You will be suffused with yearning etc & a new sensation of being ‘alive’ yet also mentally tormented and stressed by coping with all the changes in your life…many astrologers liken a Pluto transit to being ‘cooked’ so that the flavours emerge.

BUT IN THE NEXT WEEK OR SO, AS PLUTO STATIONS, EVERYONE FEELS IT – SOME MORE THAN OTHERS, RAVENS COMING HOME TO ROOST & ALL…

Astro-Beauty; Which Fashion Trend Do You Think Sucked/Sucks?

There are naturally a lot of peeps in the fashion industry just looking to blame the Global Financial Cock-Up for their ills BUT some say that it’s fashion itself which got too whacked out of proportion…ie; not just pricie but poor value for $$$, not just trends shifting seasonally but insulting merde being served up to an apparently gullible group of buyers happy to look ridiculous just to be in fashion.

Pluto in Saggo from the mid-90s totally manifested as a rise in fabulous sportswear and designer jeans that one could wear anyplace…a definite decrease in formality & more Saggability a la the idea that a fit person can wear more or less anything and look fine. No need for fancy tailoring. And that if you’re active, you don’t need/want to be constrained.

But as Pluto heads into Capricorn & capitalism (apparently) reinvents itself, is fashion kaput? Which fashion trend totally sucked and were you personally reviled by? Is there any fashion trend that actually feels holistic & that you bond with? I’m drawn to the idea of non-leather shoes (eg; Stella McCartney) but i’m very Aqua like that. Leather feels old & had it to me now.

And, trend forecasters, what will Pluto in Cap do to fashion? There is, obviously, already a massive increase in the people doing and fascinated by craft. ie; d.i.y.

Go The Singularity!

Well, I love that the Ancient Mayans aced the Venus cycles absolutely yonks ago – without telescopes et al, they figured that the Morning Star & the Evening Star – Venus a.k.a. Xolotl – were the same planet, even though appearing on different sides of the sky.

But so far as the future goes, I’m backing Ray Kurzweil, a futurist, entrepeneur & mathmatician who says we are about to experience a fabulous & mind-boggling event known as The Singularity. I was reading a profile of the gent this morning & I knew within nanoseks that he is an Aquarius. Even apart from The Singularity, all the Aqua indicators were there…

* He invented a program called FatKat – Financial Accelerating Transactions from Kurzweil Adaptive Technologies – that plays the stockmarket for him so that he has more time for other projects. He also invented an automatic poetry generator called the Cybernetic Poet. He has a part-time employee purely to manage his vitamins and nutritional supplements. He is currently working on nanobots that will be injected inside the body to extend human lifespan. Has not consumed sugar for decades but drinks red wine daily, for the reservaterol.

And yah! He is Aquarius – Feb 12 1948 so also with Saturn-Pluto in Leo & Uranus trining his Aqua Sun.

I can’t quite grok what The Singularity is all about…only that amazing technology will be harnessed for the good of ALL – ie; feed the whole world & revolutionise all that ails us now. This would, of course, be a wonderful manifestation of innovative Uranus in gung-ho, pioneering Aries, Pluto in Capricorn & Neptune in Pisces….All of which is upon us soon.

So, next time someone grizzles to me about the Mayans, 2012 movie et al – I shall say ‘but what about The Singularity?’ and be done with it.

Moon in Scorpio AND Mars in Taurus trine Pluto in Cap; this is so savagely earthing, grounded, sensual, primal and yet ever so bats as the Moon belts toward being Full in Set-Me-Free Saggo…Positive power tripping and optimistic, non-defensive borders can work in the before-math of this moon. Or read She for an astro-appropriate, super-Goth, feminist & cultural trip & a half…Venus now chases Mars & she catches him on June 21, with Saturn in fave aspect. A lot of love/lust stories achieve a satisfying conclusion around then;

WHAT a weekend…Happy Mars-Pluto square…It’s exact in six hours & ought to quieten down by then. As you know, it was from Mars in Aries to Pluto in Capricorn- both signs & planets that make things manifest and a ’square’ is a challenging aspect. Forced Growth, as they say.

Now, i realise this is way easier to type than do, but any such aspect is meant to be greeted with your most courageous self – not send you snivelling off into some previous or demoded version of yourself. It’s like some sort of fast-tracked psych intensive for things that need ‘ruthless regeneration’ …the classic keyword for Mars-Pluto. And, in case you missed this, grokking how to better understand/use your personal power. Remember that for over a dozen years, each time Mars squared Pluto it was from Pisces or Virgo…not nearly so bolshie.

Fun! Interestingly, Venus then comes along – also in Aries – to square Pluto next weekend so that will be like a little Venusian version/development of this week’s hoo-hah. Or maybe, for you, all was quiet & tranquil a la the Taurean Moon? Mine was both; one actually quite funny-in-retrospect heated encounter with The Uranian at the gym. And then Bovinity in the form of some meandering & gossipping.

In short; nearly everyone’s been a bit more bitched up than usual but it’s about to get more mellow & merely pass-agg, as we move into some crunchy Taurus-Aqua squares for a few weeks. AND the news is full of fuqing Swine Flu. I was actually just thinking re the biblical quote about swine that i posted on the 15th looked at the news and thought Oh shit…now it’s a disease. Anyway, try not to get drawn into the low-rent/scattered qi manipulations of peeps who are weak or dark Mars types.

A Dark Moon Mini Bunk-Off

Even Capricorns take breaks, it’s true.

