Transit Lounge: The Uranus-Venus Club – Updated

Peeps! I am re-posting this as Uranus-Venus transits already going on – see below – are now HOT for two reasons: Venus is quincunx Uranus, setting them off AND Uranus is retrograding way back to where it was lurking in Feb 2008 and then forward again…So from now till May 2010 is the Hot Zone for your Uranus-Venus transit. Also, Saturn gets involved from now through until September – yay! – So some of us could even have a, gulp, meaningful and enduring Uranian romance. As Uranus heads back to exact conjunct my Piscean Venus, i am totally going to be in the club, hanging out in the comments. Pls read the post and comments to determine your eligibility to join my club.

Last year’s transit of Uranus conjunct my natal Venus bought The Uranian & it wasn’t even exact. It’s exact in mid-March & then again in Nov & December. There is already the Leo-Rising Aquarian Rugger Stud & an Ariean so bats & Uranian i can barely begin to explain it/him.  Uranus-Venus transits are fun but weird. All the peeps you attract or whom zig into your life seem to be ultra-attractive & individuated but really bats. As an example, even my Celebrity Crush – Joaquin Phoenix – has apparently gone totally apeshit bats. That is the awesome power of this astro-passage. Unbelievable.

None of my friends are doing Uranus-Venus transits. So, in the spirit of support, I am offering u the chance to join the Uranus-Venus club. All you have to do to join is have a Venus between 21 and 28 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Sagittarius or Gemini. Also considered Venus in those degrees of Scorpio or Cancer and Capricorn-Taurus.  How do you know your Venus degree? Again, look it up on Astrodienst You all know the Venus glyph & just check out the list of planets in the little box down the left…Look at the number next to the Venus…

Uranian Weirding

As mentioned in the Scopes & Daily Mystic, certain types of control-freaky people are bound to irk this week. It’s to do with good old fixed squares from Venus in Taurus to the stuff in Aquarius.

And then Mars tromps along next week and does the same thing. All during Eclipse Season and as Uranus stations Retro. It is the latter that’s the most likely to inspire a potentially bats-but-not-in-a-good-way impulse.

So should  you suddenly think YES & be on the blower to Acme a la Wile E Coyote, think again please. Wait out the Eclipse Season. That’s till July 22. Or at least till Mars skips into Gemini on July 12.

Weekend Mash-Up, Uranus Retro & Aqua Girl

How was your weekend?!  Mine was excellent though to back to back socialising did in my Sunday & I totally Zen-Slothed.

In my Sunday evening trackies & with my daughter in the suddenly torrential rain, we schlepped past an impromptu Michael Jackson Tribute Street Party – was gorgeous. About 50 people all dancing to really well-mixed MJ. And they were good dancers.  What interested me most is that there were teens through to 60-ish year olds, people who were clearly professional dancers & others who were just picking up on the moves they did at their school formal once upon a time. And the kids krumped.

Uranus is in utter sl0-mo, practically at a standstill, getting set to turn Retro on Weds, just as Venus squares everything in sight. I know I said this last week but – again – it is not a good time to try and control other peeps. Especially Aquarians & Pisceans, also Taurus & Libra…They’re individuating to the max.

It IS a brilliant time to be your own unique yourself, live & let be. Vary your routine. Ditch the obligatory shit – where you can – whilst also honouring the Eclipse-Season Get Real vibe.  The Eclipse (15 Capricorn) is in my 12th  house so my practical resolution is to meditate properly. But remember that the Uranian vibe adds a zany zing to the atmosphere & that not everyone channels Uranian Qi as well as – say -  you or I might.

Don’t bait the crazies. Stay serene & nourish thy nervous system.

My friend Aqua-Girl – who is probably the ultimate Aquarian female in many ways – has announced she is going into “poly-phasic sleep cycling” in the next month. Hence her social availability will be limited and she is totally off coffee and sugar. “A lot of big people do it,” she said breezily. “Richard Branson, Buckminster Fuller…”  I can’t remember the other names.

