November is quite volatile, especially the first two weeks. There are s-loads of Fixed Squares featuring face-offs between planets in Leo, Aquarius and Scorpio.  These alone can feel frustrating. Peeps are infuriatingly obstinate and truculent types get power-trippy. You may have to detach and do thy own thing. Don’t rely on other peeps flexibility or even clarity.

Then again, there is the Saturn-Pluto square. Rather, the first of a series of these things. Saturn and Pluto last interacted in late 2001. It tends to coincide with geopolitically significant events. BUT November is fantastic for growth, initiating reforms and stylish personal evolution. Just don’t go on any powertrips and be super-straight, tranquil and even dull – if you can manage it – mid-month.

Think positivist reconfiguring as opposed to bombastic gestures.

Yes, there are Fixed Squares all over the shop – the trickiest kind as they tend to make one feel irritatingly stuck and then one’s thinking just gets into a stupid rut. And it’s kind of ongoing till apres Eclipse – next Weds. All the old-school advice applies: Stay calm & carry on. Count thy blessings. Semper Fidelis.

Oh I could do some lovely “birth pangs” metaphors but i’ve got my own fuqed squares shite to deal with; you always knew the week leading up this Eclipse would be challenging. Do the old-school stuff and remember I said somewhere or other that as the looming Lunar Eclipse is in Capricorn – and the ruler of Saturn is in flexible Virgo; make plans, do lists, don’t succumb to feeling stick. Keep busy & grizzle-not. And…Uranus is WELL aspected in the next few days so go with trying to work the Saturn-Uranian axis, rather than being stuck in this tres temporary sensation of stuckness, stagnation and irriation.

Having said that i admit to having just wigged out as some idiot put put my sports bras in the dryer & the underwire’s warped so I can’t wear them & haven’t budgeted for new ones…Soo trivial but symbolic. Small things are enough to send peeps bats today and for the next few days…Perspective is a fine thing…

Venus has been basically gliding back and forth over the same ground since late January & won’t get past the degree of Aries where she went retrograde until May 17, the same day that Saturn goes Direct & right before the Auspicious Aqua-Weirding of late May.

In between now and May 5 the Love Goddess both squares Pluto (cathartic, v.hard to cling onto non-authentic things ‘just because’, passionate) and sextiles the Dragon’s Head. I love calling it that. Nowadays it’s the Moon’s North Node. Anyway, it’s a point of fate. Lots of things that have been trying to happen all year (whether joinings or partings) happen over this time & that’s without even taking into account all the fixed squares from Taurus to Aquarius…also a status-quo buster.

And, lol, there is a Full Moon in Scorpio amidst all this…on May 9 – the 8th if you are in the USA. Sooo profound that i need new synonyms for cathartic.

Happy New Moon in Taurus. So a new lunar cycle begins & this one as Mercury in Taurus challenges a whole heap of planets in Aquarius. Fixed Squares = Forced Growth. Invoke the positivity of Taurus – serenity, robust determination & love of life’s sensual details – not the truculent control-freaky refusal to change aspects. There is also a bucolic calm – the Bovinity! – to be accessed with this New Moon…
