820+lgWhich Sun Sign Gets the worst P.M.T???

It would be useful data, no?  Anecdotally, I reckon it’s Capricorn. And weirdly, what if this were to do with their sign being the opposite of that ruled by the Moon, our Cancer/Kataka?

Also, i have NO idea if this is true or not but ages ago a pagan, witchy-poo type whose speciality was something like menstrual correctness (invoke Hecate or Kali, use sea sponges or d.i.y. menstrual pads & pour the ’soak water’ on your deadly nightshade patch blah blah blah) said to me that it is the In Tune thing to bleed with the Dark Moon…Which means you are ovulating with the Full Moon and thus waxing/waning a la Gaia.

Thoughts? I personally have not had a grotty pmt episode for years – not since i started exercising properly & doing herbs et al. All that lingers is a mild ennui & propensity to clumsiness. Occasionally, if i have to deal with a total bitch, my cycle gets knocked out of whack, but that’s normal isn’t it?

You ideally need to please go read Ceres-Watch 1 for this to resonate BUT essentially, I go on and off observing this asteroid-turned- planet. So, as she has been in Virgo since November 2008 and is about to cross into Libra on August 4, this is a fab chance to collect some findings.

Note that ideas of what she represents vary widely. Ceres SO often ends up just sounding like the Moon. She is obviously linked with agriculture (the word cereal comes from her name) and as she is a.k.a.Demeter there is a link to her as that mythological mother…having to share custody of her daughter with Hades himself. Yah, Pluto…the demoted planet. Hmm. Some say Ceres is about the menses cycle & others call feminism.  Others say she signifies the eco warrior aspect of the Great Goddess.  Like Gaia.

Anyway, it will be interesting to see why wimmyn notice when Ceres goes into Libra – I think a shift from Virgo to Libra usually feels quite profound when any planet does it.

Also, if you are a mother, please compare your Moon and Ceres signs here along with which one you feel would most aptly signify your mothering style…I have Ceres in Pisces & the Moon in Libra & I think i’m more Libran Moonie at mothering with occasional veer-offs into Ceres-style. In fact, I think my Ceres only pops up when i feel absolutely absorbed by parenting to the exclusion of all else.  Could that be the key to Ceres?

So, as I suspected, the Cancerian Full Moon bought me out in full Zen-Noire-Hippy mode, with the usual Crab Moon carbophilia…I am talking:

* New appreciation of the daffier herbal teas, such as the dandelion & burdock combo, hippy insights gleaned from watering garden & feeling sense of communion with all botanical life. Especially the parsely. eg; how plants thrive depending on the quality of the soil & the nurturing, the heat, the light blah de blah, the desire to cook something ‘properly’ and musing upon lentils + the genius of sprouting, lecture-nurturing peeps re vitamins/water etc, pondering making a patchwork quilt for five seconds, patchouli oil as (temporary) signature scent, thinking that the cats are resonating at a higher viber than usual & buying them extravagant fish to thank them for being so feline, doing laundry as mystical ritual,  decided to get more serious about my chamomile lawn as chamomile most likely sacred, trying to have ‘deep’ conversations re feelings with children, whom sensing sentiment immediately attempt to alchemise the moment into retail purchases, to ensure their sense of security remains intact.

Which is also tres Crab moon. The comforting new nightgown, the freshly washed pillowcases, a fridge full of actual food as opposed to the latest Aquarian vitamins/supplements regime. During such a benevolently aspected Full Moon in the sign of Gaia, it’s naturally so much easier to feel deep emotions & sit comfortably with them. Ditto feeling a connection to Terra. Live it up with the Zen-Noire-Hippy awareness vibe guys because Jupiter in Aquarius is moving toward the North Node & things are about to get a lot more expansively weirder. Positive. But still weird. This Moon is the last chance to look back fondly & with a goobly counsellory persective/sentimental smirk of understanding for a while.
