Mercury AND Mars Bats

This pic, seriously, is like me looking at my e-mail just now. Mercury AND Mars Retro is so infuriatingly bats ALREADY that I am back here even though technically not blogging again till Jan 4.

Okay, I am INSANELY into positive Retro spin. I have been musing upon a hokie little How-Mercury-Retr0-in-Cap-Helps-You-Process-the-Past-and-get-your-personal-history-reframed…And I was born with Mars Retrograde so it can’t be that bad…Mars and Mercury Retro  great planning times, excellent for major eureka flashes re your past & soulmining for the benefit of fab future creativity…

But you know what guys? It is STILL Mercury Retro and it can still screw up perfectly functioning e-mail systems so they – in this case – throw up thousands of previously deleted e-mails…as if they were new & unread again…Is there a cosmic message here? Am i supposed to be pouring over the fake rolex offers for celestial significance???  One counts one’s blessings but it’s weird…non? And on the first day of Mercury Retrograde…

So hang on to thy sanity – i reckon it’s gonna be a BIG Full Moon Eclipse & please-please-please I know it is the post-Saturnalia sales and all but it is NOT the time to buy big items or make massive decisions or initiate lawsuits. You can process weird news re your exes or similar without shifting continents, becoming a breatharian or buying a pet marmalute. I am slightly biassed against the latter right now as one tore my front gate off its hinges. Mars Retro also his weirdings, you understand.

Yes, yes YES; The combo of Mars newly Retrograde & the Moon in mystical Pisces can temporarily make us feel like we have lost our moxy…Plus is v.hard to do carbicide, goal-setting, budget-blasting chic frugality & even think clearly this season at any rate.

But look to REAL Leos for inspiration here. Think a la Arnie (maybe not his politics) just past his second Saturn Return, scheming his next latest comeback movie moment and still hitting the gym every morning.

Semper Fi and keep going…Mars Retro = Withdraw a bit and strategies. Moon in Pisces = Dream. Surreality bites.

Rules For Retrograde Mars in Leo:

(1) Okay, fine, Mars-sensitive peeps don’t do f@#* rules, I gather that but “suggestions” sounds too wimpy.

(2) Write in your diary that date that Mars goes Direct – March 11.

(3) But, if you can wait till then, you may as well wait until the New Moon just after it goes Direct: March 15.

(4) Whilst Mars is Retro  you do not initiate aggression. Obviously, we should all be Zen-Noire generally but you think a trillion times before you start a fight of any sort, even a righteous one.

(5) As this is a Leo Retrograde, any ideas for your hair, an arts project or social climbing initiative is likely to be bats.

(6) But is is superb for scheming over-all strategies that you then action in mid-March onward.

(7) You can do grandiose Leo-style Mind-Mapping for your planning:  a massive canvas on which you paint your flow charts, Venn Diagrams & affirmations, no?

(8) Arieans, Leos and Capricorns may require sooky-goo-goo nurturing and drip-fed flattery, even though they will tell you they’re as stoic and upbeat as usual.

(9) Ye olde fashioned astro would have it that men retreat under such stars. So fret not if future-hubby-face hides out at his yoga ranch, couch central, the pub or in Denial World.

(10) Revise strategy where you have Leo in your chart. Especially Zero to 19 degrees.

(11) If you are a man, see number 9 and turn it into something proactive. Fab for self-development & habit altering.

(12) If you have a Leo male Ex, you betcha his name comes up in some interesting fashion.

Seriously, rest up with the Dark Moon and all but, if in doubt, think a la innovating yourself out of whatever paradigm you feel stuck in.

Sagg (the Sun) and Pisces (Uranus) are nothing if not fluid.

How fun!

You know the Mars-Venus trine building now and referred to below?

Well, I just realised that it is a bit more complicated & enchanted than even that.  I mean, Mars-Venus magic is quite intense as it is.

But asteroid Circe is conjunct Venus and so the Enchantress-Witch will be trining Mars too. Womanly wiles, anybody?

And Dark Moon Lilith is in Aquarius, moving into an opposition with Mars. So Venus has some powerful backing.

Ladies, you can have a good time (okay, if you are an Astro-Fiend) by comparing your Moon with your Dark Moon a.k.a. Lilith. Is there any significant link between the two? Could they each be said to reflect different facets of your femininity? Do you have your own little Madonna-Whore complex going on? Two distinct different types of female friendships? Repressed/shadow sides of your womanhood? Perfectly integrated “good” and “bad” you?

The Moon is in Libra, nearing Saturn and squaring Pluto…So it’s Libra with a Saturnine edge – scented aplomb (aplomb actually means balanced) & restraint – and Plutonic undercurrents; endings, beginnings, alchemy, clandestine lusts…Don’t let on or out until the New Moon in Sagittarius/Mars-Venus exact trine next week. Smell GORGEOUS. Manners matter. Your secret diary is a sight to behold. And hands up whose dreams are lucid AND lurid. Did I tell you that i had one the other night in which i was giving birth…to myself.

For the next few days Venus hooks up with Weird Planetary Dudes Uranus & Neptune.

It’s totally too hard to do bourgeois loving. And boy, have you picked the wrong few days to do dinner with in-laws or dutiful shite.

Think of Uranus as more like Prometheus or Promethea and in harmony with Venusian values for a better grip on it.  Add the square to Magical Realist Neptune and well, your love life can be v.satisfyingly morphed between now and next week’s Full Moon. It may be morphed overtly (compleat with peeps tut-tutting) or simply a mental segue that is nonethless QUITE the thought-quake experience for you.

It could be something else Venusian -getting suddenly over a past romantic thing, a $$$ realisaton or a rad makeover. Dreams bring good love guidance and it’s no use trying to be conventional. Unless that’s  your form of rebellion because you’ve been an insane player all year or something.

Note also that Uranus is zapping out weirding-rays all OVER the place, a bit like Mercury Retrograde, only it’s more affecting love,  your nervous system and systems in general. Let your mind run free (excellent fantasizing vibe) but ground your body and run any planned communiques through a sanity-check or at least wait until you have sobered up before bashing the send button.