What it is: you sleep for only two hours a day so that you have 22 hours a day of total productivity. How you do it; You train yourself to sleep – zapping straight into REM – for 20 minutes every two hours. She may or may not use her lucid dreaming goggles during this time. Aqua-Girl sends men crazy. I see it all the time. She has waist length blue black hair and has that sort of archetypal delicate Asian lotus flower look.

But she is a multiple conjunct Aquarian and completely bats. She does nude hiking and surfing, djs, goes straight from a ten day Silence Retreat to clubbing, is an excellent mother to her two daughters & is currently dating a much younger nanophysicist whom she made go to relationship counselling two weeks after they met. Just to tweak a few things.

I think i would go ravingly nuts if I tried polyphasis sleep cycling. I did it by default when my children were babies and it did  not seem to produce the sharpened mind and sudden ability to become an awesomely productive mogul & guru.

Eclipse O Rama

O.m.f.g guys! Tres Eclipse. Remember the last (?) one, with Steve Irwin and all. Sigh.

Okay, I have just gotten back in so shall post on all this later BUT empathies to all…I think Michael Jackson was a musical genius who lost his way personally for a variety of reasons. The thing i said on the blog AGES ago was that because his chart is a Grand Mutable Cross (loads of things in the signs of Gemini, Pisces, Virgo and Saggo all squaring one another) the Saturn in Virgo-Uranus in Pisces opposition would be really hard on him.

And, oddly enough, before I knew anything about Michael Jackson today, i felt the Saturn-Uranus opp kicking in again, with Uranus stationing. And…Farrah, I loved her. As a Charlies Angel when i was a little girl – i always got to “be” her character & later when she was courageous about having been beaten by a lover & made The Burning Bed etc. I read a very sad thing on the web about how she never ever got over  her son’s drug problem & some other possibly really libellious stuff about Ryan O’Neal…

More later & empathies to all of youse feeling sad & weirded out by this news. I actually ALWAYS felt that Farrah would have some glorious comeback – as she was actually always into health and all – AND that one day Michael Jackson would come right…But it was not to be!   MORE SOON…

Retro-Uranian Alert: Emo Emancipation is Nigh!

Uranus is in slo-mo, getting set to turn Retrograde on July 1, next Wednesday. Thus, the next week or so can operate like a sort of mega-bats Mercury-Retrograde, compleat with sensational synchronicities and the chance for some truly Freudian mixed messaging.

Triple-check your e-mails, especially the ones with goss, innuendo, sultry secrets & sordid intentions writ large with CAPS and unique but batty turns of phrase!!!!! Because you could so easily zip them off to Mr/Ms Wrong. Remember that Uranus is the Magician, the Trickster & the Life-Quaker. I don’t mean Quaker as in Puritan sort of dude, I mean ‘quake’ as in shake up.

So this is some Wild Energy swirling about at the moment, what with the Eclipse Season starting as well. It’s Uranian so could be Sudden Growth & innovation but it’s also Cancerian so think a la shitloads of intuitive awareness and insights.

There is a total tempation to go sink into Lower Crab with a spot of pass-agg-guilting and self-pity re whom  you cannot rely on. It’s prob best to rise above it – without being gimped – and think in terms of Capricornian capability, keeping the Crabby stuff for emotional wisdom and using the Uranian qi to work out how anything can emancipate you from crap.

Yes, that’s it. Emo emancipation, capability and fuq all those who’ve ever villified you. Conduct your own orchestra. Innovate. Do YOUR thing. But still be careful as Uranus stations retro…And, spesh alert; the following signs are totally prepped and happy to DROP you 4-eva should you annoy them, try to control them or make even a TWITCH toward an intellectual stance that could remotely be construed as you judging them; Cancer, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces. They will either go you or you will never hear from them again in many a lifetime.
