Oh dear, it was too late to scrap the January 2010 cover, apparently.

In my previous rant re Tiger Woods & his astro, i was way sympathetic to his Saturn-Uranus square…I was seeing him as non-stop Saturn Man, with the occasional Uranian outlet for his mega-corporate & athletic-in-focus life. Well, as it  happens, he is VERY in tune with his Uranian urges.

I WAS right about his Lilith bent- whenever Dark Moon Lilith is so active, there has to be some element of prostitution, the Shadow-Venusian-feminine etc. It’s arguable but Lilith is linked with the prostitute archetype for sure.

But my god, poor Mrs Tiger & all but he is such a good ad for the Capricorn powers of organisation…His time management skills much be unreal. His Mars is opposite Neptune…Next…major drug allegation?

I LOVE Snakes even though i don’t usually wear jewellery and I checked this out: Price On Application.  But fab cause, yes?

What I REALLY LOVE about this is the name of the collection: The Protector is like a really ancient name for Lilith, the original She-Devil and ye olde Serpent Snake-Goddess, Temptress etc. She protects Pagan knowledge that the Christians and others have tried to destroy forever. Angelina Jolie is Pluto-Moon woman par excellence and she has Venus in Cancer Rising- v.apt energy for a highly emotive & seductive aspiring global nurturer I think.

But still, the very name The Protector – regardless of the design or the greatness of the cause (clearly amazing and humbling) in conjunction with a Snake motif is cheeky…Especially in certain parts of the world (like Mesopotamia and Persia) where they banished deities such as Ishtar and her male God-lover Tammuz (think Venus and Mars for easier reference) in favour of more monolithic, patriarchal Gods.

Saturn Heads Into Libra & Angels Are The New Vampires

This makes perfect sense to me as Angels seem v.v. Saturn in Libra – clean, fluffy, godly and all. Whereas Vampires could very easily vibe Virgoan and a bit neurotic. All that fussing about blood types, diet, purity, having to keep totally regular hours or else they will disintegrate or whatever. So bring on the Angels!!

And I would have gone ape over these Joey W Hill books when i was 14. Is that like a Lilith style of succubi writhing around with a studly looking clearly hovering on the verge of falling Angel???

Barbie’s Chiron Return

Barbie Doll, born 10am on March 10 1959 in New York, is about to have her Chiron Return! In her 10th house. A deeper sense of herself as a maverick healer? Reappraising her professional image? She will be hailed for traits and depth hitherto unappreciated en masse.

She has her Sun, Moon, Mercury & Venus all in the 11th house – suggesting a woman passionately involved in her community and enjoying a large network of friends. Utopian too. She has Mars in Gemini rising so amazingly low boredom threshold. Perhaps this explains her constant job-hopping and role switching: stay-at-home-wife, vet, hairdresser, art teacher, ambassador, doctor, cow-girl, pilot, nurse and officer in the Marines…to name but a few. Mars in Gemini rising also reflects a perpetually youthful and energetically image.

Lilith lurks in her clandestine 12th house and is un-aspected so there may be darker aspects to Barbie. Unexpressed rage? Ceres conjunct Jupiter is also a strong mothering-nurturing urge…apparently  un-explored?

Interestingly, when the Bratz dolls were introduced in June 2001, Uranus was on Barbie’s 10th house Chiron: A sudden shattering of her career security and Saturn was on her Gemini Rising: the Hag Transit and along come four Chonga upstarts in hotpants to challenge Barbie’s W.A.S.P. princess achievements. Now of course, the Bratz dolls may have been ousted.   Then, in Feb 2004, Barbie broke up with Ken but re-united as Pluto was conjunct her Descendant.

Disclosure; I wasn’t allowed to play with Barbie dolls as a child so considered them too vulgar for my daughter…until i saw the Bratz dolls.

Venus squares Pluto this Friday, but building now – already a perfectly sexy & heated troublesome little power-trippy sexual politiking of an aspect, no? But it’s complicated by Dark Moon Lilith also being conjunct Pluto this week. The mythological Lilith was demonised (literally) by the Christians. Yonks ago she was a Babylonian Snake Goddess & then she winds up as Adam’s First Wife & then the Snake in the Garden of Eden. Etc.

The astrological Lilith is interpreted differently by various peeps. I love this quote – in Astrodienst’s Astro-Wiki – from a Kocku Von Struckard:

” Lilith embodies the presence of an archaic form of feminine strength that ignores any patriarchal discourse of power and dominance and allies itself with those forces that affirm life itself.”

People used to say Lilith in your chart was where you were a difficult ‘bitch’ who had probs aligning herself to societal standards. Others say it’s where you’re fabulous & wild, women running with the wolves et al. I have phases where I track & analyze Lilith a lot. Usually when I’m on a Wiccan sort of a jag. I do think Lilith is fascinating in synastry: If your Lilith is strongly placed on someone’s Moon/Venus, he/she projects an awful lot onto you. You could look at a man (heterosexual) and his Moon-Venus-Lilith placements & be able to neatly delineate any Madonna-Whore complexes. Maybe not over dinner out or even to his face.

Anyway, with Lilith/Pluto being squared by Venus this week, there is a lot of sexual power undertow to all relationships. Covert or  not. And feminine anger too. I mean, Venus is in Aries…remember.
