Just when you think you’re going absolutely ape with the combo of revved up desires and delayed ego gratification (thank you Venus-Pluto Square & Mars Retro at Zero Degrees of up itself Leo) – along comes Moon in Capricorn to the rescue.

Yes, it’s a Dark Moon (ie; Waning and right before the New Moon) but SO what?

Capricorns aren’t afraid of the Dark.

This is the Moon for you if you want a sharp jolt of getta-grip style thinking, some inner self-pep-talking and the Tao of Endless Self-improvement to distract you from the above nebulous yearnings and a.w.o.l. men etc. Think of this Moon as Saturn in a bottle.

No, Saturn as a room spray – it is supposed to have no scent but the discerning person can detect a whiff of platinum, success and lemon cypress.  It instantly causes the mind to focus on what matters most and to prioritise. There is, after all, always something you can do.

Like I said in the Daily Mystic this morning, this Dark Moon in Scorp is GREAT so long as you keep away from the obsessive-stalkery-paranoid edge of Scorpio.  Beautiful for willpower & depth of perception. Libidinal too, though – of course – Mars is still Retro.

Hark, who is this?

Saturn Girl saving money again by being a chic nudist? With an animal companion that actually earns its keep?

Actually, no. I’m thinking more that it is a pic that symbolizes the current Moon situation. Moon in Gemini is moving to trine Mercury, Neptune and Chiron over the next ten hours & so there is an awesome amount of emotional sustenance and quiet insights just flowing in.

So let’s just say that the Owl is like sagacious wisdom, Athena/Minerva et al and that the nakedness symbolises being free of stupid preconceptions and grudges.

And the Moon being in Gemini trine Mercury, the ruler of Gemini,  means you can just grok stuff SO fast…

Moon-Neptune = fantastic dream potential tonight.

Oh and speaking of Saturn Girl, the Saturn Girl Scheduler for MARCH is now up…

This is the Dark Moon ideal: a peaceful, eco-linened & no doubt lemon-grassy-ti-tree scented haven from which to gather one’s wits and rest in prep for the next big push.

A quick little productive gaze back into the past before maxing out the brilliant Chiron-Neptune fuelled Auspicious Aqua-Weirding that comes along with this New Moon.

But most of us ain’t going to be sprawling around navel-gazing. Saturn is still within range of Pluto and for many of us, our motivation is at an all-time high.

Sleep, springwater and sanity are the new luxuries. Who needs Thing Lust when Lust-Lust is free? Most of the time.

Remember that Capricorn – apart from being a mega-stinge with hot cheekbones and a 50,000 year career plan – is also horny. So we don’t need to cut back on everything during Pluto in Cap. Carbs and naff crap – yes. Sex – no.

Also, whilst I am here: the current path of retro-Mars stirs up any unresolved tensions or flash-nostalgia from July-Aug 2005 and March-April 2006.  If you do get the chance to do a bit of Dark-Mooning about, hone in on those months for a glorious ‘aha’ moment.

And, I shall be back after the New Moon!  xxx

You are now entering Scorpville.

The Moon is in Scorpio & making beneficial aspects to Jupiter/Pluto.

This is powerful regenerative energy and with it comes the Mercury-Uranus sextile: eureka moments galore. When Mercury is in league with Uranus, ideas come in bright flashes or via sudden synchronicity. Listen between the lines. Take note of little hunches and subtle omens.

Don’t be dull. Don’t let your thinking slide into something turgid and lower-Scorp-stalkery vengeful.

It’s like that beautiful old quote: Be bold and mighty forces will come to your aid.  It’s from Basil King, a Piscean clergyman turned novelist and metaphysical writer. According to his Wiki, the original was actually “Go at it boldly, and you’ll find unexpected forces closing round you and coming to your aid.”

Yes. So very today.

So classic. Cancerian Moon strikes and all i wanna do is become a flower-chile. If I can’t cuddle a lamb in a haystack then i can fuq around with self-concocted herbal tea blends, croon to the plants, make my own thigh-blaster scrub with pomegranate seeds or something…But you see, everyone is too ruthlessly focussed with the Saturn-Pluto Square (gone by Feb 2 – don’t bother “relaxing” till then) & engineering evolutionary change to stop and cuddle the lambs…

I know that what i DO need is the Huggable Pillow Of Light.  Everyone should have one, if only to bring out during these Crabby Moons.

Merry Moon into Mercurial Gemini & this is such an active Moon. She squares Jupiter, trines Saturn/Venus and sextiles Mars….amongst other aspects. It’s all a brilliant lead-up to the Mars in Leo-Venus in Aquarius opposition but expect to have to exert a little bit of Mood Control as your mind skits all over the place.

Go with the Gemini Power Of Glib and some semblance of objectivity, lest you be caught up in drama-queenie Full Moon in Leo pending nonsense. Boredom thresholds are crashing down all over town: no tolerance for twits, absolutely none. Communiciation: Lucid & quick. Work out Retro-Mars mania at the gym, not via psycho-bats communiques, even if they ARE quite eloquent, thanks to the Moon.

The Moon is in Virgo – trining Pluto – and now it’s time to get a grip. Yes. The Full Moon Eclipse stirred up all sorts of crap & we’ve got until Mercury goes Direct with the New Moon in hardcore, pragmatic Capricorn mid-month to revise & reshape our personal story BUT with the Virgo Moon & Retro-Mars you get a grip fast via working it out at the gym, sweating & even that age-old Virgoan refrain to “hysteria” – “maybe it’s just that your blood sugar is a bit imbalanced…”

Seriously, chill the fuq out, get strong, untox (detox is v.last decade isn’t it?) eat clean, do sensible old-school stuff to get your grip back & if you can’t bear that, consider the genius of microfibre cleaning gloves.

Learn to love the Moon in Virgo for it will render you and your surroundings gleaming.

Also, in the background & this is going to be addressed more in the Daily Mystic & Daily Scopes, we have Saturn moving back into a square with Pluto. Think restructuring. So yes, that Eclipse did a bit of muckraking & i am sure you now know of any murky areas in  your psyche/relationships et al. But Saturn Pluto is major revamping energy. So whether it’s painting some grotty old wall, throwing out grot, de-grotting your mind of merde thoughts, ungrotting your attitudes or shedding grot in the form of stored Chrissy carbs around your hips that will only hamper your fabulousity – you get the vibe.

Cannot find artist for this pic – if anyone knows, do tell!

But it makes me think of that old therapy (?) phrase – the elephant in the living room – and you know how it refers to a blazingly obvious reality that nobody wants to talk about.  I think it’s often used re alcoholism but politicians like to fling it at a variety of issues.

But this pic makes me think of the horse in the living room – would it be the presence of something majestic and graceful, that nobody wants to talk about for some reason?

And I have the Moon in Capricorn – I’m sure – to thank for this – i just did something SO brazenly sensible that I am in awe of myself. I paid this big 8th house bill when i could have postponed it and had more pentacles for Saturnalia goodies. So  now i am SO grokking the maturity, the un-due diligence & all…

There may well be peeps having to eat off paper plates this xmas but by Jove, the firemen of my nation will have proper boots to wear & nurses working night shift on N.Y.E will get their loading pay. And I will not have heart palpitations opening any note from the government. THIS, ladies & gents, is the Tao of Capricorn and Cancerians.

Next week’s Jupiter-Neptune conjunction in Aquarius is more the majestic grace end of the spectrum. Something to restore your faith in magical realism & especially fortunate for Sagittarians, Aquarians, Librans and Pisceans.
