What happens when there is more of a classic temperament clash between sisters and yet there they are; Taurus forced to share a room with Sagittarius, say?

This, to me, is like a Libra who has just realized that Saturn is coming BACK into Libra. For several years.

Saturn was in Libra, just as her astrologer said, from the very end of October until early April. Ms Libra was thrilled with how relatively easy the whole thing was. Why DO people make such a fuss about silly old Saturn?  But now she’s re-read the astro-rant and wigged out. Way out.

I did something similar on my first day of school. I thought that was It. One day. Done. Educated. Voila Mercury in Aries. Then they said I had to go back. For how long? I figured I could maybe just do one more day, leave at playtime but  no.

And now this is very interesting…If you have not read The Quickening – Ten Things To Do Before Uranus Gets Into Aries then please do. But guess what? For the next year, the early degrees of Cardinal signs is what i call the Zap Zone. It’s especially strong this year.

To explain – Cardinal Signs are Aries, Libra, Cancer/Kataka and Capricorn…If you have the Sun, Moon, Ascendent, Midheaven or a personal planet from Zero To Eight degrees of any of these signs, it is going to be zapped by Saturn, Uranus and Pluto. That is major. They will all be squaring one another. That is a zapping.  That is forced growth to the max.

For instance. Let’s say you are an Aries born March 25 – so your Sun is about five degrees Aries. You will have Uranus criss-crossing your Sun, Saturn opposing it and Pluto squaring. Whatever you have in the Zap Zone is going to be caught up in these Change God planets all squaring one another.

So have a look and see what  you’ve got going on in the Zap Zone  – it’s the most important thing to be aware of now.

If you have say, your Sun in early Capricorn AND your Moon in Kataka, don’t flip. Re-read Demolition Astro and see that as your policy for the areas being affected.  The rewards are fabulous. Demolish the rancid merde-infested structures in your life and build an empire that sustains  you. It’s awesome. Be positive and inventive – but i wouldn’t fuq around in any of these areas either.

I am Libra sun and moon with Leo rising and whenever I read your posts about Aquarians I always wish I was one! Do other people have sign-envy?

The other sign I envy is Sagittarius – but I am glad I am not one because they seem like the sign most likely to never marry! Aquarians and Sagittarians seem to be full of life/energy and attract attention while remaining detached and unconcerned about what others think of them. I think this appeals to me because my Leo/Libra combination loves attention and admiration but I get tired of being so vain/conscious of how I come across all the time.

Sag and Aqua seem to breeze through without having to look in every reflective surface, carry a minimum of 4 lipsticks at all times and never leave the house without a teasing comb in case their hair goes flat. I wish that was an exaggeration. My Venus is in Sag which suggests carefree and natural beauty so although I am a beauty/product junkie (Libra and Leo) I do find the whole thing a bit tedious.

I’d be really interested to know what signs other people wish they were and if it correlates to their sun/rising sign as I suspect mine does…

Dear Envious Libra,

Really interesting how you made your font somehow unable to be shrunk – Leo Rising indeed.  I used to have sign envy when i was a teenager. I read Linda Goodman’s Sun Signs and just WISHED i were an Aries. The author actually WAS an Aries – which I did not know when i was reading that book – and I swear she made my Sun sign sound like the biggest soggy old parasite lunatic in the universe whilst Aries women were just…WOW, oh-my-god…So i went around with a little spiel for a bit about how i was ‘really an Aries…’ In fact, I began to investigate astrology just to prove i was Aries. So thank you Linda. I think i also lied about being a Scorpio for a bit but EVERYONE goes through a stage of that – we think it will get us laid more but under-estimate the fear factor.

Okay, this is so flip but after I saw Revolutionary Road, i had a few gins (what else after that movie would feel so right?) and said to the Scorpio Sex Academic that i was stunned the relationship between Sam Mendes and Kate Winslet could survive that movie. So, um, cathartic. And anyway, apparently it didn’t.

Things obviously run their course and it IS break-up season for non-viable set-ups (Saturn opposite Uranus again) and I don’t really have much to say re this but looking at KW’s chart, I’m stunned by how truly Libran she is. Maybe almost too much Libra for a Leo film director husband to handle. Leo and Libra is a beautiful match but Libra can often times so effortlessly out-shine the Leo and they DO compete…

Her chart shows up Pluto in Libra, Fortuna in Libra, Libra Rising, Sun in Libra, Moon in Libra and Mercury in Libra…all bunched tightly together. That’s a lot of Libra and now Saturn is about to go tromping over the lot. She will probably do great things out of all this but it will feel austere.

Mr Mendes is a Leo yes but a whole heap of his planets are in guess what sign…Virgo. SO he’s a multiple conjunct Virgo with a multiple conjunct Libran woman.

There is some nice Mars-Venus synergy there (his Mars is in Libra and her Venus is actually in Virgo, conjunct HIS Venus in Virgo) but think of all that Virgoan energy crashing into hyperbolic multi-Libran Kate.

This is the Bermuda dining room of Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas – a multiple Libran couple. Both are actually born on the same day of Libra: September 25.  So they are actually having a hell of a Saturn-Pluto transit right now and until August.

This is Michaeale and Tareq Salahi, a couple from North Virginia who are apparently renowned social climbers.  So much so that they gatecrashed the White House State Dinner held the other night for the Indian President or P.M. or something. This is apparently the FIRST time in modern history that such a thing has occurred. Q’uelle fuqing NERVE.

I’d love to have been able to witness the moment they came up with the idea. Were they sitting around the pool drinking mint juleps and to distract her from eyeing up the pool boy, he said something about being invited to the White House and then had to kind of sort it? Or did they cook it up and decide to say, if they were busted, that they’d got the wrong HOUSE?

The couple’s publicist – a person named Mahogany Jones – said they had a fabulous time but did not address the issue of them being uninvited. The Security Service has initiated their own enquiry, as  you would. They were not caught btw. She posted pix of them with the Vice President etc on her Facebook page and it flowed on from there.

Okay, so this interests me as SHE is a LIBRAN.  I can’t find  his b-day as he v.cagey about his birthdate. She LOOKS so Libran, lol and i often joke that they are social climbers/gate-crashers to fab events. It’s a loving joke. But reading about this genius and amazingly ambitious gatecrash, i wondered if maybe super-ambitious gate-crashing is going to be a Saturn in Libra thing. Sort of like streaking in the Seventies?

Also, Librans, do admit: Your gate-crashing inclinations? Machinations to get onto the right lists?

And what sign do we think Mr Salahi is?  The pair are also trying to get onto Real Housewives of something or rather, they play Polo, own Polo ponies and have winery interests.

Venus was conjunct Jupiter and the North Node in Scorpio/the 6th house – really apt for a woman who made her fortune by working hard her whole life long about sex & love + expanding the societal possibilities.
