Today is the birthday of the ever-fascinating scientist Wilhelm Reich - he of the Orgone Accumulator and Cloudbusting machines. Having fled fascism, he v.sadly died in jail whilst being investigated over his claims. He was researching what he called orgone energy (like Qi only he had it as being strongly involved in orgasms, makes total sense to me) and its role in illness etc. Loads of peeps over the years have become interested in the man and he’s totally worth a google, if you don’t know of him already.

His chart is here and he’s a Sun Sign Aries, obviously, but basically madly Uranian which fits:  Uranus conjunct Saturn, square Jupiter, trine Sun and Mercury. He’s got a Pluto-Neptune conjunction; imagine that. I reckon there will be a big Reichien (okay, YOU think of a word) resurgence as Uranus goes into Aries. Tesla too. Both were yonks ahead of their time but suffered terribly from the establishment of their day.

Obviously, I am biassed because i insanely want a Tesla Dishwasher and a little Orgone Accumulator to go just at my front door.

If you have this much Uranus in YOUR chart, you need to look at inventing something…I have a v.Uranian chart but am infuriatingly hopeless with machinery…

She has Moon in Aries opposite Jupiter – a protective influence, despite the fact she was totally challenging the values of her society – eg; getting custody of her kids when it was not common, particularly if rushing off from an aristocrat to have a lesbian affair et al, supporting herself via novel-writing – AND she had a Neptune-Lilith conjunction in Scorpio. Nice. She was definitely chanelling some darker version of the eternal feminine & note that Neptune the ruler of her chart. Also that Pluto (rising) is the ruler of Scorp.

It is the birthday of the mythologist Joseph Campbell, the gentleman who coined the term ‘follow your bliss’ and wrote some fantastic books, inspired shitloads of people & with dazzling Aries chutzpah, makes metaphysics fun. He’s Sun, Mercury, Jupiter & Mars all in Aries and trine Uranus in Saggo opposite Pluto in Gemini. Who says hard aspects between Uranus and Pluto can’t be FANTASTIC.
