menstrual Bickering In The Carpark At Ikea moments.

This astro-query ain’t about love  nor even committment – it’s about the actual wedding ceremony.  Citing your Sun/Rising/Moon or anything you think relevant, did you ever have a wedding fantasy or fetish?  Bridezilla? Do you think it is important to commerate a great love with a ritual in front of your friends & family or do you think it is a relic from the Dark Ages?  Historically the best man was there to help prevent the bride running away.

As a an Aqua Rising and even though my Venus trines Neptune (romantic), I’ve never ever had wedding day fantasies. Even though i’ve been engaged twice and married once. And Uranus (ruler of my ascdendent) is conjunct Mars and Pluto in the 8th, so i’ve always been able to think of better things to do with the $ then a dress you’d only wear once…the whole thing. And, don’t hate me for this, even when i hear amazing stories of weddings from people i like/love, i kind of tune out. Maybe i read too many feminist books at a tender age? Too many married men chasing me? But i always wanted kids & had them young and love those soppy reincarnated lovers stories. So anyway, I am betting that the Aqua influence is fairly anti-wedding, same with Gemini.  Virgoans I know always do them big and properly…Your thoughts?

NOTE: but i am brilliant at picking wedding dates! Please don’t think it biasses me…lol.

She has to have a creative outlet…Her Nodes are the reverse of Madonna’s so she comes comes from luxury but with the vision of learning to value more subtle manifestations of the light. Note – the literal meaning of luxury is ‘of the light’.

Saturn in Aries on the Midheaven – climbs, responsibility will become a leader as Uranus first squares her Sun at Zero degrees of Cap and then crosses the Saturn & midheaven from 2011 and beyond…Through annhilating (Uranus) some dominant paradigm?  Or a stupendous scandal? Moon-Pluto in Virgo…Austere temperament indeed. Would not pay to cross her…Maternal mortality as cause of her heart so fits the astro.

It just occurred to me that there seem to be two broad types of Capricorn….The austere ones & a slightly more earthy & robust variety a la Nigella Lawson – she of the cupcakes, goosefat and pragmatic sense of  humour.

It’s the same with Aquarians: You get the ravingly bats don’t-fence-me-in Uranian types & then a more Saturnine version (Saturn being the ancient ruler of Aquarius, before Uranus was discovered) with the clinical demeanour and dislike for anything not scientifically proven. Pisceans too are often either Jovial or Neptunian…As in Jupiter was their ruler before Neptune.  So you get these bon-vivant Pisceans prancing about who are more like Sagg & then these Neptunian entrancers gliding about, between worlds & official mystics.

Lol, I actually have not drawn any especially strong conclusions from the previous Sun Sign Query Du Jours

I need a keen astrological intern to trawl through in search of firm conclusions.

Anyway, this query ought to bring up some coherent data…not! No, am sure it will.

Okay, leaving aside hideous and officially abusive etc relationships – WITH WHICH SUN SIGN DID YOU HAVE YOUR WEIRDEST LOVE AFFAIR AND/OR DATE?   I went out with a Gemini Screenplay writer who had a phobia of women’s orgasms. I am for real. A phobia. And he had National Geographic & social anthopology style articles to rationalise the fear.

Something to do with them serving no evolutionary purpose. I know. A shocker. To be fair to Gemini men, i think this one had severe Venus squares. Then again, i have never been out with a man who did NOT have Venus square Saturn, sigh. And MY Venus is so heavenly exalted; in Pisces, conjunct Chiron, 2nd house, trine Neptune, sextile Jupiter…

Anyway, will be interested to read thy comments – no names, no cussing & let’s see if a coherent theme develops.

Robin Gibb’s Pluto Transit

Robin Gibb, from ye old Bee-Gees days.

It’s such an iconic look, it truly is.

For those of you that don’t trawl thru sleb crap as I tend to on occasion, Robin Gibb is an ex-Bee-Gee & v.wealthy Saggo muso. His extra-marital antics (fathering a baby with his way younger housekeeper) prompted the fabulous Daily Mail headline: Straying Alive. The story is bats.

Mr Gibb was born on Dec 22 1949 & that particular year the Sun went into Capricorn on the 23rd. Odd then that his wife, who says she is a Druid Priestess and also born on the 22nd of December, refers to him as ‘a Capricorn’.  And she wear a leopardskin coat. I don’t care if it is fake. Surely a druidess does not wear leopardskin??? It would be way better if she has a gigantic leopard as he companion animal, non?

Okay – he IS a Saggo but she is born – if the date is correct – on Dec 22 1952. So SHE is a Capricorn. Fancy claiming as a fellow Cap, which she does in this article…This may be part of the problem. Anyway, he has Venus in Aquarius trine Neptune/South Node in Libra..SHE has Venus in Aquarius at the same degree with Mars and conjunct the North Node. She’s more the Aquarian avatar & blazingly forward-thinking, clearly trying to have this pioneering open druidic marriage going on.

So anyway, Jolly Jupiter ploughs over their mutual Venus in Aquarius & you’d think it would be great but wham – he goes and gets the housekeeper up the duff & then calls a press conference to claim it is a gift from heaven. Jupiter is always excessive. Always a little bit more than even a Capricornian-triple-Aquarian Druidess who wears leopardskin coats would predict.

This rant, airily throwing in Absolutely Fabulous, Cherie Blair & the Anti-Christ + how the happy couple met is even battier. It makes me feel sensationally bourgeois & sedate.  And, Mr Gibb has been having a Pluto-Sun transit for the last few years. First the death of his twin brother & now this…

A weird consequence of the current astro-weirding is that the truth outs. This always makes me think of the Aldous Huxley quote: “Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make ye mad.”  I think he was joking.  The truth-realisation vibe has to do with all the Aquarian influence enforcing a certain objectivity & thus illuminating the aforesaid truth without all our usual sentiment & blocks being in the way.  And the truth vibe comes through in sudden eureka flashes, vis-a-vis a random connection from something unrelated said by someone irrelevant to the issue, dreams & Freudian slippage. It’s truth re you or truth re someone else. The fact of the matter.

I got two infuriating truth-flashes in a row whilst doing weights at the gym, trying not to look at the news on the plasmas nor listen to this loud, ex-army, Aquarian lady bellowing about how much she hates people who wear iPods at the gym because it means she can’t ‘connect’ with them.

Truth-Flash 1: I still love the stupid Uranian. This despite the fact that any version of even vaguely sane/civilised liasion impossible due to Neptunian substances. Truth-Flash 2: That the Leo-Rising-Aquarian-Rugger-Stud i am dating is married.  As in right this minute. And thus an artiste de bullshit. I don’t know for sure but you know when you think something and it seems awfully apt? This is a man who at first gave me entirely bogus birth data so i’m charging around giving him credit for this enormously sensitive Grand Water Trine that did not actually exist as he was born somewhat earlier. I have Venus in Pisces sextile Jupiter, opposite Uranus and in exact trine to Neptune so have a horrendous capacity to give hot men the benefit of the doubt…

I have my own theories on this which I should save for when the Moon is not Void in Leo (watch dumb decisions based on Ego or misplaced artistic ‘flair’) but does anyone think there is one sign/rising sign/whatever more prone to being a cynical Player than others???  Go on – have a crack. It could be a good distraction from hideocrity and I am not being sexist; you can bitch it up re either gender.
