The Moon is now in Leo so we can maybe do this Dark Moon thing in a little more suave fashion…Leos are sometimes said to be bad at copping criticism but the ones I know (along with our Gemini) deflect it brilliantly. They compute whether it is relevant/constructive or not and if it’s just neg-whining, they alchemically transform it into something tres flattering and get back to their beauty sleep/honouring their genius/something compassionate and/or arty.  I confidently anticipate all of us will be more even, now that the Moon has passed Mars and is into Leo…And note also that some  peeps will be going batso at the end of the Mars-Kataka tour of duty. Pass-agg, agg-agg and just a bit sarky. But not us as we channel the powerful Qi of Haute Leo.

Emo Vamps…A Pluto Theme?

This feels kind of retro to me (then again, Mercury IS Retro) but lately a lot of peeps i talk to are mentioning this book. I thought it was way old & sort of obvious but maybe it’s either (a) a new book and i am just outta touch with self-enrichment lit as I all i currently read in that vein are my Wolves book & the Qi guide.  BUT this Emo Vampire thing  is being raved about. Is it feeling super-relevant because of Pluto stationing Direct and Saturn/Uranus new era stuff??? As people consciously try to sift through various aspects of their lives a la the shitfight between Saturn & Uranus?

Years ago i  used to be a LOT more vulnerable to the variety of person described in this book. These days i am way more ruthless & tend to go on a gut vibe. I think this ability to throw up effective shields et al definitely improves after Saturn Return. It’s those Saturn Girl ’set and forget’ boundaries again.

An Aqua Moonwane applies now & through till early A.M. Sunday in the Southern Hemisphere/Saturday in the Northern World. It’s right this moment conjoining the North Node in Aquarius & then later, Neptune, Chiron & Jupiter. Intense hi-Qi meditation & awareness possibilities – fab for any kind of energy work from acupuncture to Feng Shui, Reiki, Homeopathy…Stupendous for dreaming. I’m going in hardcore with some Mugwort tea to enhance my nocturnal journeyings. Note; never ever do Mugwort if you have been drinking wine or similar substance. You can’t do High & Low Neptune at the same time!

And note that the Moon in Aquarius contacting Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune also sets off the Auspicious Aqua-Weirding which intensifies in July (as a counterpoint to the Eclipse Madness) and climaxes in Feb 2010 as Chiron & Neptune make a relatively rare conjunction. Again, where-ever you have Aquarius in your chart is where you’ve just gotta be ultra-New-Age re everything; it will work beautifully if you can pull if off. And where-ever you have Virgo, you embrace a sort of insane work and details ethic, for best results.

Try-try TRY to do some dream-meditation style trip in the next few days…Epsom salts bath, lavender oil, mugwort or mint tea and a big pad or your Book of Shadows beside the bed to record the lurid/lucid resulting insights & images!

In fact, let’s have a dream comp – Thursday Night, no matter where you are  in the world, is SO powerful for dreamwork…

A Venusian Conflict;

Now & through the first few weeks of May there is the final square of Venus to Pluto for this cycle. It’s a complicated astro-scenario but suffice to say that women, animas & relationships  are all fluxing merrily between this:

Personally & this is SO arguable – lol – I’m backing the bottom pic – ie; Venus-Mars in Aries schtick.  SO LONG as you’re onto the Virgo-Capricorn side of reality. ie; details and the core structure of you, your life and biz being viable. Given that, it is better to come out fighting, have a clear stance from a base of strength and spend all night at the dojo than to sit around listening to Qi-draining non-you crap.

Mars & Venus Direct in Aries do not slow down to listen to ponderous drivel. They get it on/off in between following their own heroic life quest. Shit loads of conflict from now through till the auspicious Aquarius Astro-Weirding in late May. It began Weds night- Weds early AM in Los Angeles – can you feel it?

Today the Sun is mid-way through Aries,  the Moon in Leo is on the South Node of the Moon – a.k.a. the Tail of the Dragon – and considered a significant point of one’s past lives.  Collective past. Etc. Venus moves off a square to Pluto stationing retro & a Mutable Mars-Saturn opposition all combine to thin the veil between worlds & evoke wisdom. Not an ideal weekend to waste time/Qi on trivial shit or dullard duties to impress…whom, exactly? It’s too deep for banality, The Faux or even Nouveaux Naff.

YES! The Moon is in waxing in Aries for the weekend. The Message? Do not let anyone fuq with thy Qi. Respect is like oxygen under this Moon. Expect others to feel precisely the same way. Mars – ruler of Aries – is in the last degrees of Capricorn & Mercury is stationing: Drastic breakthroughs, seeing shit as it is & some sort of sensual pragmatism reigns.

As the Saturn & Uranus Opposition builds for another swipe, put the Aries Moon self-determinative vibe to brilliant use: Where are you individuating? What won’t you put up with? Where do you want to get more real and which unreal dreams do you want to put more gorm into activating?  Aries Moon can be a weekend of crap-house drivers ranting off re nothing and similar impatience jags from lower-Martian types (don’t provoke known flashpoints or ornery peeps) but it is also a time of courage, positivity & cute chutzpah.

Aries energy is that sort of entering-a-marathon-at-aged-90 style thing. And then they go to the pub afterward, crack a few jokes whilst sitting there in their running shorts. You can take them anywhere and they don’t believe in doubt. That’s the vibe to access this weekend.
