Symphony Of Science

YOU may have seen this but i just discovered it & it’s so beautiful for the Chiron-Neptune Conjunction.

Carl Sagan was a multiple conjunct Scorpio:  Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and Sun all in Scorpio AND a tight Mars Neptune conjunction in Virgo. So a mega-haute Neptunian, mining the mysteries of other worlds and alternative dimensions. As some of you know, not every Mars Neptune conjunction manifests so beautifully. In fact, especially in a man, it’s one of THE potentially gaga aspects to watch for. But not here.

Carl Sagan’s Uranus was in late Aries conjunct the Mars of Stephen Hawking (also featured in this clip) which is kinda cool. Hawking has Saturn conjunct Uranus – amazing blend of innovation with structure. V.appropriate for someone creating a whole new structure of science. AND, astro-fiends will find this interesting, Hawking has Moon-Neptune in Virgo.

So two amazing sci-brains with very strong Neptunian signatures all over their charts…Yes Uranus too but Neptune is strong for each of them. I love that. Pragmatic visionaries.

x14156October 17 was the birthday of Elinor Glyn, sensational writer of clit lit in the early 20th century…She coined the term “it girl” and pioneered bonkbuster fiction…Had seriously scandalous & interesting personal life AND did bloody well for herself…Her Mercury (always the first thing to look at with such successful writers and cultural stirrers) was opposite Neptune…She had a fantastic Grand Air Trine involving: Midheaven in Aquarius trine Sun-Saturn in Libra and Uranus in Gemini…Total sense for someone so unconventional and yet break-thru.

Venus was conjunct Jupiter and the North Node in Scorpio/the 6th house – really apt for a woman who made her fortune by working hard her whole life long about sex & love + expanding the societal possibilities.

That Scientology Dude

Today is the birthday of L Ron Hubbard, that Scientology Dude…I am not a Scientologist, before you start narking off at me in the comments stream, but he really is quite interesting and I did see some Scientology exhibition a while bk – about psychiatry – that was fascinating. And I think Tom Cruise is looking fantastic. Anyway, this from the Wiki is kinda cool…

“According to friend and colleague A.E. van Vogt, Hubbard wrote:

“… about a million words a year, straight on to the typewriter at incredible speed. My guess was that he typed at about seventy words a minute. It just poured out—I have seen typists working at that speed, but never a writer. I was in his apartment a couple of times when he said he had to finish a story and he would sit typing steadily for twenty minutes without a break and without looking up. That would have been totally impossible for me...”

Before founding Scientology & Dianetics et al, he was a v.successful science fiction writer. This explains why. His astro: Pisces Sun, obviously, Mercury in Pisces exact trine Jupiter Scorpio (those millions of words!) and – get this – Mars exact conjunct Uranus…in Capricorn and opposed by Neptune. Widely but so appropriate for a self-invented guru of such stunning financial success.  Though, I suppose, all gurus are self-invented, non?

I actually read Dianetics in 4th form (year 8) & loved it. Then again, I read Dune at the same time and loved that too.
