“JON SAVAGE: When were you born?

BJORK: November 21, 1965.

JS: On the cusp of Scorpio and Sagittarius.

B: My mum is heavily into these things, and apparently I’m as much Scorpio as one can be. To me, whether it means something or not – fuck that, I just love the symbolism of it. It’s pretty, like Greek and Nordic mythologies. I’m supposed to be run by Pluto. It’s like a fairy tale, it simplifies things.

JS: Is Nordic mythology similar to Greek?

B: It isn’t a copy, but it’s got the same characters. In mythology wherever you go, you’ve got the strong guy, the wise woman, the winners and the losers, the travelers and the domestic people. I always like the animals in mythology, like the ravens on Odin’s shoulders.

JS: Scorpio is all about life, death, and sex.

B: That doesn’t surprise me. My three fucking obsessions.

JS: Have you ever had your chart done?

B: My mum did it. I think she took me to all the occult creatures of Iceland, from the age of zero until I was eighteen, when I became a rebel anti-hippie. I got my fortune told and everything. I think I probably believe most of it, actually. I’ve got Pluto in a very important place, and that’s what I’m about. I have to re-create the universe every morning when I wake up. And kill it in the evening, which is a bit outrageous, but there you go.

JS: Hard work.

B: Heee! Well, maybe not every morning, but maybe twice a year I have to destroy everything. I’ve also got my moon in the twelfth house, in Scorpio, and my sun in Scorpio in the first house, and also Neptune. Then on my other half, my generational picture, I’ve got Pluto and Uranus in Virgo, and my midheaven is in conjunct with those two. Virgo is the sign of the nurse, so this means I was born to nurse my generation. I’m still fifty-fifty about whether this is true, but I was breast-fed on it.”

Sunday is a Full Moon in action-Aries so it’s opposing the Sun in Libra, always a fun one for Aries style Respect issues to erupt. And it being in the signs of Venus (Libra) and Mars (Aries) opposing makes it sexy but hell on crap couples. Mercury is aligned with Saturn and Uranus with Juno – it’s like the Alphabet Vs The Goddess a la below! Or Elmer-Fudd consciousness v.s. Bugs Bunny Harebrained Trickster energy. Could be loads of fun polarised flirting and debate, so long as you haven’t got issues stewing beneath your serenity smirk.

Juno is the Queen of Heaven, Uranus is like Prometheus. Mercury is back on Saturn for the third time in a row, due to that retrograde. Messages you didn’t quite grok over the last few weeks are re-sent. Someone, you may realize, ain’t going to budge from whom he/she is. Be practical and energy conserving + observant of details (Mercury Saturn) to get more quickly to the Uranian-Juno blessings. And remember: couples in trouble find this a hard Moon. Hi-Qi peeps out for a good time may enjoy the heightened sexual tensions.

I LOVE the pic above. Raven mythology is sensational. Shall do an extended rave re it one day. O.m.g. the word ‘rave’ come from the olde English ‘raven’ – meaning to dream and wander. Ravens are SO magic.

PLUTO IS STATIONING DIRECT! AND TURNING DIRECT AT THE SAME POINT IT/HE WAS AT IN FEB 2008…SO EXPECT TO GROK SOME SORT OF SUBTLE OMEN RE CHANGES THAT BEGAN THEN OR A FLASHPOINT RE SUCH…

“If you are feeling unstable, freaked out or extra nuts, Pluto is probably acting on you. If you are also feeling excited, passionate or like change is imminent and that is beautiful, then you are probably acting on it. As Steve Forrest says of Pluto in his excellent work, The Book of Pluto, we can take the high or low roads, and both are usually available. It is possible to seize new energy and new opportunities, or be reduced to bitterness and a sense of failure by refusing to embrace the moment. “The high road is always there, but will we travel it?”
“How can we live kindly and gracefully while sitting on the hormonal powder keg?” he asks. “It boils down to one fundamental theme: truthfulness beats goodness. Wholeness in oneself is a greater virtue, and a more stable one, than all the conventional expressions of saintliness rolled up into one glorious greeting card.”

