Venus sign

So there is v.serious article in Time Mag about whether or not it’s empowering to keep dying your hair & an article in the Times about how even young girls are adopting a “gunmetal grey” mane to be cool. I was born blonde and I intend to stay blonde so this is not remotely an issue for me.

But it’s an interesting Pluto in Cap style trend & this is going to make me sound mega-bimbonic, I realise, but i don’t think i actually know any woman who don’t dye their hair. At no matter what age – the only question really is whether they’re adept at d.i.y. or hooked on a colourist habit. My son’s female friends cannot even get together sans colouring their hair – applying gunk onto one another’s roots is how they bond. Are any of you intending to let gray hairs show or do you?

And what sign are you?  No, wait, what sign is your Venus…I am wondering if there is a Venus sign that would say ‘fuq it’ and charge around with their silvery mane. I am thinking Saggo…

Also, I suppose Pluto in Capricorn is going to totally revolutionise the way we treat elders in our society. That or the Pluto in Leo baby boomers will demand it. There are already some extraordinary examples of peeps being amazing – fit, functional, vital, ultra-healthy, gorgeous – at any age peeps used to be written off. Life starts at the Uranus Return Lol.

Is there a Sun/Venus sign more prone to office affairs than others?? Or is it just we all work so hard, it’s  normal & easier to meet peeps at work…?  I always suspect Venus in Virgo & Capricorn as being most prone to get off on the workplace scenario – i picture a diligently deskbound Virgo type falling for the junketeering Saggo bike courier type and, of course, Capricorns falling hard for the boss. And this is regardless of which gender is which…Mind you, Pisceans like to subvert dominant paradigms & if crushes are an effective way to rebel against ‘the system’ – they’ll do it. Aries in an office just assumes everyone has an insane crush on them…Thoughts?

Ages ago, i got sent a review copy of The Rules & everyone who came to this dinner party at my house denounced it on various grounds. End of the night the book was gone – nicked. So even though i was married then, i bought a copy – curious – somebody came over, again, said it was crap – stole it. The local library says it is always their most nicked book as well.

Why Men Love Bitches is actually a fab read though i had to always quickly hide it when any of the Aquarians came over & it fits into the same category as The Rules; essentially – men love/need to chase, don’t deny them that thrill and while you’re at it, have some fuqing standards. There are a few in that same genre and then there are the more New Agie ones where  you’re into candour & honesty, letting someone know how you feel et al. Barbara De Angelis (the ex wife of Men Are From Mars -Women Are From Venus dude) is prob more in that genre. And then there are ones written by male pick-up artists or the genre where men tell us ladies to get with how men actually just are. Sigh. And this is without even entering into gay relationships.

What I want to find out is if there are some signs more or less inclined to ever look at a dating/self-help relationship book?

Also whether your essential instinct (if you are  happily married please just hark back to dating) is to treat-them-mean-to-keep-them-keen OR total goobly candour?

And what approach works best on what sun sign?

I think The Rules sort of work (especially when it comes to keeping your own dignity by not text-stalking etc) but maybe not on Aquarian men. Well, actually they work too well on some men- to the point that the second you relax and are nice/available/candid – they’re evasive.

Venus sign if you know it please!
