” Singing about the Valley of Sunsets
Green and blue … Canyons too
Singing about Atlantis love songs.
The Valleys of Neptune is arising.

I’m sailing on the Bluebird’s mission …
Bubble and curls and tiptoes in the foam –
See the wind make love to all

The Valleys of Neptune is arising — “

The Valleys Of Neptune is the title track of this “new” Jimi Hendrix album being released in March. I love how actually insanely Neptunian the song is – all intoxicated, idealistic & yearning for other-worldly meaning.  Ancient Egypt, moon trips, Atlantis, alchemy references – brilliant. I am suddenly getting Jimi Hendrix. I just thought he was a Pluto-in-Leo-generation icon.

Now get this: Hendrix was a multiple conjunct Saggo – Sun, Mercury, Venus & Sagittarius all rising. Rad-Saggo for sure. But Neptune rides high in his chart and it trines a Saturn-Uranus conjunction in Gemini. It also sextiles his Sun-Venus but Neptune trine Saturn-Uranus is innovative, gifted and multi-dimensional. A major legacy.

What i love about this is that Uranus is about to oppose Jimi Hendrix’s natal Neptune. And Saturn is on his Neptune right now. So he’s having a posthumous album (Neptune rules ghosts) called Valleys of Neptune released during a major Neptune transit. That’s super-Neptunian.

I think it has to do with my Moon in Libra but I always have a favourite model du jour, despite not caring so much for fashion…Bimbonic, I know but what can you do? Currently it’s Lara Stone but i had not bothered to do her astro UNTIL Jezebel and others got to raving re an interview she did for UK Vogue & how frank she is the industry, headjobs, cocaine, her rehab, weight and so on. It’s hilarious as she is a Multiple Conjunct Sagittarius; Sun, Jupiter, Neptune, Uranus and South Node all tight together in Saggo…Sagittarians make the best interview subjects ever as they tend to be so cheerfully candid.

“On Oct 11 in 1915, British nurse Edith Cavell was executed for her role in helping over 200 Allied soldiers escape to the Netherlands from Belgium during World War 1….”

More here in this article from Jezebel

Edith Cavell was a Saggo – Sun, Mars and Vesta conjunct in Sagg and the Mars was in a tight trine to Neptune in Aries. Interesting astro-signature for an amazingly brave idealist. She had North Node in Libra Rising & the Moon conjunct Uranus at zero degrees of Cancer.

Was reading this amazing article re Tina Turner, on tour again at 69 & looking fantastic & I thought how mega-Saggo she is (Sun, Mercury & Venus) + she has Pluto in Leo and Leo Rising – so, spokeswoman for the Pluto in Leo generation…Plus her Sagg planets are in the 5th house so a la Leo….(Tina Turner on Astrotheme is here)  And then I thought well, okay, Mick Jagger is a Mega-Leo & Madonna is a Leo.  And nobody tells a Fire Sign (Aries, Leo, Sagg) they they cannot go out and perform, wear what they want or try to look fabulous.

Once a Fire Sign gets going with any degree of notoriety, creative stimulation or adultation, they do not expect to stop soon. And why should they? So long as they can attract an audience, non???  Am trying to think of any Aries (to fill in the Fire signs) long-lasting performers. And I am talking about the older bigtime, long-haul show-pony stadium acts, not to much the complicated and always critically acclaimed peeps such as Debbie Harry, David Bowie or Bob Dylan.

I sometimes think it is the Pluto in Virgo (born roughly 1958 to 1972 & a.k.a Gen X) generation, who came after the Pluto in Leos (Approx 1939 to 1957 & aka Boomers) , that would like the Fire signs to shut up and hang up their unitards. Partly as the Pluto in Virgo generation does not think it quite decent but also because Pluto in Virgo likes the ‘purity’ of a young & as yet undiscovered or commercially exploited act.

And don’t you think that where you have the Fire going on in your Scope is where you’re super-up yourself, teenager like, selfish, creative and inexhaustible?
