My crush on Mr Tesla continues unabated & apparently unrequited. Probably something to do with that he exited this dimension quite a while ago.  If you are not certain whom he is, this mini-doco thing I just glomped off YouTube IS, I promise, worth the nine minute watch…

Because if you get Tesla, you will so GROK the next few years of sci-culture. His chart is here - he’s a Cancerian with Pluto Rising in Taurus and being trined by Pluto right now.  The astro-scape of the next few years is eerily similar to his personal chart… Re-grokking Mr Tesla is tres Pluto in Capricorn and the astrology of the G.F.C.

And let’s spare a fancy word or two for all our fave Cancerians/Katakas today – They’ve got Pluto just getting cracking on the ‘no, whom are you REALLY?’ opposition trip…Plus Uranus is gonna square them soon. Cancerians and AND Caps AND Librans. Think, the Devil, the Devil’s Advocate, the Devil’s Stripper/Gimp and – hopefully- the Devil’s really helpful, benevolent and efficient P.A.

The Astro Of Susan Boyle

Oh well you’ve  most likely heard of this lady by now – Susan Boyle, surprise hit of this Brit Talent Quest & suddenly it’s like Christ & Princess Diana back in one go as it IS amazing footage. She’s so naff & frumpy looking & with this strange little come-hithery hip swinging attempted flirtation with the snide media-stud judges – you can see peeps in the audience rolling their eyes and then VOOMP; Sensational, divine & totally trained-seeming voice. It IS moving to watch.

Hence the hype; that someone non-hot, not ultra-young nor under management, having gone to a stage school or been recently inspired whilst hanging out backstage at her Gucci modelling stint kinda cool-scene is SO talented. Which is interesting & tres Pluto in Capricorn really. Ye olde authentic. She is a self-described “spinster” who claims never to have been kissed & is currently unemployed but volunteers to help out at her local church.  So NOW.

Her astro;  She is an Aries – note her Ariean eyebrows – with Moon in Libra but not sure of the Moon degree nor rising sign as lack of time….April 1 1961 in Scotland. She was born with Retrograde Venus in Aries and came to fame with Venus Retro at Zero Degrees Aries just coming off squaring Pluto. Mars in Cancer squares her Sun – that could be a bit pass-agg but it also SO fits someone living in obscurity biding her time. Deep dreams. The Dark Horse.

She’s just recently had her super-lucky Jupiter Return (betcha that coincided with her getting through the heats or whatevs for this show) – Neptune quincunxes her Aries Sun – she dreams a dream indeed. A lot of dreams…And Mars trines the Neptune…Juniper dreaming?  Pluto is bang on her North Node. As I think I have said before re Pluto-North Node people, they are singular and with fate playing a distinct and flamboyant role in bringing them into being a focal point & signifier of the Zeitgeist for a moment.

So Pluto is currently trining her natal Pluto/North Node in Virgo and will continue to do so for several years; she has a message other than belting out – however beautifully – these old show songs. But what?  It is a message that Pluto In Capricorn wants to deliver…And no, I don’t think it’s the Dream song nor Cry Me A River…it’s something else.

Astro-Mel Gibson

So, His Holy Hotness is getting a divorce. I used to totally adore him but went off HHH sometime around What Women Want , that religious movie, his hideous anti-gay/anti-sem rant when arrested driving drunk but whilst trying to find a suitable image to illo this post on Astro-Mel, i began to like  him all over again.

BTW: Speaking of Gibson’s artistic cred, has anyone SEEN Apocalypto? I wanted to see it for all the mythical themes but was put off by hearing it apparently horrendously gory. Like the Christ movie he made.

His astro-deets are interesting…Capricorn Sun with Kataka rising (those goo-goo eyes) & Moon in Libra. His Moon is natally square his Sun and Pluto is now squaring the Moon, before moving onto the Sun in a few years. So it’s catharthis central chez Mel, especially so far as it relates to women. He’d feel like he HAS to be real emotionally, authentic & all. Some say the dipsomania over the years a mask for gayness but there is currently a “mystery brunette” (female) being cited in various media.

Pluto is also right now trining his Jupiter in Virgo. This whole thing is going to somehow wind up being very good for him. He’s got a super-determined & success-driven Mars-Saturn in Scorpio but it has been dissipated a bit by Neptune in the last few years. Neptune transits can be religion, psychic awareness, haute art etc. Or…The internets full of pix of a recent-Mel boozing it up in what look like suburban bars all over the place. And I’d rather post pix of His Holy Hotness in full heat mode than his ghastly mug shot.

Finally, Uranus is moving up to his Midheaven; there this year and next. Career genius or the potential of it and a radically reinvented  public image. Note that the Saturn-Uranus opposition was across his IC-MC axis and at the same time that Pluto squaring that make-nice/put up with crap for the sake of official harmony Libran Moon. Cancerian/Kataka Rising & Cap Sun would not want to break up the family either.  So…what Uranian genius will His Holy Hotness come up with? Uranus on the Midheaven does not equate well to religious bigotry nor closetted ANYTHING.