Eric Francis, also quoting Steve Forrest, on Pluto transits. This is one of my all-time fave succinct Pluto rants.

HOW to tell if you are having a Pluto transit?

You will be suffused with yearning etc & a new sensation of being ‘alive’ yet also mentally tormented and stressed by coping with all the changes in your life…many astrologers liken a Pluto transit to being ‘cooked’ so that the flavours emerge.

BUT IN THE NEXT WEEK  OR SO, AS PLUTO STATIONS, EVERYONE FEELS IT – SOME MORE THAN OTHERS, RAVENS COMING HOME TO ROOST & ALL…

Great, huh?

You will basically go insane but everyone will keep telling you how great you look.

If you think you might be having a Pluto transit, keep going (!) and maybe consult an astrologer.

Or think about purchasing Plutonic- your Pluto scopes until 2024

I know how genius a lot of you are at dream interps – help! Last night I dreamed – amongst other things – that i was leaving something mundane like a cafe or a Pilates class & walking through a beautiful park where there was a huge owl and a huge raven fighting. It was not like they were fighting to the death but more like really intense ritualised sparring & yet somehow i got between the two & was sort of trying to separate them.

Googling Owl & Raven symbolism comes up with shitloads of bible stuff (the crankier end of it – such as secret codes & that the owl, raven, hawk etc are all connected to the Goddess/considered unclean) &  I WAS thinking that maybe the Owl is like Saturn and the Raven Uranian…the Trickster….Thoughts???  And has anyone else had dreams lately of two entities fighting?  Or that symbolise Saturn-Uranus?

Things To Do When The Moon Wanes In Scorpio…

* Feed your ravens/cats/bats/familiars

* Write never-to-be-sent Letters Of Shit for psychological catharthis.

* Choose ONE Tarot card at random to mediate upon for the next few days.

* Eat only to fuel your body,  not for pleasure.

* E-shop for ‘marital aids’

* Swot up on sex manuals.

* Write your occult memoirs: Ghosts, psychic moments et al.

* Silently e-stalk some exes for no particular reason.

* Read Baudelaire or the Egyptian Book of the Dead.

* Scheme an ambitious lingerie resurrection.

* Listen to Goth music.

* Flash-Psych: When & how you transformed yourself/your life the most effectively? And how/why?

* Super-Quick Feng Shui: This year the super-lucky number 8 star is in the South East sector of chez You. Zoosh that sector up accordingly…Clean, bright & no clutter…A fountain could be good too but not in a bedroom.

Ever since Pluto went into Capricorn, I have been noticing this trend. I can’t think of a cool one word phrase for it. But it’s basically that people are getting off admiring creatures we usually revile; Rats, vultures & even cockroaches. They’re saying that rather than fussing so much re endangered species, we should be looking at these animals who are amazingly adaptive & complex.  I think that’s v.Pluto in Cap. Admiring the survivors, the winners and the clever hard workers. Even if they are not so rare, beautiful  nor poignantly poised on the edge of extinction as some.

This article is the most pro-Vulture thing I have ever read & super-interesting. This talk by Joshua Klein is also fascinating basically suggests we should be going into business with Crows. It’s totally beautifully bats & Aquarian. An Aquarian and/or a Uranian concept is one that at first just seems so bats but it is actually brilliant. Joshua Klein has invented a box system whereby crows/ravens will fly around and collect loose change lying around – they deposit it in the box in exchange for peanuts. I totally want one.

Have just e-mailed the guy asking if i can trial one on my balcony in return for data collection & also what his sign is. But yes, has anyone else noticed this theme as part of Pluto in Capricorn…The other trend, of course, is a lot more societal respect being beamed at teachers, firefighters, nurses, workers in the community. As opposed to over-heated admiration for bankers and their lifestyles.
