Pluto Retrograde

April 7 and Pluto goes Retrograde whilst on April 8 Saturn slips into something a little bit less comfortable – that’s right: Virgo. Hair shirt and all. Saturn in Libra may be weird but it’s exalted. It’s like a Gothic dance that they do.

But forget Saturn for a sek.

The reason I mention Pluto now is that the planet-of-transformation is already in slo-mo, getting set to Retro back to 2 degrees of Capricorn…

Whenever Pluto stations Retro or Direct, it zaps out Plutonic rays of psycho-weirding and it is as if circumstances conspire to make you do a bit of psych work you would otherwise have happily left undone. That’s right. Not done at all. Why even bother? But when Pluto stations Retro, you look back to where you SHOULD look back.

Poignant reminders that we are in a new era now evoking quite intense & exquisite nostalgia for the old one. It’s Pluto, so there is always some major psych insight to be had from it…but still.

Think – if you dare – in terms of Pluto Eras: 1995 until early 2008,  1984 to the mid-90s…I could go on but need to go take some Pluto Juice.

Right now, Mars and Saturn are Retrograde. And linked in such a way that they could work awesomely together in tandem.

Given that these are powerful, action-planets & that Saturn lends wisdom to the oomph of Mars + their being retrograde is about a revision, it makes sense to look at where they are in your chart.

Mars is at 6 Leo and Saturn at 4 Libra. ie; the very early degrees of these signs. Find which house (chart sector) these are in your chart and think about what to do with that area of life can be ruthlessly revamped and with great glee.  Because that’s the kind of energy it is and it’s totally worth tapping into.

Think: Extra willpower, elegant control and chic assertion in the areas of your scope/chart/life where you have early Leo and early Libra. Also that the arena for this steely evolution is one that has been activated since early last November.  And that you’re kind of stuck at this point, going back and forth until you totally get something. Like, REALLY get it. Grokking the issue du jour.

Think this through enough and you will get an ‘aha’ moment.

71855001v17_350x350_FrontAmazingly, Pluto has been demoted again.  I find this totally hard to believe. It’s like the planet to watch so far as transits are concerned. When Pluto comes rumbling along to – say – sit on your Venus or your Midheaven for a bit, one notices. Things change. After the 18 months or so of the astro-passage, you look back and realise that you’re now a totally different person. Transformation indeed.

Pluto is right now retrograding way back to where it was in Feb 2008 and then it leaps forward again into a whole new phase in September…Oh and Saturn in early Libra will square Pluto in Capricorn in mid-November. That’s when we’ll get to thrash the Pluto argument out in totality. It’s world order changing stuff & for peeps with things in early Cardinal signs (Aries, Libra, Cancer, Capricorn) it’s big shifts for them too.  Always toward more, sigh, authenticity of course.

Is anyone Pluto transitting??? And thus no doubt looking eagerly forward to Pluto going direct in September??? Basically, Pluto has been between Zero and Three Degrees of Capricorn since early 2008. So anyone with stuff at those degrees is Pluto-affected but particularly if you’re an early Cardinal sign.

If you’re really Pluto-struck get Plutonic or an Astro-Query to figure it out or vent your Plutonic merde here in the comments!

Hands up who is in a strange new land since Pluto got cracking into Capricorn? This is never minding the G.F.C. and all. This is a handy Pluto-reckoner to help you navigate your new terrain.

If you think about the cycles & dates, they’re bound to resonate on one level or another. Especially, of course, the house Pluto is actually bingling through and any major points being aspected.

But even if you know nothing re your chart, ponder these dates and see what transformations have occurred.  Seriously, it is worth the brainiac activity for the insights.

Late Jan 2008; Pluto gets into Capricorn.

Mid June 2008:  Pluto out of Capricorn and back into Saggo.

Late November 2008: Pluto back into Capricorn.

Early April 2009; Pluto gets as far into Cap as he is going this year and Retrogrades. ie: reverses….all the way back to the point of Feb 2008 – Zero Degrees Cap. Not back to the Jan 2008 point but near enough. And will get to the same point was at during the Feb 2008 Eclipse which is echoed/triggered on August 6 by an Eclipse in Aquarius at very similar degrees.

Mid-Sept 2009; Pluto moves forward again and so do you.

“It begins with the vision to recognise when a job, a lifestage, a relationship, is over-and let it go. It involves a sense of the future, a belief that every exit line is an entry, that we are moving on, rather than out.”

PLUTO  is now retrograde & will be until September 2009.  The planet of Sex, Fate, Metamorphosis, Death & the Occult (just a few of the associations) retrogrades all the way back to the point it was at in February 2008…So anything super-deep/destined you may have been immersed in about then has some more to play out.

And Pluto – unlike some planets – functions even more effectively when retro. One of the  jobs of Pluto is to dredge up psych-shit and shove it into our cute little creatively visualising faces so that totally fits a retrograde cycle; retrospective. Revision etc.

For a clue as to this Pluto Retro cycle,  think what unfinished psych biz could you poss have that hails distinctly back to Feb 2008.  And then just draw upon the beautiful imagery of the Eagle and the Serpent above. Two distinctly different types of strength. Insanely mystical symbols.

And the degree it turns retro at is 3 Cap – thus ANYTHING  you have at Zero to One degrees is affected, especially if it is in Aries, Libra, Kataka or – of course – Capricorn. And note that Pluto stationing retro (now) or direct always creates a sort of Plutonic spike.  By the end of this weekend you will know how Pluto-sensitive you/your chart are/is.  If you want a super-long-winded (10,000 words) rave re Pluto in Cap et al, get Plutonic.

Yes, Pluto in Capricorn IS linked utterly to the G.F.C & all… I think September/Oct of this year is going to be a nadir, a real low that we need to prepare ourselves for. But that then we will start to see progress up toward the light again. With a new norm in early 2012. And fabulosity in 2018. See previous postings re G.F.C.