But with Sun & Mercury in Taurus, Saturn + Ceres in Virgo + Pluto in Capricorn – there is a ferocious work ethic out there right now & good thing too, as Pluto in Capricorn kicks in…the G.F.C. and all. Mars in Aries also does not want to sit still or shut t.f. up. And note that Mars is moving toward a square with Pluto exact early next week. That’s incendiary but most likely nothing that wasn’t already seeded or established as a potential flashpoint in Dec 08…

My point; Today is the Darkest Day of the Dark Moon before it is New in Taurus. Even amidst all you have to do, take some time for some form of a mini-bunk off. Long sabbaticals are out. Entire weekends are most likely out for the time being. That’ll change when Uranus gets into Taurus…2018. I’m thinking more that you enjoy a whole sandwich & a bit of a sit-down. Some form of power-relaxation.

Venus is just getting back into Aries again. Direct but retracing the retrograde path. So, as it’s a Dark Moon, don’t be amazed if some churlish or less-than-the-Higher-Self style feelings emerge. Don’t act on them. Remember; rests & rejuvenations during the Dark Moon have several times their usual power. If someone goes you chez work, don’t react. Wait it out, look weak now – come back and go them back way harder, when the cosmos is onside. ie; after the New Moon.

The Astro Of Susan Boyle

Oh well you’ve most likely heard of this lady by now – Susan Boyle, surprise hit of this Brit Talent Quest & suddenly it’s like Christ & Princess Diana back in one go as it IS amazing footage. She’s so naff & frumpy looking & with this strange little come-hithery hip swinging attempted flirtation with the snide media-stud judges – you can see peeps in the audience rolling their eyes and then VOOMP; Sensational, divine & totally trained-seeming voice. It IS moving to watch.

Hence the hype; that someone non-hot, not ultra-young nor under management, having gone to a stage school or been recently inspired whilst hanging out backstage at her Gucci modelling stint kinda cool-scene is SO talented. Which is interesting & tres Pluto in Capricorn really. Ye olde authentic. She is a self-described “spinster” who claims never to have been kissed & is currently unemployed but volunteers to help out at her local church. So NOW.

Her astro; She is an Aries – note her Ariean eyebrows – with Moon in Libra but not sure of the Moon degree nor rising sign as lack of time….April 1 1961 in Scotland. She was born with Retrograde Venus in Aries and came to fame with Venus Retro at Zero Degrees Aries just coming off squaring Pluto. Mars in Cancer squares her Sun – that could be a bit pass-agg but it also SO fits someone living in obscurity biding her time. Deep dreams. The Dark Horse.

She’s just recently had her super-lucky Jupiter Return (betcha that coincided with her getting through the heats or whatevs for this show) – Neptune quincunxes her Aries Sun – she dreams a dream indeed. A lot of dreams…And Mars trines the Neptune…Juniper dreaming? Pluto is bang on her North Node. As I think I have said before re Pluto-North Node people, they are singular and with fate playing a distinct and flamboyant role in bringing them into being a focal point & signifier of the Zeitgeist for a moment.

So Pluto is currently trining her natal Pluto/North Node in Virgo and will continue to do so for several years; she has a message other than belting out – however beautifully – these old show songs. But what? It is a message that Pluto In Capricorn wants to deliver…And no, I don’t think it’s the Dream song nor Cry Me A River…it’s something else.

Venus Is STILL Square Pluto

YES! Venus in Aries (retrograde) is STILL square Pluto…The exactitude of it has passed but it lingers on, courtesy of other astro-crap causing a sort of extended play. Till May.

See the Pic! She’s on a pedastel! Not yet ready nor even wanting to fling ‘the weapon’ – seduce/pounce/move/change. The Plutonic dude behind her is totally pause for thought…As it ought to be in the middle of the Venus-Retro cycle. Likewise, you pause as well – to grok the mega-deep insights that arise through emo that at first seems quite shallow and beneath you. Yes, it’s beneath you – it’s from your subconscious…At least jot some of the insights/angst down. They WILL be pertinent.

More Pluto In Capricorn & The G.F.C.

A while ago, I posted re Pluto in Capricorn & The G.F.C and said that, i.m.o, there would be a distinct upswing, new era of prosperity, our restoration et al in 2018….That’s because innovative Uranus then goes into Taurus and trines Pluto for yonks, creating a tres harmonious environment for the emergence of business, peace, plenty etc. And then i said but at least Neptune goes into Pisces, the sign it rules and starts to sextile Pluto in early 2012, suggesting relief from then….

NOW i stand by that but it’s better; I just realised that Saturn (ruler of Capricorn) goes into Scorpio (the sign ruled by Pluto) in October 2012…Thus, those two planets will then be in what is called mutual reception. And Saturn will sextile Pluto and trine Neptune. But between now and 2012, there are challenging times as Saturn squares Pluto from Libra and then Uranus squares Pluto from ARIES…Till 2015.

I don’t know a single astrologer who was not right re Pluto into Cap being a big upheaval of biz, banking, authority etc etc but really, the swiftness & severity has been stunning, no? Anyway, for what it is worth, reformation full on through till 2012, followed by better times with restoration in 2018. And now, I am gonna get on with being hopefully diverting.

The first Saturn-Pluto square is in November this year so that should give us an idea of the form. In short; Massive societal change & I would like to think for the better, in the way that the upheavals of the 60s bought transformation. Note also that Saturn is exalted in Libra. Soooo bring on the progressive leadership and more upopian, equitable world.
