Happy New Moon & hey, it’s already whizzed into Pisces. A Waxing Moon in Pisces is a beautiful thing, other-worldly and mega-fluid. Apart from sticking to the core Saturn Girl plan for the year – whatever you absolutely VOWED to sort last Nov and even more so in late Jan/early Feb, this week is one in which magical realism works heaps better than logic.

Dream big, think poetic and watch that you’re not too open to coarse twerps…Amazing astroscape for creatives, astral travellers, inventors & lovelorn peeps.

The Chiron-Neptune Conjunction is hard upon us: Shamanic healing, visionary and sudden getting over of ye-olde-wounds, sudden and beneficial life changes undertaken with extreme serenity, angels, spirit guides & uber-clarity re directions and authenticity. Tres, TRES New Age of course but don’t forget Saturn-Girl.

The planet a.k.a. Chronos is belting backwards ready to oppose Uranus again and then forward to square…Pluto. So yes to envisioneering, no to off-planet meanderings, losing it, adherence to a cult and/or dipsomania or similar.

Saturn…such a Spunk! Who knew? Maybe i should change my description of him to “time-stud Saturn…”????  Would that mean he’d leave off for half an hour?  Saturn opposite Venus is up there with Saturn square Moon. Hard Saturn aspects (squares, oppositions) to squishy planets/Moon are tricky.  Whereas Saturn & Mars (sort of) can get along. I mention that because Mars is now squaring Saturn until next Tuesday…

I was actually trying to find a really cool pic of Saturn and Mars together. Or, as the Greeks say, Chronos and Ares…but there aren’t any…I think they would have mostly communicated by interpreter.

Mars: We go now and we go in hard.

Saturn: Shut up, clean your house, floss your teeth and it’s great that you can do  a thousand chin ups but have you had a shower today? Would it kill you to polish your armour?

Mars: Fuq that shit man, go hard or go home. Ain’t nobody disses with me and I am gonna…W.T.F?

Saturn: Do you have a strategy? The horse of enthusiasm requires the bridle of sobriety and…

Mars: Fuq yeah! My strategy is to hit ‘em hard. Semper Fi and to the brink dude. We’ll have a drink after the fight, you and me, you will…

You get the idea. Anyway I could not find a pic of them together though i now know that an awful lot of wizardy-computer-roleplay game thingies love Saturn/Chronos as a character & so do heavy metal bands. Would you want a guitar shaped like a scythe? Me neither.

Chronos is also where we get the words chronometer, chronological and crone…IN case you did not know.  BTW, the Piscean Moon – for most of the weekend – is often a fab one for dipsomania but don’t forget Monday morning is hardcore Mars-Saturn. ie; you will want to be up early, clean, gleaming, alert & liver-toned.

Deja Vu

It’s big, of course, with the Moon in Pisces today, Neptune slowing and Mercury Retrograde…But seriously what is Deja Vu? I would love to think it something super-cosmic as that would fit BUT nearly all the Deja Vu I’ve had has been when doing something insignificant & yet the Deja Vu instills the moment with the most intense significance. Is it a sign that one is on the right track? A neurological glitch? A tweak of the Matrix?

And is there a a sign/astro-signifier more prone to it than others? Is it more or less common at different ages? I know my son and his teen friends all seem to get it constantly but it’s hard to tell if they are being sincere or just sort of freaking out that some chick has just sent them the same text msg ten times. I love it. And am willing to totally believe it’s profound – the sensation that comes across one at the start of a Deja Vu experience – isn’t it just kind of similar to an orgasm? Like for a nano you know it’s about to happen and that you’re toppling into it?

Also,  how often do you get it? It would be awesome to establish an idea of what is the ‘norm’ for Deja Vu…It is French for Already There, I think. The first Deja Vu i remember was when i was about 13 and at hockey; this terrifying Aries Jockette proclaimed that you could tell if someone was a virgin or not by looking at their knees, she glared at mine and – voila – intense Deja Vu. Maybe it is like a protective mechanism?!

So now the Moon wanes into Pisces & the mood alters, more melancholy, surreal and with a distinct sense of the classic Piscean ‘fuq you’ ambiguity about it. Mermaids & Mermen too, i guess, are sooo Piscean. The yearning to merge totally a la oceanic & other-worldly Neptune + the demand for compleat freedom to swim off with a flick of that quick-silvery tail + don’t dare question the integrity of the Pisces. Similar to Sagg, the other dual creature of the zodiac. Ie; half-wise-dude and half back end of the horse.  And Capricorn too, if you go with them being the Mer-Goat…Half patriarchal and half deeply mystical ancient creature of myth. Let’s give Caps a break from having Pluto in their sign and bang on a lot about how mystical they actually are.
