Snake Dreaming

Okay guys – the Moon is in Aquarius and nearing Jupiter + Neptune.  This is like Lucid Dreaming Central. I am going to try an old thing i read and i CANNOT recall where it comes from…ancient, i suppose.  They say you get a picture of a Snake and ask it a question just before you go to bed. You put the Snake picture under your pillow and voila – the answer by morning or early the next day.  No i don’t know the origin but the Snake has always been credited with wisdom and in some traditions, knowing every secret in the world.  So who is IN???  We do it tonight, check back in the morning.

Sexy Druid Warriors always aid one’s interest in ye olde Celtic practices.

Celtic Astrology is fascinating, of course, but like Geomancy (the Celtic version of Feng Shui) not nearly enough is known about it, thanks to the persecution and genocide of the Pagans.

It has it’s own Zodiac & we’re all trees! I think it’s beautiful, though sadly incomplete…We are soon in the time of the Hazel Tree:

And if you click on the witch-burning link, that damned book (Malleus Malificarum) was like a best-seller. Can you believe it? I read the whole thing one go on a day long ago in a sterile but comforting university library & found it so scary. It’s so dry and legal. But imagine your local council using it as their handbook. I had to keep looking up to remind myself that i was surrounded by trees, freedom, laws and relaxed students of all races & sexual identity, religion et al.

Lilith Conjunct The Full Moon Eclipse!

You know, i have been so busy that i only just now  noticed that Lilith is conjunct the Full Moon Eclipse in Capricorn. OR maybe i did  notice but got distracted. Or repressed the info. This is awesome though as it backs my vibe about this particular Eclipse being bitchy & not in a bad way.

I don’t mean go out there & be angry or mean-spirited. I mean getta grip & apply some positive, bitched up discrimination to areas of your life where maybe you HAVE been a bit slack, sentimental or generous with the benefit of the doubt.

Lilith is fascinating. You can check her our in your chart via the Extended Chart Options on Astrodienst & what is instructive is to compare her to your Venus & Moon. Is there a relationship? Lilith is the darker feminine, the pre-patriarchal Eve, first wife of Adam, one-time Snake Goddess relegated to demoness in the Christian pantheon.

She’s whom you call upon or the archetype that is active when one needs to survive ordeals such as abuse, sans help. She’s the original Bitch-Goddess & being activated right now. How to channel her productively?

Okay, so the French Justice Minister gave birth to a daughter last week & this article in the Daily Mail is at first about how she has returned to work, glamorous & happy. But she – a Saggo – is quite fascinating. She won’t say who the father is & so speculation in France is naturally rife.

“A host of magazine covers have celebrated her against-the-odds success story as the second of 12 children born to a Moroccan labourer and illiterate Algerian mother, hailing her as the new face of France.” She is France’s first female Muslim minister. “Miss Dati herself has said: ‘I left school at 16, my family was not privileged and I struggled for many years. My life is not a beautiful story.’ …Dati, who had an arranged marriage annulled in her youth, said it was ‘fundamental’ for her to have a child.”  More here.

Her astro is interesting: She has the Moon, Mars, Venus and Midheaven all close together in Capricorn so tremendous drive to draw upon and she is in the middle of a Saturn transit. Saturn is crossing her Fifth house (children, creative self-expression) Uranus & Pluto. And Uranus is on her natal Chiron & Ceres in Pisces. So the Saturn-Uranus opposition is playing out quite powerfully. Taurus Rising means she can radiate placidity, dignity & strength through all this.
