Sunday and Mars will be in Pisces for six weeks or whatever. Don’t flip but Mars doesn’t function especially well in Pisces. Oh this is not the hideocrity of Mars in Cancer (in its “fall”) nor even the “detriment” of Mars being in Taurus or Libra, the Venusian signs. But Venus is exalted in Pisces, not Mars. Mars just dawdles about & Mars in Pisces can indicate pass-agg crap, an abundance of anxieties and the engine being revved up yet the brakes are on sort of a sensation.
No, it doesn’t help when we are all faced with the challenges of Pluto in Capricorn and the ‘transformation’ of our banking, biz and leadership paradigms. For instance, I received some news today re the weekly Mystic column which means this site is about to become a hell of a lot more capitalist, just to even sustain it & me.
But, Mars is considered the ‘lower octave’ of Pluto; if we are not using our Mars to wage war or stress out, it’s our guts, stamina and ingenuity. When Mars is travelling through a sign which ‘weakens’ it, we get to draw upon our own natal Mars, Qi & mana. Mars in Pisces can see certain peeps acting sneaky and underhanded. Prep to be stunned by the way in which some of your acquaintance/colleagues behave under stress. Mars moves first to oppose Saturn (April 5) and then to conjoin Uranus on April 15. It’s a similar double-jag to that of the Full Moon phase we’re still in: Stress, details, the testing of structures in our life & then the Uranian genius that can be eked out of the situation if you do the Saturn thing with full courage and maturity.
I was having lunch with my editor at the Weekend Australian magazine recently and she asked why sometimes my weekly scopes were funny/flippant/witty/interesting (blush) and other times a bit dull & plodding. I don’t think she was that tactless but, anyway, I explained that when there is astro-crap going down, I consider it my duty to try and be more supportive. Like I am being now. Astrologers can find it tricky to bang on re Mars because he is the War-God & the courage he emblazons is all about vanquishing your enemies -fast in a big display of Shock & Awe. But whatevs, I am declaring Mars bk in mode and onside to help you face your fears, find true grit and shine in some form of radiant leadership.
Mars movements; other than the just mentioned opposition to Saturn and then conjunction to Uranus – April is all about the demolition of moribund structures & one would hope, the recreation of utopion new ones but the conjunction to Uranus in particular can also coincide with shockers of news days – Mars sextiles Pluto next Thursday, on the 19th of March. This is like a little ray of peace, hope, prosperity and enlightened leadership. Stay strong and Semper Fi.
